I drew up a design for a receiver hitch to mount over my front bumper hidden behind my license plate. Greg got it cut and formed to match my print (correcting a design flaw) and welded a receiver tube to it for me. His work was excellent, he was able to fit it in between his larger jobs, and he kept me informed of the (quick) schedule. I painted and installed it and everything has worked out great! I was looking for a fab shop to make me a plate style offroad bumper for my truck. I had a lot of shops tell me excuses why they can't do the work. But when meeting up with Greg, he gave me nothing but options. I had a long list of things I wanted on my bumper, and with each request, he gave me a solution "Yeah! We can totally do that!" Greg has a high attention to detail when it comes to his work. He took my light weight request as far as putting it into the design of the bumper. He shaved off weight where possible while keeping the structure integrity in mind. He is also fast on his work. I needed the truck in a week and he planned his time well to accomplish this project in time. Not only that, his pricing was very fair. He will beat out everyone's pricing, I assure you. I'm sure I wasn't the easiest customer to deal with, but Greg worked with me when I wanted to add little details here and there. Also he is an offroad enthusiast, so he has a great idea of what people want in their projects. For example, he was able to integrate hi-lift jack points into the bumper. One thing that surprised me about Greg was he asked me if he could put his logo on my bumper. Any other shop would have automatically put it on without asking, but this humble request shows that Greg truely cares about the customer and their needs of their project. I was searching for a muffler shop to fix some holes on my Borla Stainless Steel exhaust pipes (caused by previous owner welding brackets on that were mild steel). To my surprise, none of the muffler shops I called weld with stainless steel wire... I searched around some more and found Rock and Road. Now these guys can weld anything and have the proper materials to do it right. Check out all the vehicles they're working on at the shop and see for yourself. Top notch welding! These guys put down some beautiful beads! Greg went above and beyond. He gave me a good price/estimate and even though it took a lot more work, he honored the same price. Awesome! Was looking for a good fab shop to install my traction bar and I think I have found a great shop just few minutes drive from Roseville. Met Greg near their closing time, and almost instantly, recognize the honest and integrity of this man started from our detail discussion of a challenging traction install (not a lot of room between gas tank, drive shaft and muffler, as well as crossover drop to mount the front of traction bar) to willingness to tackle the muffler move, figuring out proper geometry for the traction bar mounts... all with his tentativeness, deep racing experience, and friendly demeanor put his customer at ease. Greg is the BEST!!! Talk about an artist, I have never seen weld lines like Greg can put down. I took a new front bumper to him that was damaged during shipment. He was highly recommend by a local powder coating shop. But I can't recommend him enough. Greg goes above and beyond of what he is asked and thinks about the process beforehand. He treats the job as he is doing it for himself. Stuff other shops would just say "screw it" it's not mine so why bother. My rear bumper won't be fixed by Greg, it will be built by Greg!!! Greg is awesome. Went to him because I did an axle swap in my truck and truck just did not feel stable. Couldn't figure it out for the life of me so emailed Greg. He said come on by and I'll take a look. Within 2 minutes of looking at it he told me where I went wrong. Explained it and told me how to fix it. Showed me his work and it was all top notch. These guys are wizards with their metal fabrication! I needed to get a new roll cage built for my CJ5. They were booked at the time, but Greg put me on his list and called me as soon as he was able to squeeze the project in. It was finished in just a few days and looks incredible! I was doing some maintenance on my F350 to get ready for a road trip to AZ when I noticed that my track bar bracket on my truck had snapped in half. So, I got on Yelp to look for a metal fabricator and found Rock & Road in Roseville. I decided to give them a shot since they were the closest. Greg got me in right away and welded the track bar bracket back together while I waited. He also fabricated a new mounting bracket so it would be stronger, and then reinstalled it. Price was very fair. The shop, which is quite impressive, is located in a residential neighborhood and seemed to be outfitted with the right tools to build just about anything you can think of out of metal; a Jeep/Rock Crawler's paradise ;) Now, after a 1500 mile round trip to AZ while carrying a heavy slide-in camper and pulling a trailer full off quads and dirt bikes, the weld & bracket still look great. I just got my truck back from Greg at Rock & Road and I'm so happy with the work, what an improvement! Greg replaced the wood deck on a 12' flatbed with 10g steel plate for a very fair price. He was easy to deal with and did what he said he would and did it on time! Which was critical for me as this is my work truck.
