I purchased a new set of tires yesterday and was told they would be in today. As soon as I was notified that the tires had arrived, I dropped off my vehicle at the store. I was later called a second time and told that my tires were in and that I could bring my vehicle in. I explained that I had already been contacted and that my vehicle was already at the store. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I found it running unattended in the parking lot. More concerning, the original tires were still on the vehicle and the new tires had not been installed. As I started walking back into the store, Ronni, the sales associate, approached me and asked if everything was okay. I explained that my vehicle had been left running and unattended and that the original tires were still on it. I requested to speak with a manager. Initially, Ronni could not locate a manager. Shortly afterward, a manager approached me and said he remembered me because he was the person who had called to let me know that my tires had arrived. He offered to refund me for the alignment. I questioned how it was possible for a $1,300 set of tires not to have been installed on my vehicle. I also expressed my concern that, had I not personally checked the tires, I would have had no way of knowing whether the new tires had actually been installed. The manager stated that he would have to investigate and said that he would have realized the tires had not been installed when he ran his reports at the end of the day. At this point, I had already been waiting approximately two and a half hours, even though I was originally told the installation would take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. I requested that my vehicle be given priority. The store manager was kind and professional and told me that he would reimburse me for the alignment and the certificates associated with the tires. However, he then handed me a set of keys that did not belong to my vehicle. At that point, I had to question how I could have confidence that the work on my vehicle had been completed correctly. If the store could not ensure that the correct tires were installed and could not even provide me with the correct keys to my vehicle, I was understandably concerned about whether the installation and any other work had been performed properly. Overall, this experience has been extremely concerning and frustrating. I paid $1,300 for a new set of tires and expected my vehicle to be handled professionally and safely. Instead, my vehicle was left running unattended, the tires were not initially installed, I was given the wrong vehicle keys, and I was left questioning whether the work on my vehicle had been completed correctly. I believe these concerns warrant a thorough review and an explanation of what happened. read more

It seemed like I just sat down and they were completed in about 25 minutes and the place was very busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The employees are very friendly and the best part the repair was free.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was absolutely no pressure to buy new tires and they explained on a chart about your wear and approximate mileage left before needing replacement. Somewhere I picked up a nail in my rear passenger side tire. Most likely from the sloppy roofers working down the street. Fortunately, it was a slow leak and I noticed it while the car was in the garage. A slow enough leak that I could air it up at home and make it to Discount Tire, 2 miles away. After the last experience at Discount Tire, I learned to avoid Dan. I made a reservation on line. Easy to do. I aired it up again before I left. The car was in the air 15 minutes after I got there and I was out 30 minutes later with a complementary repair. Thank you, Discount Tire! You have my business. I took my truck in to get a screw removed and the tires rotated. The attendant measured my tread depths, then said the tires were "hazardous" and that they would not rotate them. I said to just fix the flat. Again, he refused using the word hazardous once more. He proceeded to try to sell me a new set of tires. My tires aren't even close to the wear bars yet and have even wear across them. I've been going here for years and always had good experiences, but those days are now over. read more

We needed to replace our tires and we brought it here. Their service cannot be matched. We were met immediately onsite and our rep was so respectful and nice to us. I was actually taken aback from it because I wasn't expecting such great service. They were so honest with us and told us that we only needed to replace the front two tires instead of all four. He took us inside and did our paperwork and gave us an accurate completion time of 1.5 hours without an appointment and I tell you, this place is a perfect 5 stars. Immediately as I arrived I was greeted by Doug, the protagonist in this story. He diagnosed my problem with the utmost confidence and agility and had me out of the cold and into the warm and festive lobby faster than you can say "Doug." They replaced my steel rim and reminded me of my tire warranty that I purchased in 2020 (Drake doesn't remember these things). purchased 4 tires. upon removing the front right tire, when they pulled the jack out , the entire hub assembly swung down out of the strut mount as the person who rebuilt the front end did not bolt the strut in place at the bottom. they did not have a steering knuckle spreader to allow for the re seating of the strut. [[HIGHLIGHT]]they proceeded to tell me I needed to have them car towed out. tires had all been mounted on them rims at this point. no other offer of remedy just tow it out !!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I offered to walk down to parts store and buy a spreader. they said that was not allowed as customer supplied tools are out of policy. REALLY? I've spent several hundred bucks on tires and they wont help me out over policy??? its a 5 minute process to spread the knuckle and re seat the strut. 5 MINUTES. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After the shock wore off I told them to put my old tires back on and I would get my car towed out but it would be without me spending a dime with them. they looked me in the face and blankly said " OK". WHO DOES THAT!!!!!!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Finally a mechanic walks down and said to reseat the strut ass the weight of the car would keep it seated until I could get to a place that had the proper tool to reseat and secure the strut. Had to visit discount tire for 4 new tires. Our first contact was excellent! Amazing customer service from the gentleman that first helped us. Our tires wasn't in stock so it had to be ordered, once tires arrived we got an appointment for installation the next day! Talk about amazing service..... second visit excellent service again when I dropped my car off to have the 4 tires mounted, got a call at approximately 12:30pm that my car was done! I show up to pick up my car 2 hours later to find it open and running with the air conditioning on! MY CAR WAS LEFT RUNNING FOR 2 HOURS BECAUSE THE TECH FORGOT TO TURN IT OFF, AND AFTER TALKING TO THE MANAGER ALL HE SAID WAS OH! I'M SORRY! Very disappointed with customer service with this Discount tire location. Last Friday I needed 2 winter tires for the front of my wifes vehicle and was directed to the Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 tires. I know its almost summer now but I needed to get the summer wheel and tire combo off for road rash repair and a new set of tires. I had 2 sport 02's mounted on two wheels that where carried in, I'm picky and its easier to bring in just the wheels and tires... wise decision. Later that evening I was on Discount tires website, pricing the 2 tires for the rear of the car (different size than the fronts) when I noticed they were Summer tires. Reading further "Sport 02 should not be used, stored or serviced in or near below freezing temperatures." Definitely not a good winter tire for Tulsa Oklahoma!!! I looked for another option online but none of the locations near by had what I wanted on hand. I ended up ordering another set of Continentals. I went back today to get the Sport 02's removed. Same as before, carried in the wheels and tires. They were never mounted on the car. I didnt get any resistance about getting them removed and a refund put back on my card. When I received the receipt back it was $48 short. I asked about it and was told it wasnt refundable. It was a $24 fee per tire for installation and life of tire maintenance. So, apparently I still have a maintenance plan for the 2 tires I dont own. While waiting for the WRONG tires to be removed from my wheels I sat and watched everything going on out in the garage. Old habit, I worked in the industry for years. In the 1st bay, closest to the sales floor, 10 feet from me, a newer "Pepsi blue" Toyota Supra was pulled in for apparently new tires. Wheels were pulled off of the car and the valve cores removed, normal procedure, quickest way to deflate them for removal. After that the wheels were rolled to the front of the car and tipped hub side down and allowed to drop to the concrete, the wheels took the complete impact. I saw it coming and cringed, If they have security cameras they can watch my cringe and see my reaction. With this going on I didn't even notice that the WRONG tires were removed from my wheels and the bare wheels were placed back into the bed of my truck. I just got up and walked out. When the new set of Continentals arrive tomorrow I will not be going back to Broken Arrow Discount tire to get them mounted. read more

