These guys are crooks. In the 30 minutes I was their shop I witnessed them quote 2 different people for over 4k in repairs. They mis diagnoses my vehicle twice for thousands of dollars. very expensive and inexperienced. They charged for an evaluation and then over $1k to change a part that had nothing to do with the problem. Then they gave me another quote over the 1k for another part that was not the problem either. I started repairing it myself by searching for solutions on the internet. They charge a fee for the wipes and degreaser they use in the workshop to wash their hands. Avoid this place, they make people stupid by overcharging and talking nice. I came in with a coolant leak in my radiator and a brake light telling me I needed to change my brake pads. I was charged $90 for a coolant pressure test to tell me I needed to change my radiator (which was already obvious) and was charged an hour of labor which is $188 to diagnose the brake light that was clearly stating I needed new brake pads. I took my car to a different mechanic after being charged with telling me what I already knew and left with the same issues and with $350 less after taxes and fees. I got tricked by their friendly customer service but they have no mercy when it comes to charging absurd prices for the most simple things I would not recommend. read more

What's bad is getting overcharged for parts like another reviewer mentioned. $414 for a $186 dollar alternator. We will not be patronizing this shop any longer. The starter was going on my 2000 4Runner. The Toyota dealer in Bryan wanted over $800 to fix it, after charging me TWICE to run the SAME diagnostic two times in one month to diagnose the same problem ($89 x 2). I've always had Toyota do my repairs for 18 years, but for the first time ever I felt like I was being taken advantage of by a Toyota dealership (other Toyota dealerships in other states have never charged to run a diagnostic on my vehicles). B&B replaced my starter for just under $400 (less than half of what Toyota was going to charge). As a young woman in college, I often feel uneasy about searching out auto services, considering the many times I have been overcharged and taken advantage of for my minimal car knowledge. But after my stellar experience, I absolutely recommend B&B to my friends. I had an older car and I had to get my front headlight fixed, which required an auto specialist, as my bumper had to be taken completely off which required special tools. I tried to do it on my my own, but I didn't have the right tools and I am confident that I could've easily caused more damage. I called several places and asked for quotes before I made an appointment with B&B. They gave me a quote for the parts and the labor, and ended up charging me LESS than originally quoted because the job didn't take the full hour of labor. The crew was very nice and polite. I am a student in College Station, and I didn't have a reliable car mechanic here. I found B&B online with great reviews, and I thought they were a reliable and honest automotive shop. I am a young girl, so it's pretty difficult to find a shop that will give me a fair price. I needed to get my left wheel bearing replaced and B&B was asking for $1350. This seemed extremely overpriced for such a minor fix, so I took my car to a different shop where they offered the exact same product and service for $430. We were charged a diagnostic fee which was not disclosed up front and their estimate for needed repairs was about $500 higher than other shops and did not have to be done. When I first heard the roar in my minivan, I thought it was the tires. I drove right over to B&B, and thankfully, Kenny was not busy. He immediately hopped in to drive the vehicle in order to listen himself. He heard the roar and thought perhaps it was bearings and was willing to look at it right away. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a little more expensive in that it was the belt tensioner, so the serpentine belt had to be replaced as well. However, the guys at B&B didn't hesitate to help out, diagnose the problem and repair it. It might have been costly, but I know the work was done well and there is a guarantee/warranty that will protect me if I should have any more problems. I had an issue with my pickup. Could have been major wasn't sure only knew truck started getting hot and leaked all the coolant out. Called up B&B after reading reviews on a Friday mid morning. They were able to see my truck same day, by the time I had it towed there it was after 1100. Within an hour I had an email detailing the inspection they performed of entire truck complete with photos of each component and a video of where the problem was. Included in the email was the solution to my problem and other suggested maintenance items for correction with a message to call Gary to discuss costs. Like many reading this I knew I needed to get ready to haggle. So I researched pricing and methods of replacing for main problem then reviewed suggestions to be able to counter any argument and called Gary. After pleasantries, which is appreciated, we got down to business he explained what I had read about main concern and cost to repair. He quoted me very close to my estimate I was pleased. Then he asked if I had reviewed the suggestions, I had and inquired about the cost of the only one I was ready to have done, quoted another good price and then Gary shocked me, he thanked me for choosing them and that they'd try to get it out before the day was over. True to his word by 1600 I was picking up my truck. Also he tossed in hand sanitizer, free car wash, keychain and snack box. Great work, fast , guarantee their work. Will used them for all needs. Scheduled Maintenance with oil and filters changed. On May 22, 2017 I scheduled a time to bring my truck to B and B for Maintenance with the oil and filters changed. I arrived on the 23rd at 8AM and withing 30 minutes my truck was ready and the service was excellent. I was also given a heads up on necessary maintenance that will be required in the near future as well as later in the year but with the suggestion of what to watch for. The service as I've mentioned was excellent: fast, friendly, professional, thorough and reasonable. I highly recommend B and B! read more

Bad repair shop. My son going to A&M took his vehicle in to have it repaired. Quote $1,200 to repair oil pan. After replacing it the engine still had no oil pressure. They recommended replacing the oil pump(Quoted another $1,000). At this point, I drove down from Dallas picked up the vehicle and took it our normal mechanic. They told us the vehicle didn't need an oil pump. They told us the work on the oil pan was not acceptable work. They fixed the pickup tube and properly installed the oil pan. The car is working again with no issues. Stay away from this shop. read more

This place was able to get me in a whim on a very short notice and they were the kindest people I've met at an Automotive shop. My car tire blew ,due to a nail,and to get it fixed I had to get someone to fix it. Unfortunately one of the bolts had to be broken. I had the spare put on but little did I know that it was also very low on air and due to the bolt being gone it was wobbling like crazy. I came in panicked and shaking due to the fact that was car was also shaking violently because of the spare. When making it to B&B they helped me calm down and offered me a drink and talked to me while I was calming down. They got me immediately and kept me updated on the whole process. I actually ending up having two holes in two tires and they managed to fix both of my tires, saving me the expense of two new tires, and replaced the broken bolt and one that was about to go bad. After about 2 hours my car was done and fixed. I couldn't have asked for better service. They even left me a little goody box inside my car. I will definitely be going back to this place for future car troubles. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. read more

I nearly purchased a 2004 MINI Cooper S from Buddy's Automotive Concepts LLC.First off, the asking price for this vehicle WAS & IS $8995 although it has w/122,042 miles on it the VIN is WMWRE33494TD80601.I am so relieved I took it to B&B Automotive for a lookover before purchasing. Grant (awesome mechanic) found as follows: Struts are leaking & popping. Bad sensors for dash indicators ( re:oil guage, brakes, tire air pressure, etc) indicating elecrical issues. Drive belt has chunks out of it & is about to break. Oil cooler is leaking where it mounts to engine block. Lastly he found that the horn doesn't work. I noticed that the stereo is just sitting in unmounted & rattles around loudly. When I returned to the lot & told them what was discovered... Suprise, they weren't suprised. Best $40 I ever spent. I purchased a 2009 MINI Cooper S Clubman at Gillman Subaru in Houston with only 9,298 miles on it & in perfect condition for $7995!!!!! Thank You Grant & the B&B team! read more

Absolutely stellar service! The owner takes pride in his shop and helped us every step along the way while getting our tire fixed. They also have a great little system set up where after they've done a diagnostic and figure out what the problem is with your car, they send you a link to a diagnostic report with detailed pictures that highlight exactly what the issue is.
