I went into Aggieland Chevrolet excited and ready to purchase a vehicle. After owning my previous car for over twelve years, I was genuinely looking forward to this experience and expected to drive off the lot in a new vehicle. Instead, I left crying and completely broken. This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything. The main issue was my interaction with Steven, the Finance Director. He was rude, condescending, and dismissive from the beginning. I qualified for a first responder discount, yet he refused to honor it. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he initially refused and stated that he was the boss and that his only boss was his wife. After continued insistence, he eventually agreed to bring over his manager, but not before telling us that we could "just go" and that we were not getting a car from them with a smirk on his face and that there's several other dealerships around. At that point, the damage was already done. The manager did apologize for Steven's behavior and attempted to smooth things over, but the experience had already left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. No customer, especially one ready to make a purchase, should ever be treated this way. Steven should not be interacting with customers at all. Because of this experience, I will never return to Aggieland Chevrolet and will not recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

I was advised not to patronize this dealership. But I had a previous good experience with Aggieland Chevrolet and I wanted to buy local so I went. I should have heeded the warning. I had no complaints regarding the sales part of the experience, although afterward, I received no response to a question emailed to my salesperson. But the real. unpleasantness began when I walked into the office of the finance person. I wasn't given any greeting by Lucas. And we'd never met before so I was taken aback when the first thing he said was "well, are you going to keep this one longer than two years?" (my trade in was a 2024). It was not a joke. In fact, he was completely silent throughout the approximately 6 minutes I was in his office, except for the recitation of the extended warranty which he did not sell me. Likewise, when the transaction was completed, there was no handshake, no pretense of courtesy. Just rude silence. Maybe that is the way he treats all female senior citizens. A day later, I ordered a cargo shade for my new vehicle and when I went to pick it up, I got the same treatment at the parts department. No greeting, no offer to help me carry a rather large box out to my car. I've learned my lesson. I will not return to this dealership. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because of a satisfactory sales experience. read more

I'm sure that it would have been 5 stars with my original sales person: Malek. We have been consistently working on a deal for a Chevy Trax LT. I gave him most of the information he needed and was coming in to test drive and potentially purchase it. The one I wanted was sold. But I saw online (with my bank who was looking up budget-friendly deals in my area) that was still available and was the exact price. We weee given to Matthew -intern but seemed somewhat knowledgeable about my wants and needs in a car from Malek. The car was priced lower online. Upon return and haggling for me to use their finance companies (and to see if my bank was one of their. (Yeah, no!) I was approved already and knew what I needed. I was firm. My first offer was $19k (exactly what I saw online). After he saw what I was approved for, the price went up. Dishonor! Again, my bank was on the phone. We agreed to walk away. I never seen a Trax worth $30k. Especially not that one. It didn't have a lot of bells and whistles. So, nope. Always have multiple offers from several dealerships. Use your bank to get approved. Matthew was stunned to watch us leave his "great deal". By the way, I found 5 other dealerships in Texas that aren't afraid of me using my bank and they never increased their prices. Aggieland Chevy, please do better. Honest and integrity... that goes a long way. Try it. read more

Couldn't see the car my daughter had been given an "appointment" to see even though we arrived on time and had been texted 1 hour prior to the appointment confirming it was there. She drove 3 hours to see this vehicle. Upon arrival we discovered that our salesperson "Clint" was tied up (I believe Clint is a bot, so beware when the guerilla salemen pounce on you when you arrive) had sold the car right before we walked in. Then we get ram rodded with trying to purchase one of the NEW vehicles on the lot. We had driven far so we considered it, but when offered 4K for our trade in (which should have been at least 6K as blue book is 11500 trade in value) they then marked the new vehicle up 4K...hmmm. Oh well DO NOT GO HERE, shady from the jump. OBTW we went elsewhere and got the deal we wanted and fit my daughters budget, and 8K for her Mercedes trade in and a fair list with no upcharges at the 11th hour. The salesperson was also rude and demeaning basically telling my daughter (who is a high school teacher) that she just doesn't make enough money to buy a new car. TERRIBLE read more

UPDATE: the dealership found my sunshade the next day. Service Manager Daryl called me and apologized profusely. I asked if I could still have the free oil change and he agreed. My property was returned to me. I then also received a phone call from the General Manager Greg Gunn. He also apologized and explained how it never should have happened. We had a pleasant 12 minute conversation that ended on good terms. This issue was taken care of appropriately. read more