I've been to Discount Tire 3 times - once to get new tires, once to rotate those tires, then the other day when I ran over a screw. I was leaving work and my tire pressure sensor came on. I'm so happy it wasn't flat! I went by QT to try and air it up but the light wouldn't go off. I am not handy with cars (at all) so I sent my husband a text and asked what I should do. He told me to go to Discount Tire since they fix flats for free. I prayed the entire way over there that my tire wouldn't poop out, but it made it and they got my car into a bay within 5 minutes. They were super busy the night I went (several people with the same issue I had due to construction in the area) so I had to wait about an hour. Thankfully the manager was constantly going out into the garage to check on the progress of certain cars, and was being as hospitable as possible in the waiting area. They made sure to fill up all of my tires, and even let me back my car out of the bay. The waiting area is clean with several chairs, and they usually offer water and coffee but that day they appeared to be out. Maybe it was because it was an hour before closing time, who knows. I appreciated them being open until 6, and the thorough work checking out all of the tires. The workers here are friendly, and that helps a lot when you're already stressed out about your car! read more

I have been a Discount Tire customer and proponent for over 15 years... they have been awesome! I even referred two new customers to them in the last two weeks! However, something has changed and they are no longer trustworthy. I stopped in last week to have a slow leak repaired on one of my tires and spoke to Baryn, who told me the tire may not be repairable because of internal damage, but the could not dismount the tire unless I agreed to replace the tire if it was not. He also confirmed that if it was not repairable, it would be replaced and the cost covered by the Road Hazard "cert" (warranty certificate which was purchased when the tire was installed.) Since they did not stock the Michelin tires I had on the car (last purchased from Discount Tire,) Baryn would order one in (just in case) and an appointment to repair or replace the tire was set for a few days later. When I returned for the appointment, Cameron (evidently Baryn was not working that day) informed me the Road Hazard certificate COULD NOT be honored because of "secondary wear" on the shoulder of the tire. When questioned, Cameron could not explain why Baryn had told me it would except to speculate he had not looked at the tire well enough. I am through with Discount Tire because of this. Their Road Hazard Certificates are not worth purchasing if they will not honor them! I recommend purchasing tires at another tire retailer. read more

There are not a lot of tire shops in or around this area of BA (North BA as some call it), so when it was built, we were happy to check it out. I do really appreciate that if you buy tires from a Discount Tire location, you can have flats repaired for free and/or have your tires rotated for free as well. This saves a lot of money in the long run. What I don't like is the inconsistency between locations, and they will try to tell you that you need new tires or that they are almost worn out, etc... almost every time you come in. I suggest buying a tire depth gauge, watching a how-to youtube video to test your own tread, just so you go in armed with more information. We bought the 2nd best quality of tires they offer here in 2016, and I kid you not, the very first tire rotation I had the worker (who I think no longer works here) tried to tell me I needed new tires. So, take it for what it's worth. Utilize the free tire rotations, flat repairs and air pressure checks, but be aware and don't let anyone pressure you into buying something you don't need. read more

Holy smokes, these people are friendly. It's the kind of friendliness that makes you suspicious because you're like, "Why are you being so nice to me?" I've been in here three times now though and so now I know they're just nice people. They're pretty fast, too. You always seem to get consistently good service at pretty much any Discount Tire and this is no exception. I was greeted from the parking lot, explained my situation (a nasty blowout), went through my options and they were working on my car within 15 minutes. I went on a Tuesday about 11am and was out before noon. It wasn't crowded at all, which was very very nice. If you're in the Tulsa area and need new tires or have a flat you need fixed, this is a great place to go and get taken care of QUICKLY. So getting tires isn't much fun for most of us. They have all these big ridiculous tires in the showroom, but I can't imagine that many people go in excited about new tires. If you want to just get in and get out as quickly as possible, and be treated like a human being, this is a great place to go. read more

Do not buy Michelin tires there. They are the cheap version of the original Michelin, hence, "Discount Tire." I bought a set 4yrs. ago I don't drive much but the tires are splitting between the treads. They still have good treads on them but they are splitting between the treads. read more
