SCAM ALERT - DO NOT GO HERE…read more I just bought a new car and stopped by Prius & Hybrid Auto Experts thinking it would be quick and simple to get my plates put on. I asked the guy how much it would cost, and he joked saying "one million dollars." I laughed it off and asked again... he never gave me a real answer. So I figured okay, putting on plates shouldn't be that much. Then I asked how much for brakes, and he tells me $1600 for front AND back Immediately I'm like yeah... I'll call my mechanic. By the time I said that, he had already put my plates on and then says it's $30. I asked if he takes tap or Apple Pay, and he says "cash only." Mind you, there's NOTHING posted saying cash only. When I said I didn't have cash, he goes "you can't even give me $10?" Sir... I don't have cash OR cards on me, and there's literally a tap pay sign on the door, so what are we doing here?? At that point I told him to take my plates OFF, and I went to another mechanic. Whole situation felt shady and unprofessional. Prices all over the place, no clear communication, and then switching up to cash only at the end. Honestly, this place is a scam. I was in a dilemma and needed some bodywork done on my vehicle but was unsure of exactly what all…read morework would actually need to be done so I made a post on yelp looking for a shop to do the repairs. Boltz Automotive read my post and reached out to me letting me know what time and day they would be available to look at my vehicle and do a diagnostic on my vehicle for $150 and let me know exactly what work needed to be done and the $150 would go towards the repairs if I decided to have service completed through them. I would say within 24 hours of making the appointment for the diagnostic to be performed on my car and actually bringing it into the shop to be serviced. My car was complete and ready to drive again. I am very satisfied with the work that was performed on my vehicle. The staff at the shop is also all very friendly. 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend the shop to everyone with any car issues. The price I paid was amazing and I'm a super happy customer.
