It took 60 days to get 1 problem fixed that could have been done day one. I sent a certified letter to the CEO of Purdy Group USA in Bryan and the same certified letter to the GM in Huntsville. NOT ONE RESPONSE to the letters. I agreed on a price plus TTL We absolutely no add ons! before I drove 4 hrs. To be there when you opened. You added $995.00 CarRx, $1,000.00 activation fee, $225.00 document fee and $30.00 document fee. That is $2,250.00 Over what I agreed to pay! You may have settled this to your satisfaction but not mine. I will continue to post my review everywhere I can for as long as I can in hopes of saving other people from this. I am also looking into what it takes to file a complaint with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, the Texas Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Better Business Bureau, the Texas Auto Dealers Association, and the Automotive Consumer Action Program--and I will NOT STOP until every single one of them hears about this.

I went into Aggieland Chevrolet excited and ready to purchase a vehicle. After owning my previous…read morecar for over twelve years, I was genuinely looking forward to this experience and expected to drive off the lot in a new vehicle. Instead, I left crying and completely broken. This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything. The main issue was my interaction with Steven, the Finance Director. He was rude, condescending, and dismissive from the beginning. I qualified for a first responder discount, yet he refused to honor it. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he initially refused and stated that he was the boss and that his only boss was his wife. After continued insistence, he eventually agreed to bring over his manager, but not before telling us that we could "just go" and that we were not getting a car from them with a smirk on his face and that there's several other dealerships around. At that point, the damage was already done. The manager did apologize for Steven's behavior and attempted to smooth things over, but the experience had already left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. No customer, especially one ready to make a purchase, should ever be treated this way. Steven should not be interacting with customers at all. Because of this experience, I will never return to Aggieland Chevrolet and will not recommend this dealership to anyone.

I gave him most of the information he needed and was coming in to test drive and potentially purchase it. The one I wanted was sold. But I saw online (with my bank who was looking up budget-friendly deals in my area) that was still available and was the exact price. We weee given to Matthew -intern but seemed somewhat knowledgeable about my wants and needs in a car from Malek. The car was priced lower online. Upon return and haggling for me to use their finance companies (and to see if my bank was one of their. (Yeah, no!) I was approved already and knew what I needed. I was firm. My first offer was $19k (exactly what I saw online). After he saw what I was approved for, the price went up. Dishonor! Again, my bank was on the phone. We agreed to walk away. I never seen a Trax worth $30k. Especially not that one. It didn't have a lot of bells and whistles. So, nope. Always have multiple offers from several dealerships. Use your bank to get approved. Matthew was stunned to watch us leave his "great deal". By the way, I found 5 other dealerships in Texas that aren't afraid of me using my bank and they never increased their prices. Aggieland Chevy, please do better. Honest and integrity... that goes a long way. Try it.

By the next evening (April 8th), I realized the AC didn't blow cold air unless I was driving. The dealership was closed, so I returned first thing on April 9th and spoke with C, the salesperson who sold me the car. He got with the mechanic the next day and told me to make an appointment. They kept my car from that appointment until April 23rd, trying to fix the AC. When I got it back, the issue still wasn't fixed. I returned on April 24th, and even though B initially gave me pushback, they agreed to look at it again. Keep in mind--I had barely driven the car at all, only to and from the dealership. On May 7th, I finally got the car back. Then on May 11th, the dashboard lights came on. I brought it in again, and they told me, "We're a Kia dealership. We don't know how to work on Hondas." They told me I'd have to take it to a Honda dealership and pay out of pocket--after I already paid a $7,000 down payment on a $22,000 car. I don't know much about cars or mileage. I trusted the dealership to sell me a reliable vehicle and to thoroughly inspect it. But now I'm stuck with car issues immediately after purchase and expected to cover repairs. I do have a warranty, but I still have to pay a deposit to use it--on top of everything I've already paid. The economy is hard right now. I'm a single mom. I can't afford these surprise issues and repairs after barely driving the car. And to be told "oh well" is beyond upsetting. Honestly, this feels unethical. It's like they didn't even properly inspect the car before selling it. I feel completely taken advantage of, and I want accountability

We found Sterling Subaru and noticed they had what we were looking for. Outback Touring XT I was hesitate as it's 2 hrs away... What if they were just pulling our leg, or lying or even the vibe being off. (Yes I will not buy a vehicle if there's not a good vibe or if something is just "off") Well I contacted Sterling. Was put in contact with Mr. Conner. I told him what I was interested in. He told me it was in transit and would be here on or around the 19th. (Which was about 10days or so) He had kept in great contact with me...I'm sure I annoyed him with all my questions every so often. But he was a trooper and helped me with everything. The 18th comes around and I get a phone call saying surprise it came in today! Woooo was I excited. Told him I will make it up the following day. (Today) Met Conner and he was just as nice in person as he was over the phone. We did everything we needed to with Conner. He then took us over to meet Mr. Jason for all the financial things. Jason was also so super nice. He answered ever question we had. Got us all ready to go and took us back to Conner which then took us to meet Mr. Matthew also super nice, helped up set up our Starlink and answered all of our questions like a trooper as well. He took us out to the car to explain all the fanciness in there as we didn't know how to use it all. He also gave my dog the cutest Subaru squeak toy...the "Chewbaru" let me tell you she didn't mind that we were away for a while today because she has this toy and has been carrying it around since we've been home. I'm so happy to have found Sterling even though we had to make a 2 hour drive...it was totally worth it and I'd for sure make it again! It was nice to go somewhere and be cared for instead of treating us one way until they get our money then it's ok your done, leave. It wasn't like that at all! They helped us even after the deal was done. They took their time to show us how everything worked and made sure we didn't have any questions about anything before we left. No one really likes car shopping, especially when everything is pushed on you and they make it hectic or try to hide fees and things. Let me tell you, I enjoyed it actually! Everyone is so nice there. Made you feel welcomed and at home. If I had to sum up all of this I'd just say GO TO STERLING AUTO GROUP! Even if you have to drive 2hrs one way!!!!! They are totally worth it. Thank you again for everything Mr. Conner, Mr. Jason and Mr. Matthew!
