Brought my vehicle in for a nail in the rear tire. While in, they advised me the front two tires needed replaced. I've had them for about five years but have not reached the 60k miles warranty. I asked them if they can check on the warranty to see if we can apply it to 2 new tires. They did and I was able to replace the front tires at the pro rated rate. I purchased a new set of tires yesterday and was told they would be in today. As soon as I was notified that the tires had arrived, I dropped off my vehicle at the store. I was later called a second time and told that my tires were in and that I could bring my vehicle in. I explained that I had already been contacted and that my vehicle was already at the store. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I found it running unattended in the parking lot. More concerning, the original tires were still on the vehicle and the new tires had not been installed. As I started walking back into the store, Ronni, the sales associate, approached me and asked if everything was okay. I explained that my vehicle had been left running and unattended and that the original tires were still on it. I requested to speak with a manager. Initially, Ronni could not locate a manager. Shortly afterward, a manager approached me and said he remembered me because he was the person who had called to let me know that my tires had arrived. He offered to refund me for the alignment. I questioned how it was possible for a $1,300 set of tires not to have been installed on my vehicle. I also expressed my concern that, had I not personally checked the tires, I would have had no way of knowing whether the new tires had actually been installed. The manager stated that he would have to investigate and said that he would have realized the tires had not been installed when he ran his reports at the end of the day. At this point, I had already been waiting approximately two and a half hours, even though I was originally told the installation would take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. I requested that my vehicle be given priority. The store manager was kind and professional and told me that he would reimburse me for the alignment and the certificates associated with the tires. However, he then handed me a set of keys that did not belong to my vehicle. At that point, I had to question how I could have confidence that the work on my vehicle had been completed correctly. If the store could not ensure that the correct tires were installed and could not even provide me with the correct keys to my vehicle, I was understandably concerned about whether the installation and any other work had been performed properly. Overall, this experience has been extremely concerning and frustrating. I paid $1,300 for a new set of tires and expected my vehicle to be handled professionally and safely. Instead, my vehicle was left running unattended, the tires were not initially installed, I was given the wrong vehicle keys, and I was left questioning whether the work on my vehicle had been completed correctly. I believe these concerns warrant a thorough review and an explanation of what happened. read more

Their warranty policy is excellent and when I can I make an appointment when I need to replace tires sometimes I have to do the walk in and while it can be a bit of a wait it's worth it. read more

I took my truck in for a flat repair. I had previously put a road plug in it to get me by. It has only been a week and when I took it in for the actual repair they said "it would be unsafe to fix this tire." Mind you the hole is in the center of the tread. I now know why they never hired me. I'm over qualified for their line of work because they clearly have wet dreams of being super human by saying their going to mess up the steel belts inside the rubber. From now on I'll be preforming my own tire repairs. I'll get the interior plugs and break the tires down the old-school way and do it myself. We went over prices together and most were better than what I had shopped around for previously. hello- went to discount tire a few days ago. I left the tire shop when driving down the road i was hearing this noise but couldn't think what it could be. got home the hood was popped open but latched . i checked my dash camera the worker at the tire shop- popped open my hood but never shut it back i have it on video. why would the worker pop the hood why?. if the hood would of came unlatched going down the road just bad. then i wanted countless-contact i paid for everything online. i still had too go inside the store. they did put the tires on fast. fast service i give them that.. I have been to the Tulsa Hills location twice. I will no longer be a customer because customer service is not something this location values. The first time I frequented, the guy insulted me and my vehicle choice incessantly when he could have simply said that they could not perform the job due to the customization on the vehicle. The second time is absolutely unacceptable. I ordered tires online then 3 days later they tell me they're not in stock. Ok, fine, but I am renting a vehicle at this time mind you. They offer me another choice and said they would order them. Seven days later they tell me no one actually ordered them. I then called every day to check the status of their arrival. No one could answer. Finally, they come in. I arrive at the store with an appointment and it took them 8 hours to put tires on a set of wheels. Not even installed on the car. I reminded them I have another vehicle service appointment elsewhere that day. No apology of any kind. We bought new Cooper tires and couldn't be happier. The reason for the bad rating is because of the finance company they use. Synchrony finance has screwed up my online payments 3 Mos. in a row. I came in for a rebalance (which they advertise as free for life) due to a slight vibration at highway speed. They had previously installed all four tires on this vehicle. Instead of a no-hassle rebalance, I was given the typical pitch of four new tires at over $1100. When I said I wasn't wanting new tires right now, they claimed the tires were unsafe and they couldn't do the rebalance and that the vibration was due to wear on the tires. I do most of my own maintenance on my vehicles and I can measure wear on tires. These are not unsafe or unroadworthy. In fact, two of the tires are still under their supposed warranty. I spoke with the manager and explained this all felt very scammy. He was quick to tell me that he got paid the same whether I had my service done there or somewhere else. So, after using this location for over 10 years, I'm happy to take my business elsewhere. read more

