They provided our personal information to the installer we found. The Floor Store salesman is either petty or is ignorant of law.

I had contacted a few contractors for quotes and felt that most were unclear about what would be done and what we were actually paying for. When I called Vitali he was able to come out the following morning, his quote was clear and reasonable, and he laid out of schedule of what would be done each day. He was able to give suggestions about what we might want consider (Ive never remodeled a bathroom before) which was very helpful and he was able to start very quickly. He was even accommodating and took my calls from the store where I was buying materials and helped guide my purchases. When the work started, he and his people arrived promptly every morning, were very courteous, and cleaned up at the end of every day. In order to stay on schedule, which they finished the job in 8 days, he even stayed late, with permission, working until after 8:00 multiple times. He checked in with me regularly as the work was going on, not just about the major things but even the little things that I would have really considered. For example, I'm tall and he made a point to make sure that the shower heads were a bit higher than normal. He made the niches larger to accommodate the height of the shampoo bottles. Little things like that really go a long way. And he also took care of some bigger issues. We did not realize that apparently our prior toilet was installed very poorly and was leaking under the floor. I know this created a lot of extra work but he simply handled it without a fuss. I cannot recommend VL Tile enough! For me, one of the worst parts of trying to get stuff done on my house was finding a trustworthy and reliable person to work with and I'm so glad that someone recommended Vitali to us. I really wanted to to hire CA Tile & Granite to install Cambria Quartz as my new kitchen counter…read more "Pavel" (came to my home to measure) and "Rosemary" (helped me choose color in office) were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The price was within my budget, but was still weighing 3 bids. When I delved down the details - per the Cambria Warranty, the material needs to be installed by a "Cambria approved installer" and CA Tile & Granite is NOT listed on the Cambria website (CambriaUSA.com) as an approved installer. To clarify the matter, I called Rosemary and she told me it was because they are a fabricator, but I was puzzled because they were to install the counter too. I felt she was defensive and told me to email her Cambria Representative "Carol", which I did. I was surprised to not hear a response from Carol after 5 days and it would of been nice to hear a follow up from Rosemary too. On Day 6 Rosemary contacted with a phone number for Carol. I was disappointed CA Tile & Granite could not answer my questions from the start and makes me feel hesitant to work with them in the future, in case there was a problem.

I had written a review in March about how the staff was excellent and how they were able to help…read moreyou find matching items quickly. Recently - we ordered something and it had an issue - some mis-communication between me, my tile person and the sales staff and we ended up with the wrong item. Instead of trying to pin fault, Palm tile agreed to swap out our tiles. And when we did a replacement, the manufacturer sent the wrong thing. Since the issue was discovered during the pickup, they took care of the having the replacement delivered. However, during all this - Palm tile did all the right things, kept us in the loop and resolved the issue without causing us any stress. I very much doubt they made any money on our order and I suspect that they actually lost some money on it - but through this whole tile replacement process, they were committed to get us the right product and make us happy. This kind of customer centric focus is amazing and not all stores go to this level. During the order replacement process, we worked with David and he handled the whole thing without giving us any reasons to worry anytime during this process. However, in addition to making sure that our order was fixed, David is also very knowledgeable about the products. We needed something else too and he was very quickly able to suggest something that was a perfect match for what we had communicated as what we wanted. We also wanted a sample of something else and he personally got the sample from us. Overall - very impressed from the selection to the final order. With the experience we had, I would have zero hesitation in recommending Palm tile to anybody!
