Moreover, Brent was the first one to respond, and spoke to me on a weekend when no other contractor bothered to respond until the next Monday. On the very first day, Brent showed up to introduce himself to us, and I appreciated his curtesy towards me before any work even started. Our project took three days to complete. One day to set post and cure cement, one day to install frames for the fence and gate, and one day to complete the job. Daniel was there everyday (I believe Brent was there at least two days) working along his crew. They did a fantastic job, and the whole process was efficient and professional. The facts are as follows: 1. After a week or so of collecting quotes from contractors I went with Tyler and Highline. I was told on 8/26/19 by Tyler via text that they were booked out for 3 weeks. I agreed to wait and asked if someone would contact me to schedule. There was no response. 2. After a week I reached out to Tyler again and asked where we stood on the scheduling since he never responded to my question. Tyler apologized for the delayed response and said they were 2 weeks out and I asked him then if I was on his schedule which he confirmed. 3. After almost 3 weeks passed with no contact from Tyler or his company. I texted Tyler on 9/24/19 asking what day and time they were going to be coming to do the much needed repairs to our fence. He responded that they could come out on Wednesday of next week 10/3/19 but if I couldn't wait that long he understood if I called someone else. I explained to him how he had apparently strung me along for a month and I didn't appreciates lying to me or the lack of communication. Tyler responded that he's trying hard to run a business and feels he does a good job but isn't perfect but that he makes it right if he does make a mistake, then he asked if I wanted to call someone else again. I explained to him that i really needed the repairs ASAP as our fence is leaning badly and we have dogs that I'm afraid will get out. I told him I expected him to come out the following Wednesday and I hoped he could make it right. Tyler responded that he would confirm the schedule with me next week. 4. The next morning I received another text from Tyler telling me he wasn't coming now after thinking about it. These facts are indisputable. From my perspective Tyler seems like a nice person but he is sorely lacking in integrity and character. He promised he would be out in a couple of weeks and didn't show up or call. He then promised he would make the problem right and now has declined to even honor his word at all, leaving me now having to start from scratch. At this point, in a way I think Tyler is doing me a favor in declining to come because I have no reason to believe he will honor his word in any way, including the price he quoted. Therefore in return for the favor, my advice to Tyler is to find another occupation where honoring your word to your customers isn't important

And he always asks creepy questions like "is your wife home?" His employees will run over entire landscaping areas with no regard to anything you have planted. I have 4 destroyed plants throughout the entire process. His painters are paid by the hour and he will make you pay for how excruciatingly long they take to do their job. It took his two painters over TWO WEEKS to paint a little patio room. For having over 30 years experience I must say I'm disappointed.