I travel out of state for work and having good working tires is very important. 11/30/15 Update: Back in September I gave them 1/5 stars thinking I would go somewhere else for my tire needs. Unfortunately, I am incredibly lazy. When I got up this morning and had a low tire indicator on my car, I didn't know who else to turn to but Discount Tire. I've been going to the ones in TX and AZ for years. I considered going to the locations in Broken Arrow or Owasso, but again too lazy. Couldn't break myself of the habit. This time, they were nice and attentive. Inflated the tires right away. They've been upgraded to 2/5 stars; the "Meh. I've experienced better" rating. I have...at other Discounter Tires. As of now, the rating for this place can't go up anymore because earlier this month when my husband was trying to replace the tires for his car, they kept trying to sell him on those tires they manufacturer instead of the Goodyear's that he wanted. He ended up going elsewhere. 9/8/15 Pros: I know this chain and have had many positive experiences with them in the past Cons: needed a tire patched. They told me 45 minutes. When i came back 45 minutes later, they hadn't eve started! The service guy gave 2 half hearted excuses "something came up" and "I put it in wrong." I don't have all day to sit here and wait on this. They eventually finished 30 minutes after promised time. Didn't patch tire. Charged me $205 for one new one. Except it wasn't the brand that the other 3 were. Turns out they have a great customer service program, and went above and beyond ALL expectations to keep me happy and safe on the road. I was tempted to go back to Tate's, but Discount's willingness to keep me happy made me a lifelong customer, and I will tell all my friends to go here as well. They got me out of a tight jam on a Friday at 5:45, and the employees were nothing but helpful and nice (even while I was postponing their Friday night plans). One note, this is a busy location. If you need your tires rotated at lunch you might wait 2 hours for it to be done. That may explain the low reviews at this location. read more

Brought it to Discount Tires. Devon worked with us to find the damage to the tire helped us explore our options and costs ahead of time if the tire wasn't repairable. A nail was found inaudible the tire and they took care of the repairs quick, and Devon was very attentive and made sure to give us regular updates. Extremely happy with their service. read more

The only saving grace for this place is an employee named Darrick. He was the only straight shooter with me. I originally went here a few months ago with a low tire pressure warning that wasn't going away with me adding air to my tires. I used to have my tires needs done at America's Tire in California so since Discount Tire is the same they'll see my account history over the years. So the first visit they add air to my tires and send me on my way. A week later I'm back with the same issue so back I go. This next visit they tell me I have "corrosion around the rim but they added a sealant so I should be good to go." Ok great and off I go. One more week goes by and the same issue comes up. Now I'm busy and can't make it in right away so it became a weekly to semi daily process to keep air in my tire to get me by. Now I'm at my third visit to hopefully get a resolution. I had been working with this kid Justin almost every visit. This time he tells me I need a whole new rim and they don't have one that looks like mine, the closest is a black one, yay. Ok fine, order it, I'll get a call when it is in. Over a month goes by so I call to get the status. Oh the rim has been there for almost the entire time. I'm irritated but I schedule to come in the next day. I get there and there's Justin who has the balls to try to upsell me to 4 new tires as well. He's in a sales position so I get it but I'm just wanting to get my issue resolved and I'll handle the tires another day most likely with another company. This is where Darrick enters as he was the guy installing my rim. He pulls me aside so I'm thinking great more issues. I HAD A NAIL IN MY TIRE, MY RIM WAS FINE. He patched the nail hole, tested for any other leaks and there were none. Saved me $180. He wanted to know who I had been working with and what he had been telling me. Honestly he probably saved my business as well as my family who have their cars worked on through my account.
