Double slider shower enclosure

As a property manager, I work with Roadrunner Glass all the time. These are the two recent shower enclosures I had them install. Stone is very particular and exact when it comes to measuring and installing. Will continue to use them at all properties.

Bought a house in Fremont filled with single pane windows and decided to go with a local company to upgrade to dual pane windows. Found out this company is a FEMALE owned business. Also, a minority owned business. Went into (Newly Remodel) show room and was drawn to Milgard windows (Tuscany series) and the amazing lifetime warranty they carry. The windows came in 2 weeks and installation the following week. The house turned out great! Returned back and upgraded my shower to a frameless shower. Staff is highly knowledgeable in the field and inside the office.

We are very happy that we came to Roadrunner Glass. Veronica was very helpful in explaining what we needed to repair our lock on the sliding glass door. She was able to schedule an appointment the next day for repair. David was wonderful, he was able to troubleshoot the problem, and replace the lock with a few modifications. He was delightful and respectful of our home. If another issue arises or we need window replacement we will go to Roadrunner Glass. Thank you!

Very nice & clean! Just gotta wait 3 hours for the caulking to dry.

Very happy with our new living room window at our apartment, here at Regency Square! First off, loved how the two guys, didn't get there names, but if you recognize them from the picture, they did an amazing job, arrived literally as soon as the office manager said they would.. between 8:30am-5pm. They were knocking on my door at 830am. We're out by 9:30. They did the replacement in a fast and professional manner and made small talk, which is nice! Wish management would get all windows replaced (kitchen and both sliding doors) because our kitchen windows make a horrific noise when opening and closing it! But that's not up to me. But if they do in the future plan too, I hope they hire you Road Runner Glass again. Very happy with the fast service! Thank you.

chris and Migal did professionaly measurements and windows installations, and roadrunner glass give reasonable price efficiently!Like their high quality service, well done guys,Thank you so much!

Office room new construction windows... previously single pane windows. They do not paint, but can recommend if needed.

Highly recommended. Could not have been happier with the team and finished product. Scott, Mark and Manny THANK YOU! We purchased our new construction (not retro fit) windows a year ago and we could not find anyone to install them for over a year. We had several construction people come by and quote us (dramatically over priced) or would not follow up. When Scott showed up he examined all the 10 windows getting replaced, something the other inspectors did not do (surprisingly, but not). His team did a seamless job on the installation and stucco outside. Scott was the only guy I felt comfortable with and trusted doing the job. A family business with great reviews and reputation is hard to come by. When you get work done on your home, you want someone that understands the work and has a good team. I do agree with some reviews, there needs some fixes on the backend, but that does not warrant one star. I review on workmanship, service and the actual job! Not a missed call or a quote off by $25 or someone with a handful of reviews.... get real! As a 2016 elite yelper, trust me when I say these are the guys to go to. My dad is a retired construction manager, I have made several home renovations, so I know a good job when I see it. RRG also does other work aside from glass, just call and see if they can quote you.

Someone broke into our business and smashed the glass door on Wednesday. Called RoadRunner because they were local but were not available until Friday. I'm all for supporting local businesses because we are one as well so we set up the appointment between 11-1pm for that day. Waited 3 days with a shattered front door just to realize how unprofessional they were. They never showed or even had the courtesy to let us know they weren't going to come. It's now Sunday and we're going to look for someone else. Stay away.

Guest bathroom window installed despite being too small.

Loved their customer service. They were nice and informative. I ordered a small tempered glass and didn't think it was costly.

Glass 23

(30 reviews)

