Well, I would said the experience is way beyond the expectation. Usually the facial salons in Flushing focus on plastic injections or plastic surgery, which are risky and pricy. But If you look for routine skincare facials and a laser treatments, RM Aromatherapy&Skin Care is the best in that area! They have plenty of treatment designed for different skin types. I saw that this place had good reviews on Yelp and gave it a try since they had HydraFacials available. I've been interested in HydraFacials since seeing how it extracts dead skin and dirt. I was late to the appointment due to inconsistent delays on the 7 train to Flushing. Thankfully they were able to call ahead of time to confirm if I was still coming and to accommodate the reservation. Once I walked in, I was guided to a private room where I could change out of my clothes. The blanket they put you in is so warm...almost like sherpa wool. The esthetician began prepping my skin with warm steam and some products. It was quite calming! As for the HydraFacial technology, it was not as scary as I expected. It was like tiny sucking motions across the face. I wasn't able to see the product afterwards but I'll definitely ask for it next time :) Afterwards I was treated to a manual extraction of blackheads and whiteheads. This part hurt a bit since I have sensitive skin. The next section felt like mask after mask. Each mask/product smelled great and it was really relaxing. I remember receiving head, shoulder, and back massages during the masks. My face felt super hydrated and tight at the end of the facial. It was a bit red and swollen from the extractions, but it went away the next day (today). My face is super soft and tight today! I usually have a bit of redness in my cheeks that was drastically minimized the moment I woke up! The good thing about this place is that it seems to always offer some kind of discount either via Yelp or in-person. While the HydraFacial is $168, I was able to snag a discounted price for subsequent visits. I had a great time so I decided to purchase a few more visits and I'm excited to come back :) read more

I went for the first time today using a Groupon. The location is in the heart of downtown Flushing. It might be hard to find because it's on the 9th floor of a business building. As soon as you step in the suite, it is a calming and chic atmosphere. The massage itself was also great, good pressure and she asked if there was any part in particular I wanted work on. The massage included hot stones, heat lamp, hot towels and moisturizer. I would definitely consider coming back. Taking 1 star off because the door to my massage room was thin and I could hear people talking loudly right outside. *Pregnant at 6 months and needed lashes done on a Friday afternoon* I cannot praise this establishment enough. I am beyond satisfied with the results of my eyelash extensions and manner in which they provided my services. Upon arrival I was greeted by two employees who were very polite and assisted me right away. This is only my 2nd time getting my lashes done and it blew the other location out of the water. The young lady at the front desk and lash specialist explained everything to me very clearly without pushing upgrades or additional purchases on me. They weren't just trying to make a sale but rather make a client for life. The owner of the establishment also walked in and helped with the consultation to ensure that I'll be getting what I want. During my procedure, I had gotten so uncomfortable (restless legs at 6months pregnant). Rather than have me feel like I was a burden or hassle to deal with they sent in a masseuse! I was able to lay still for the rest of my procedure and tipped them for such wonderful service. I got an eyeline tatto done by Ssissi. I did a lot of research before coming here. I am really very happy with the result. Tattoo was done on the waterline which made my eyes look bigger, wider which can't be done using an eyeliner without smudging and fading. Ssissi has very steady hands, good eye for seeing what type of shape and design is right for the person. The place was also very clean, tranquil and they use the most recent technology for facials so I knew I was in good hands. Came here on a Groupon deal for a 60min facial. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. Extractions were also not too painful and I left with my skin feeling hydrated. I also had lash extensions on and my beautician brushed them out for me after the facial was over, which was kind of her. My only complaint was that I purchased a Groupon for a "customized facial" but throughout the whole facial I didn't get any feedback on the condition of my skin or what products were being used on my skin. I found this place on Yelp after not having done a facial in years and deciding to treat myself to one. They had a discounted rate on their customized facial treatment so I chose that one. It was an hour of pure bliss and pampering. The beautician explained each product as she applied it. The massage was so relaxing as well - thankfully it was done after the painful extraction (no pain no gain). They did an amazing job filling in the gaps and the eyelashes stayed on for really long.