Poor customer service. I had a scheduled appointment at 8:00 AM to have the brakes checked on my car. This is the second time I have had problems with why brakes and the car is only two years old with less then 15,000 miles. In addition, my car was due for an oil change and I had a coupon. I asked the service rep if I could use the coupon for my car and I was told yes. I never received a call about the status of my vehicle and I had to call them. The service rep told me my car was ready and when I showed up, I was told I couldn't use the coupon. They never called my to let me know this and only told me this after the oil change. They should have honored the coupon since that is what I was told. Also, I was informed that they didn't have a technician available to look at my brakes which is why I brought the car in to begin with. Then they proceed to tell me that the vibrations I was experiencing during braking was most likely due to aggressive driving. This is what they told me without even looking at the issue. My car is a daily driver and not only that, it has performance brakes that should handle my "aggressive" driving. I will never take my car back to this dealership for service nor would I ever buy another vehicle from this dealership. read more

I brought my 2015 Chevrolet Colorado in fro have two recalls handled: 1. Undersized trailer hitch ( factory installed) 2. Power steering assist They fixed the power steering issue. It was simple... fast. The incorrect trailer hitch which was installed by Chevrolet, they refused informing me that the warranty on their mistake had expired. Really?? Next issue, I made an appointment for 7:30. I waited and waited for a phone call to let me know my truck was ready. Never came. Just before 5:00 I called them I took my 2015 Chevrolet Colorado in to have two factory recalls taken care of; The first recall notice concerned and improperly sized trailer hitch, the second recall notice was for power steering controls. The trailer hitch issue had been present since the time I purchased the truck from this dealership and I attempted to have it corrected one time and asked if I could wait for it to be completed. They said the time could not be estimated and said I would have to leave the vehicle I decided against doing so and did not have the hitch repaired on that occasion. Now that I had to recall notices I scheduled an appointment for 7:30 in the morning brought my vehicle in and the service representative said they would not repair the hitch because the factory defect warranty was now expired. It sure seems odd to me that a factory issued defect would expire. At least I was able to have the power steering controls corrected a job which probably took them 30 minutes or less. Somehow they managed to drive my truck for 16 miles during the timeframe in which they had it in their possession. Correcting the power steering did not require a test drive yet somehow they drove it for 16 miles. As I said originally I brought the vehicle in for a scheduled appointment at 7:30 they only corrected the minor issue with the power steering controls and never bothered calling me to let me know my vehicle was complete - they told me they would call. At about 5 o'clock I called them and they informed me yes indeed it was ready. Why no notification? I didn't notice the last issue until I got home. As I said, the only thing they did was fix the power steering connector, a very minor piece of work. For some reason they drove my vehicle for 16 miles. They couldn't call me to let me know my vehicle was ready and somehow they put 16 miles on it. read more

Had a broken part on a 2010 Avalanche. Ordered replacement from online site, not the exact fit. Pin connector for wire bundle not the same,...other small details too. Called two Chevy dealer parts departments in Houston. gave me the "should be" part number, but no reason the OEM part wouldn't fit. Called Aggieland and talked to Sam. Sam took the time to search his sources and found our part was from an Escalade, used as a replacement by the previous owner. (similar enough to fit both vehicles). Ordered and installed the part,...all works as advertised. Thank you Sam for your patience and diligence in finding out why OEM wouldn't fit, and for getting us the correct part. read more

I was in town for a college visit with my son and ended up with a dead battery. I called the dealership and the gentleman was extremely polite but informed me it could take several hours because they were very busy. We went ahead and drove to the dealership and we're pleasantly surprised. The advisor that greeted us was extremely polite and understanding that we still had a campus tour to attend. They got the battery replaced and my car completely checked out in less than 30 minutes. This was by far the best dealership experience that I have ever had! I would highly recommend servicing your vehicle here. read more

Service dept misdiagnosed my truck and refused to fixed it. Would not honor warranty on the new truck.

i wouldn't recommend no one to ever take their vehicle to this horrible dealership... the so called technicians there are i was blatantly lied to several times about what was wrong with my truck. the technicians lied about driving my truck for 30 miles after a repair, subsequently that was not true. if in fact the technician did drive it he would have noticed the front passenger tire was shaking horribly!!! my truck has been to this dealership over 4 times within 4 months i have received nothing but deception from the service department and the technicians are no good!!! the turbo was replaced, had to bring it back the next day due to the service light coming on!!! the def tank got replaced had to bring it back again, allegedly the exhaust went bad had to bring it back the next day, allegedly the egr valve went bad had to bring it back the next... if you will notice i have not had my vehicle in my possession within 24 hours due to the service lights coming on. the last time i brought it back i was told the technicians drove it for 30 miles and it's working fine. i picked it up noticed the terrible shake and called back, but was lied to again that the technician drove it but no one could get this technician to admit he drove it. the next day the service light came on along with another notification stating it's in reduced power mode. took it back to the dealership now after almost 3 weeks of being at the dealership today they're telling me it's going to cost 3,500 to fix it... it's been over 10,000 worth of repairs and their technicians have not repaired my truck... it is some scamming going on obviously and i think this technician is not certified or qualified if my truck keeps breaking down every time im told its fixed... i do not recommend anyone to take their vehicles to this horrible, no good terrible dealership read more
