What really says everything about them: recently, a cabinet broke, one of the preinstalled ones they had absolutely nothing to do with. They came back anyway, no hesitation. They've helped me maintain the kitchen ever since and they've kept in touch the whole time. That's just who they are. They also created a custom paint color for my wife and had her go down to the factory to work with their experts on it. That level of care is rare. Five years later, everybody who walks into our kitchen compliments it. Great craftsmanship, even better people. Highly recommend.

Our kitchen had been the same since the house was built, making it a 22 year old, very outdated setup. We wanted something more modern and elegant to fit the rest of our house and i could never have expected this company to have done such an outstanding job. We were hesitant about the quality of work when we first signed the contract because we had never committed to such a large project before and I think we were asking for a lot of work done. Compared to other companies, the OG Cabinet Experts gave us a quote much more affordable and a deadline that we felt very happy about. Mo gave our kitchen a new island, repainted our cabinets, changed our countertops and backsplash, tore down a wall, and even installed new appliances. He was as committed and focused on making our dream kitchen come true as the rest of my family. It wasn't just Mo that we are grateful to, but his stellar team who came in every day, answered our questions patiently, and met an already short deadline. They were extremely efficient and mindful of the work they did and adjusted to our requests amazingly. I cannot applaud them enough and if we were ever to do our kitchen again, we'd go to the Original Cabinet Experts without missing a beat.

Finally, a Cabinet Company That Actually Guides You…read more We found Kitchen Cabinets Express midway through our kitchen remodel after our original cabinet company left us frustrated. They were "yes people" -- agreeable on everything but never once offered guidance or pushed back when our ideas weren't practical. We needed a real partner, and that's exactly what we found here. Ammar was exceptional. He's a true expert and adviser who wasn't afraid to be honest with us. When some of our ideas weren't the most functional, he told us so -- and immediately came back with multiple alternatives that helped us land on a design that was both sleek and practical. One of the best decisions he guided us toward was using two different cabinet colors -- light gray for the perimeter cabinets and a warm dark wood for the island. The contrast is stunning and gives the kitchen a high-end, designer feel we never would have landed on without his input. The installation crew was equally impressive -- the fit and finish on every cabinet, drawer, and detail is top notch. The result speaks for itself. If you're considering a kitchen project, start with a consultation here. We'll absolutely be back for future projects.

Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. Where is the 10-star button?!? I cannot recommend Max highly enough. After firing the design…read morebuilder I originally engaged, Max stepped in to complete a full remodel of our little HB cottage. What was once a tired and dated 2-bedroom house is now an adorably modern and expansive 1-bedroom, complete with spa-like bathroom and vaulted ceilings. Unbelievably, the project came in on time and on budget.

Our electric cooktop and hood broke many months ago, and we thought that replacing it with a gas…read morecooktop and new hood would be straightforward. It turns out that was not true. One plumber could install a gas line only, another plumber could install a gas line and the gas cooktop but not the hood, and an appliance installation technician could not install the cooktop because he could not cut into the existing granite top. So I found Max of MRI Construction and Remodeling on Yelp, and he said that he could do the work within that original scope -- cooktop, hood, and gas line -- but that we should anticipate a backup plan in case the granite cracked during installation. Because we plan to live in this house for as long as possible, we decided to go through a full kitchen renovation. We had a prior experience with another general contractor who was impossible to get a hold of and who could not ensure the quality of the subcontractors he hired, and interviewed another general contractor who gave us the impression that we would have to engage with suppliers and subcontractors more than seemed feasible. We are happy to say that we just finished our kitchen renovation last week! And it was finished a week earlier than scheduled. We are thankful to Max and his team of subcontractors! We are really happy with the final kitchen, given how much we cook at home. And surprisingly the process was easy despite its size and time of 6 weeks. Max has the strengths and qualities you want for your construction projects: he's incredibly responsive, honest and communicative, and willing and able to troubleshoot issues that come up, as they invariably do, both small and large. He makes recommendations if you ask and gives you options for decisions for which there are too many options. He works with an amazing group of subcontractors who are experts in their craft. There was an exception with one subcontractor but Max was able to get that course-corrected so that the project finished strong. We appreciate his integrity and his willingness to ensure that the project meets your needs and expectations. We are grateful that we found Max on Yelp and for being able to work with him on a kitchen that we love and also within budget!! Thank you, Max and MRI Construction!!
