Not sure if my last review went thru so here I go again: I wouldn't use this Co. if it was the only one left in the Hayward Area. After getting a quote to have a window and door replaced($15,500) I tried to contact them several times to discuss their proposal. I stopped by 3 times to discuss the plan. The worker said he would pass on my message to the owners I also attempted several times to reach them via text and email (at least 10 times) to no avail. Must be nice to have so much business you don't have to return calls, text messages or emails read more

Quick, efficient, easy and friendly. I needed a glass top for my coffee table and I called and spoke to RiRi. She promptly emailed me an estimate that came with a link for easy payment. Then I got a call a few days later that the glass was ready an I could set up a time for a free local delivery. The technician, Mike arrived on the delivery date and cleaned and placed the glass for me. He was even so kind as to take measurements for a future service. All in all it was a great experience and I will continue to work with this company. read more

They asked $900 to replace two window 35" by 35" glass. Common sense please. This is too much.

They are very responsive and glass repair professionals. When you have a broken slider you want the job done ASAP and they were on it. I appreciated the rapid response and the also cleaning up the area along with replacing the broken glass with a new one read more

Our sliding glass door up and died. Just stopped sliding. And then a host of other problems. Dave Sanchez from Hayward Glass is who we dealt with. He came out and gave an estimate. Super professional, knowledgeable. The new door took a while to get in stock, but the front office were responsive and helpful. Then the new door came in. Dave showed up with our door, and within 3 hours it was installed, including trim work. Everything so nice! Such a great crew! I am beyond happy with my new door. Five stars but really 10. read more

John and his crew did a great job replacing the window glass for all of the windows in my home! Many other vendors would only offer replacing the whole window completely which was unnecessary. His group were clearly experts at this and were friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Pricing was also competitive compared to others. Overall, would highly recommend them for your glass needs! read more

Really love the customer service of this place and the quality of the work they do. We needed a custom shower glass installed and David came out and came up with a much better design than some of the other places that we talked to and at a reasonable price. I didn't really know exactly what i wanted so he educated me on options - from the handles to the clamps that hold the glass to get the desired aesthetic we wanted. He knows what he is doing and you can tell he has a ton of experience. When a hiccup came up with issues with the glass, John the owner was quick to expedite getting the glass remade and installed in a timely manner. Overall the quality was great and customer service to go along with it. read more

Hayward glass was incredible when I had an emergency repair. I called their after hours line and they were able to fix my window in no time. I wouldn't think twice about using them again. 5/5. read more

I met with David when he came down to measure my front window. He gave me a quote through his office and after I placed my deposit, there has been no response from this company though I have called and emailed them multiple times for an ETA. Point is no one picks up the phone and the Los altos branch number is non responsive as well. I still hope that someone will call me back but at this moment, I have to publicly call out on Yelp that I am trying to cancel my window order read more

Thieves shattered the glass door of our non profit office. We really couldn't afford the replacement, and we were happy to find Hayward Glass. They installed replacement glass for much less than the recommended company our property manager suggested. They did a pro job, cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend them. read more

We requested a quote and a measurement for our shower door and two gentlemen arrived on time as expected. They were both very professional and careful given COVID: they had their masks on and immediately took their shoes off when walking in. They took measurements and looked at the problem we had with the shower door. Needless to say they were extremely honest and helpful and also very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in fixing or repacking their shower doors. The company is very professional and fair - couldn't be happier. Highly recommend! read more

Fantastic job! They had to fix someone else's job, and wow did they come through. Very professional! I was included in every step of the process. Thank you Hayward Glass! read more

Work was great said they would be open on Saturday. I guess you have to knock on the door because the door is locked. Very satisfied with the work. Called back to get some more glass cut spoke to the front desk female and was told I would recieve a call back. Its been 3 weeks and still no call. I took my business elsewhere. read more

I sent a few messages to Hayward Glass via Yelp and John was very prompt to getting back to me and arranging for his team to come out to check out the bathroom glass doors that I needed to replace. Just after 2--3 days, John was able to send his team out to get an exact estimate and provided options to choose from for repairing. John gives fair estimates and no over the top prices. He was very responsive and was quick to action when there were some changes to the scheduling. On the day of the job, his team Dave and another pro was running a bit late but they still managed to finish the job pretty quickly. Overall, the whole job was completed the way it was supposed to be and great service. Thank you John, Dave, and your team for 5 stars service! :) read more

