We visited English Body Works later in the day and even though it said appointments needed for…read moreestimates, we walked in anyway and were welcomed by the owner and his daughter. We explained that a 3'x4' piece of plywood flew out of the back of a hauling truck on the Chesapeake Expressway and hit our front windshield on the passenger side and then flipped and sheared off our passenger side mirror. Even though we hadn't asked for a formal estimate, they went outside and took a look at our car and then started making calls to see if they could locate the parts. They went out of their way to help us. So, they replaced the windshield and the side mirror and they both look/work great. We couldn't be happier with the quality of service that we received. They went above and beyond for us. Thanks so much!

Trying to be fair and balanced with this review. Dorn's was my only option in VA and is over 2…read morehours away. I dropped off my vehicle on Aug 8th and had to uber to Enterprise rentals. My Rivian R1S had a fist sized dent in the rear bumper that I was told would take "1-2 weeks" to repair. I was asked to give them $1,000 up front to pre-order the parts. OK. After the first week I called to see when I could pick it up to find they were waiting on insurance to approve their supplemental work and parts list, totaling over $17,000. No work being done and no notifications or calls. Insurance approved 30 days of car rental. I got my vehicle back today and had to pay $900 in rental fees because it took over 6 weeks to complete the work. They blamed insurance (probably a factor) They blamed Rivian for back ordered parts (perhaps) and had to "re-order" some parts during assembly (no explanation) I paid another $1,500 (deductible) and they were going to withhold delivery because GEICO owed them another $1,700. I was less than gracious at this point and they finally agreed to ship the vehicle (as long as I agreed to pay the $1,700 if GEICO doesn't). Communication was reactive, only becoming proactive after my multiple complaints and emails. All staff were respectful and professional in responding (even when I wasn't) and the actual work itself and detailing were very good. Would I use them again? No. Do Rivian owners in VA have other options... No. I suspect they overinflated the repair costs to GEICO leading to unnecessary and frustrating delays. I can't prove that. If Insurance wasn't involved, would this cost $17,000 to GEICO and me $3,400? Over $20K! I doubt it. They recommended I use insurance and I guess I know why! They did deliver the vehicle saving me 5 hours of round trip driving.

I took my luxury vehicle to Owen's Auto Detailing for an exterior ceramic coating and interior seat…read morecoating, and I'm honestly blown away by the results. My car has never looked this good. It literally shines even better than when it was just off of the showroom floor... I'm not even kidding! From the moment I arrived, Matthew was welcoming, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time explaining every step of the process and made sure all of my questions were answered. His communication was top-notch, and I really appreciated the care and attention he put into the entire experience. The quality of work is phenomenal, and the level of customer service is something you rarely find these days. His shop was very clean. He walked us around and even explained some of his other services, like a new car tint that really keeps out the heat. I'll be back for that. If you're looking for luxury auto detailing that lives up to its name, this is the place. Worth every penny. Thank you Owen's Car Detailing!

Wow! Owens Detailing is freaking amazing!! Here's my story…read more So, my car got destroyed by a huge local construction company. They sprayed my truck with cement or mortar and it dried for a few days and became solid. They called a detailer (I wish I remembered the business name.) that came to the office and attempted to clean the cement off my trucks paint. In the process he scratched my pristine waxed and ceramic coated paint beyond comprehension. I was fuming! The construction company then contacted Owens Detailing. Matt came out and took care of all the vehicles affected and did fabulous but hard work, but he always had a smile. My truck was separate because of the circumstances. So I took my truck to his shop and he did miracles. He is a freaking magician! Most of the scratches the other detailer created were buffed out and the glass finish on my truck was amazing!! He took about 2 days meticulously buffing out my truck and then he added a ceramic product by Feynlab that truly amazed me. Everytime I touch my truck it feels like a smooth and creamy surface. It's hard to describe. Thank you so much for the professional hard work you did to bring my truck back to looking it's best. I highly recommend Owens Detailing.