To preface: I don't like writing 1 star reviews, but after this entire experience (spanning over…read more2.5 months...) I felt I needed to share. Yelp word count is 5,000 characters..my initial draft was over 15,000, so this is the short version. I was looking to get 3 mirrors replaced (warped mirrors), and to change my shower door into a slider. Ken, owner of Glass23, provided the fastest response and had his employee come out and take measurements. After some back and forth with a few companies, I decided to go with Glass23 based on reviews and cost. This took a nosedive from here. My initial appointment was changed 3 times. Day of, he had forgotten a tool, so the initial ETA was 1.5 hours later. Initially, the job seemed ok, but after some time, I noticed each item had issues: -1st mirror: extra half inch sticking out..not sure if it was due to placement or poor measurement to start -2nd mirror: noticed warping on the new mirror...(super odd, since I was guaranteed there was no chance the new mirrors were going to get warped) -3rd mirror: huge gap behind the mirror, and not enough adhesive -shower slider: only tested a few days later due to adhesive, but the glass door nearly fell off when I used it the first time Communication after the initial install was not good. First half of invoice was paid from start, and he requested the second half to be paid, even with all these issues still outstanding. I ultimately paid it in the hopes that I was going to have all my issues resolved. A lot of back and forth to get the warped mirror replaced by the supplier. 2nd visit: similar issues with timing, and reasons why he was going to be late. He brought the new mirror, but was unable to pry off the "bad" mirror he had installed on. He was concerned that it would break everywhere and used some wood stakes to try to ease the tension...response was to check back in in a few weeks. The shower door issue was that the screws at the top were not tightened. He assumed the manufacturer would have tightened it but didn't check it upon install.. Post 2nd visit comms: After finally using the shower slider, the slider was now leaking a ton of water. Had a lot of towels that I had to keep switching out. 3rd visit: again, same issue. Texted an ETA, but forgot an item so was pushed back. Ended up pulling off the mirror since the wood stakes did nothing (so we wasted 10 days in the hopes that it would come off). Added extra sealant for the shower in the hopes that it would stop leaking. Post 3rd visit: shower slider STILL leaking. Master bedroom mirror gap was so noticeable. Not enough adhesive since I could nearly pull the bottom corner compeltely off. Through texts, he simply mentioned additional adhesive was needed. 4th visit: luckily arrived at the end of the hour window he gave. Adding adhesive to mirror did nothing. Added more sealant to shower and made it look pretty noticeable, and ugly, in the hopes it would stop leaking. Post 4th visit: shower slider still leaking. After some thinking...since the mirror wasn't flushed to the wall, there was still going to be a big gap, so I had requested to get a new mirror (and I noticed there was damage already to the mirror, likely from the wall). I was going to have a handyman come in and fix the wall. After a bit of back and forth, I was given 2 options: partial refund or full refund and he comes to take everything out of my home. I was 100% considering a full refund, but I did not want to schedule another visit...and have no mirrors and no glass for my shower for 4-5 weeks+ as I search for a new company. Ultimately, going for a partial refund to end the business arrangement. What makes me livid, is the fact that he did not admit any fault for a botched job. Multiple times through our texts, the response was: "he was sorry he wasn't able to make things the way I had hoped." I had hoped for a simple mirror replacement and a non-leaky shower without all the issues. This entire process took 2.5 months, which is absolutely ridiculous. I am glad it is finally over. Now, I just have to deal with seeing the issues every day, and ultimately, needing to fix everything when the mirror breaks or when the shower slider leaks a ridiculous amount. Going back, the ideal situation would have been: before blindly installing, I would have liked him to check the wall, and let me know that wall had an issue. I would proceed or wait on install to get it fixed, but give me that choice. For the shower slider, I dont know what went wrong, but my initial shower door had no leaking issues. Even if I was given a full refund and everything stayed at my place, I still wouldn't have been made whole. The amount of time I blocked out for each visit, the number of texts back and forth, and the constant reminder that the mirrors and shower slider was a failed job will continue to bother me until I get it swapped out anyways.

When the installer came, they recognize that the piece of glass that they brought was not the same tent as what was existing. They came back the very next day with a identically tinted glass pane and installed it within an hour. I was very pleased with the expediency and the level of service. I'm saving this sub for future work.

Among all 4…read morecompanies, they were the slowest to respond, which took them overnight while all other 3 companies responded in less than 2 hours. And their response was to ask a bunch of questions such as your name, email, phone number, which for a moment I thought was a spam or phishing. Then another day later I got their email, asking dumb questions that I already stated in the project request. As a benchmark, by this time, I've already thoroughly communicated and discussed my options with all other three companies and obtained price quotes. Almost a day later, Roxy called me and left me a voice mail that they had a few questions. By this time I was totally fed up at their efficiency and process. Learn to do business on the Yelp message platform like all your competitors and respond quicker would be my advice.