Not very good at getting back to you or following up on a quote. Very passive service. I needed a window replaced. Took two months because they kept loosing the measurements and having to come back out. Then they ordered the wrong glass. Then they came out for installation and brought someone else's glass. I bet they lose a lot of business simply because the office doesn't hustle a little bit more. read more

Service was quick, they cleaned the glass and even the broken remnants of the broken glass' remains. Was a bit expensive but other than that highly recommended for an urgent glass replacement & removal. read more

We were moving out of our home, a lamp fell over and broke the front window. We needed it fixed the next day, our last day in the home. We received crazy high quotes from 2 other companies. This company not only gave us a reasonable price, but was able to repair it next day. Very pleased. Thank you. read more

Replaced broken window for our home at a fair price. Great quality of work, very happy with end product.

Good service, responsive, accommodating and always available to answer my questions. Respectful and people are nice.

I had 2 broken windows that needed to be replaced. I was able to provide photos and a detailed description of the surrounding area of where the repair would take place. I didn't want to assume anything and I know vendors, just like us customers don't like surprises that will increase the price. They were able to provide a general price, then came measured and the actual price was very close to what they quoted. The installer was punctual, well mannered and did an excellent job. I am looking at having them do another project, replacing some front door side panels and a new shower door. read more

Very good quality and service. Daniel came to install the glass door in the rain, the first time the glass door has a little bit leaking problem so they came again the 2nd day to install the glass caulking. read more

Five solid stars. Quick response. Gave you an estimate on Yelp. Very very reasonable price. I would say their price is the lowest. I like this company because they are responsive, good price, professional. They do all the small jobs which make it very easy for us to deal with. I am very happy and please to have found them. I already shared their phone number to my friends and family for their future needs. Thank you John and your staff. read more

The guy that came to my house said that this was his company and yet he sent a couple guys out with the wrong size glass. They had to come back about a month later and had the wrong size again. Then I did not hear from them for about a year every time I tried to contact them and find out what was going on the lady who answers the phone was talking to me like I was interrupting her soap opera and snacks. I am happy to write this review because these companies after taking our money couldn't care less about us. I had broken glass in my house for over a year and a half it was still in the window frame and pieces were popping out onto the floor daily. I have a 6-year-old son read more

I had a great experience working with this company. Great communication with Virjinia throughout the whole process. Price was fair and workers were professional. What more can we ask for? Thank you Hayward glass! read more

I want to thank John and his crew for answering all my questions through email and doing an awesome job! Also, thanks for tips on how to reinstall the window. Being a new resident in east bay and trying to locate a window repair service is insane. Luckily I've been in the trades for several years and know when another tradesman is trying to gouge me on prices. I did save quite a bit by bringing the window frame to John. I was in and out within ten minutes and John offered advice for future window installation that I'm interested in. It's extremely difficult to find honest tradesmen and ones who do quality work! Thanks again for making the transition go smoothly!!! read more

I am so impressed with Hayward Glass company. Their work is superb. I have dealt with other glass companies in the past and never before did I get the professionalism, courtesy and personal commitment as I do with Hayward Glass. They are quick to return calls, get the job done and their prices are very reasonable. John Sanchez, the owner, remembered me from a few years ago on their first job with me. He said, "are you the lady who's dog went through the window?" Yep that was me. He and his staff are so friendly and easy to do business with. I am a female, 73 years old, and so many times contractors, etc. will try to take advantage but not them. Thank you so much, Hayward Glass. read more

Completely satisfied!!! We had an old glass shower door that was overdue to be replaced. When they came to take measurements initially, they gave us advice on what would look good. The installers, Martin and Gabriel were fantastic: prompt, efficient, courteous, and of course, safe - wearing masks the entire time. The new shower door looks great!!! read more

John S. gave a fast response for an estimate and came out the next day! Very impressed how quickly they replaced our 2 windows. I highly recommend this company for your window replacement! A+++ read more

Great customer service from the owner and the workers were knowledgable, speedy, and helpful.
