We picked up the car to take to another shop and didn't make it half a mile before my son pulls over. The engine light was on and it had no power (we didn't drop it off in this shape). We called and were told they only pulled spark plugs to diagnose (for nearly 200 when we already told them the problem) and said it was coincidence. The new shop said they cracked a spark plugs when they put it back in. This is the 2nd time I've had issues and wouldn't recommend for so much as an oil change.

She drove the Jeep back to Baton Rouge and we took it to a shop here and they ran some test and determined it was a faulty sensor. They replaced it and have had zero problems. UNREAL. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THESE PEOPLE. I dropped the car off and Phillip greeted me and I gave him a list of all of the things I thought were wrong with my vehicle. He immediately weeded out some of my concerns which was great. Chris, one of the leads, took control of fixing my car and did a wonderful job. I asked him on the phone if he could show me how he fixed my vehicle and he put the car on the lift and showed me everything. He even showed me some broken parts he had thrown in a box. I would trust these guys with my vehicle again for sure. A synthetic oil change was a little over $100 and there was a 3.5% fee for cards. While some things were expensive, others were surprisingly cheap (disposal fees, labor, etc.). Give these guys a try!

The reviews for that business was 4.5 stars. Well needless to say this supposedly reputable business turned out to be nothing more than the usual auto repair hustlers. They wanted to charge more than a dealership to repair the car. When I called them out on it, of course the hustlers came up with we have to take the motor out to replace a starter. I even offered to pay them what the dealership had quoted me. They declined the offer. I then contacted Pickups Plus and spoke to Blake. I told him the situation with the car, told him I was out of state and needed a quote to replace the starter. Blake's quote came back $100 under the dealership and $155 under the hustlers. I had the car picked up from Sevcik's Service Center 2200 Longmire Drive College Station, TX 77845 and towed to Pickups Plus. Blake had my daughters car up and running a few hours later. I originally asked them to coordinate with a dealership in Navasota, TX, to perform a pre-sale inspection. They did inform me of a Check Engine light, but told me it was related to a faulty hood latch. This turned out not to be the issue. Instead, it actually deals with the Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR)/NOx reduction system reporting levels below acceptable levels. While I can't specifically prove that they were derelict in their diagnosis, I find it hard to believe that they didn't catch this issue. I bought an OBD II scanner on Amazon and discovered the problem right away. They were professional and courteous, which should me lauded, but I'm still disappointed this issue wasn't caught during the inspection.
