The Story: I brought my vehicle here after being suspicious of a major local shop's inability to locate an oil leak. I was suspicious because the oil leak was not a small amount at all, and they seemed to want to push to 'replace hoses' and other such things to 'track the leak down' and use 'tracer fluid'. Which by the by, seemed suspiciously expensive. I did not inform R&R about it, simply that I was bringing it in for some other issues and filter replacements. R&R serviced the items I asked for, but also the leak was located, he even put the car up on the lift and showed it to me and how obvious it seemed with a visual inspection. This is what a good Mechanic should do, and I will happily part with the money to fix this problem and more than that, make them the place for my oil changes and other maintenance. Shady mechanics give those like R&R and other professionals a bad name. Save yourself the time and stress and just go straight here, okay?

In particular, they completely tried to screw me over on a recent repair. They tried to tell me that three major components went out all at the same time and all needed replaced which amounted to a few thousand dollars. After getting into a complete argument with both the manager and front desk person, I left and found a real mechanic down the street. He saw the same dummy lights that triggered midas, but then you did a further test and found all three of the pieces that midas wanted to replace were in good working order. He then found a wire harness that had triggered all of the dummy lights, replaced it, and the car is running like new. The midas crew not only showed their incompetence as mechanics, but they also showed there incompetence in customer service and support. I will never go back, I am telling everyone I know that they should not go there. I'm also advising you to drive on and don't waste your time, or more accurately, don't waste your money her. Ps, I'm a grown man and they were trying to fill me full of garbage. Luckily, I know a little about cars and understood how ludacris their repair suggestions were. If you're not comfortable going to a mechanic and have trust issues with mechanics to begin with, then I would highly recommend avoiding this place.

I called Midas on 11th st and Talked with Alicia, Immediately, she said, No worries, I know how to deal with the warranty places, I know what they need to file a claim. Left my car and within an hour or so, Alicia called, gave me a run down of the issues and not only that she had already contacted the warranty place and they agreed to fix the issues.
