This pizza is really the best pizza I have ever had. The toppings are loaded, the crust is great. The sauce (while not even a big fan of pizza sauce) is on point. The ambiance is whatever; really small inside with an older big screen TV and video games. Really though, you're going for the pizza! Average priced, but its definitely worth it. Don't judge a book by its cover. The area and the outside doesn't scream classy, and at first looks the inside doesn't either. But you will forget about that once you start grubbing! The pizza was generous in toppings and flavor. they had garlic butter crust and we tried it on one of the pizzas we ordered. it was very tasty. the 'Chubbies" were pretty great. Cheese and Pepperoni stuffed crust sticks oven baked and damn good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They seemed very willing to make us happy customers. The restaurant itself is a bit of a mess. it's old and dated, the furnishings don't seem to fit but they're in there anyway. There is an outside patio area out back that has only one table and doesn't seem very inviting. If they could only remodel this place would be a gold mine. read more

Ordered delivery from them, Mario who delivered my pizza was awesome. Super nice guy, even hooked me up with an extra sauce and Chubby stick! Pizza was on par with some of the best I've had in the area. Toppings on pizza were amazing, more than ample, good ratio of sauce to cheese and toppings, crust was cooked right, not too chewy or to hard. Chubby sticks do match the hype, I could probably live off those things. Even brought one to work with me the next day and everyone couldn't stop asking about what it was and how great it looked. The staff I spoke with on the phone was very nice. My pizza got delivered within the time they said it would be. I gave it only four stars because the pizza was super greasy, if they could make it less greasy it would be awesome pizza, and when it was delivered it was nice and hot. Overall if they eased up on the grease. I would order from them again. If not, then I mostly likely won't order from here again because, unfortunately, now I have heartburn from the grease, lol. Rizza's is a modest joint that serves delicious pizza, chubbies and salad (that's all we tried so far). The pizza and chubbies were piping hot and filled our car ride home with intoxicating smells of butter, garlic and cheese. The anti pasta salad was super fresh, crisp and filled to the brim. Rizza is amazing. That's all there is too it. Mario uses quality ingredients. The place is a little rough around the edges, but once you taste their food you won't mind. The crust is well balanced and holds it's own with the toppings. The cheese is some of the best I've had. This is the best pizza in Upland, I frequently order the medium pizza special, it comes with chubbies! What are Chubbies you might ask, they are a cross between cheese bread and garlic bread with cheese and either pepperoni or sasuage on them, they come with pizza sauce for dipping, if you have not tried them you are really missing out! So in my opinion, this place has great pizza for a great price, the people are always friendly, the price is right and my order is always on time and cooked perfectly. My favorite pizza in the Inland Empire and the chubby stix are awesome! Thick toppings, great crust and tons of flavor. The service can be hit or miss when they get slammed for orders and the location is a hole in the wall but the pizza and chubs have kept us coming back for years. I've gotten to know the owner over the years and I can see how some people may think he's a bit rough but I have found him to be a really great guy trying his best to make it work. I was hoping to try this place out. Vegan friendly (per reviews), local Upland business, I'm all about it. Unfortunately, the gentleman who answered the phone was not only unfriendly but just provided poor customer service. I am not writing this review to hurt the business, I'm actually hoping they read this and realize every interaction is an opportunity to create a new customer or to really turn someone off. I am a rational, flexible person who works in customer service daily. If you can't help me now, totally fine, but don't tell me all of your problems and basically brush me off and tell me to call "later" when I'm trying to place a costly order.
