Most of the cost of repairs were for diagnostics (new fee each time despite a repeat of the same issues) and labor --- always quoting the highest end of the range of repair time for installation of new parts at $199+ per hour of labor. All this may have been acceptable if service was diligent and customer focused, but this was not the case. First repair involved a replacement part that Leith Nissan (LN) said was out of stock with no ETA for getting it in. They said the car was unsafe to drive, so we would be without it indefinitely with no solutions offered. We took it upon ourselves to seek the part, quickly finding it (for 40% less) at a dealer in Texas who shipped to us for free. We also found out from Nissan that due to no central availability of the part, we could have gotten a free loaner for a period of time. LN neither offered to source the part via other dealers, nor the loaner option through Nissan. On the third repair, despite an early a.m. appointment on day 1, the vehicle was not looked at until day 2. Repairs were authorized and parts expected on day 3. On day 4 we received a message that an incorrect part was ordered or received, and that repairs would be completed on day 5. Day 5 came and went with no contact from LN; upon reaching out to them on day 6 they got back to us and we were told a needed part was further delayed until day 9. Over a week without use of our car because they could not get two hoses replaced in that time and didn't bother to communicate along the way. Keeping the LN service manager abreast all along this series of events resulted in nothing more than the replies they give to the negative reviews on this site --- 'your feedback is important, we strive for excellent service, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry'. Politely ineffective is the kindest thing I can say about our interactions with this group. We now have a new car outside the Leith/Holman Group network and are delighted to be done with this dealer and service department.

Johnson Lexus Durham service used to extremely reliable (barring one past episode 5 years ago)- I actually took my car for 10 years to the same service specialist. However, my recent experience has me rethinking... They incorrectly failed my 2015 Lexus on the state inspection - tire tread was 2.3 as reported by them, while low from a safety standpoint, it is not a failure by state inspection (which is at less than 2), they required replacing four tires at $1340. Which is $445 above Costco charges. Secondly the rear 12v lighter wasn't working, it was a fuse that is easily accessible they put in a charge for $120 and had told me some sort of fusible link - I didn't know what that meant initially I approved it and upon further research and their own invoice said it was a fuse. Those fuses are cheap and easily accessible and shouldn't require 1 hour of labor. Old Lexus used to do this sort of service complementary sometimes. There were multiple errors that seemed to be designed to give them more money, and I am wondering if service management has changed that pushes for more revenue and profitability margin than serving the customer. While they corrected both of these errors and reversed $120 charge and redid inspection and passed without tires having to be changed. I hope they improve and not continue this path - this is path that Honda Durham was on and I moved on from that brand. I was planning on purchasing an RX-350 due to comfort and ease of servicing with Lexus as well as the vehicles, but has me rethinking if I should go all electric with Rivian R2 instead in the future. Oh, BTW, what is that flange you ask, that was just non-existing fusible links in modern cars - its joke for that have seen old Seinfeld episode :-)

Our first purchase here was actually a few years ago but a most recent NON INFINITI used car purchase here moved me to review. We had a specific set of criteria we needed in order for them to secure our sale and each need was met. Eventually the car we ended up with was at another dealer but they arranged to bring it over in a timely manner. It was better than what I expected! I was impressed that I was not up-sold or talked into considering a different vehicle. I received the same outstanding, kind customer service I did on my previous visit when I got an Infiniti. I have recommend this dealership to friends and family and they have reported back the same great experience.

Service Department has absolutely horrible issues…read more Lied and told us that after inspecting, and taking pictures, the diagnosis was pan gasket leak. A different shop told us that there is no transmission pan gasket leak, there are four cv boots on the front and the rear axles that were responsible for leaking the fluid and they needed to be replaced. We'll never go back there again. The service manager, Alex, is a joke.

I went to a different German car shop said the engine was seized and couldn't be fixed, just replaced. It felt like they were more interested in buying the car for $500 than getting me on the road. That was weird and I wanted a second opinion and contacted Euro-Motion, speaking with Fabi. He managed my case from start to finish, walking me through what my options were to get back on the road, providing details and photographs, and patiently answering my questions. They worked with me to figure out a solution to rebuild the top end, rather than a full engine replacement. Then they tested and recommended a rear main seal replacement to make sure the engine stayed in working order! Fabi kept me updated every step of the way and was able to provide answers same day. For great expertise with VWs, transparent quotes and diagnostics, and great customer service, I highly recommend Euro-Motion. Ask for Fabi, he'll treat you fair and honest.

Her car developed an antifreeze leak while she was at school. The repair shop knew that I was in New York and that my daughter was in Raleigh, so I had to handle everything from a distance. They charged us about $4600 for what they said was the cause of the leak. I paid the bill, and my daughter picked up the car the next day. Unfortunately, the car still had the exact same leak. The shop then tried to charge us an additional $2,700 to fix the problem. I was extremely frustrated because I had already paid $4600 for a repair that apparently did not fix the leak. Being out of state made the situation even more difficult, and I felt like they took advantage of the fact that I was not there in person. I expected the original repair to solve the problem, not to be faced with another $2,700 charge the very next day. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. I strongly suggest getting a second opinion and a written estimate before authorizing expensive repairs
