After nearly a month in their shop and over $3,000 spent, the A/C still didn't work properly. When I got home and tested the heat (which had worked perfectly before), I found it wasn't working at all. After checking under the hood, I discovered my heater core had been disconnected and they had bypassed it by running coolant through a socket. They gave me a 36,000-mile or 3-year warranty--which I hit right on time since I drive about 20,000 miles a year for work. My AC went out in October 2024, just a few months after the warranty expired in June. When I brought it back in, they told me the warranty was up and quoted me $1,500 to fix the same system they had already replaced just three years earlier. The guys up front were nice, but honestly, it felt fake. I left feeling like they were trying to take advantage of me because I'm a woman. When I took my car somewhere else, that mechanic suggested I call Christian Brothers back to see if any of the parts were under warranty, since many AC parts typically come with a lifetime guarantee. But Christian Brothers told me none of the parts were covered because they buy from a wholesaler that doesn't offer those kinds of warranties. The bottom line: they charge premium prices, the work doesn't last, and they don't stand behind what they sell. I won't be going back.
