They also have a decent selection of beers to choose from, in case wine isn't your thing. There is both indoor and outdoor seating for whatever your preference is. The patio is well-covered, so if anyone is trying to stay out of the sun, they've thought of that. Kelly took care of my friend and I, as we decided to go to Claremont instead of braving the crowds at The Upland Lemon Festival this past Sunday. Kelly was an absolute ray of sunshine and took great care of us. We spent a good amount of the afternoon chilling on their patio sipping on Sangiovese, and snacking on the Corn & Tortilla Dip, as well as the Pork Belly appetizer. All were wonderful! NOTE: For the next month or two, their menu will be slightly limited, as they are renovating their kitchen. There's still PLENTY of great stuff to choose from and enjoy, though.

A month later …read more... Officially a regular at Grafted Cellars. Obsessed with every edible item on their menu so I'm here on a weekly basis. Omar the bartender is still as wonderful as Day One. I was finally able to figure out his last name. (It wasn't given out willingly and he made me guess after dropping a single hint). Will be on my way to collect my free bottle of wine for the month of June. Grafted Cellars is such a lovely place. I've met new friends as well as reunited with old ones. So glad I've found a place to be able to call "my hangout".

Rich, velvety, and deeply savory. The pizza had a beautifully crisp crust with that satisfying crunch along the edges, yet still tender inside. The pasta was perfectly al dente with excellent bite. The white sauce was creamy and full-bodied without being runny, coating each strand evenly. The red sauce struck a lovely balance between acidity and sweetness -- bright but not sharp. The stuffed mushrooms were especially juicy and flavorful, releasing a savory broth with every bite. Tiramisu leaned slightly heavier on the liqueur, which I personally enjoyed -- bold, fragrant, and not overly sweet. Portions were very generous; the three of us couldn't finish everything and ended up packing two lunch-sized portions to go. Service was attentive and efficient without being intrusive. We were able to prove the menu before we got seated. And our super friendly server came out and we were able to order right away. They've got a lunch special. That is a small personal pizza with a salad and we each got that. Salads came out first and I had the arugula salad, which was absolutely phenomenal. 10 of 10 would eat this every single day. The arugula was peppery and it was well dressed in a lemon vinaigrette type sauce. I am a fan of just plain lemon on mine, but this was delicious. My husband got a union salad, which is their specialty I guess. It's got colored carrots and some beets and some shallots. I thought the dressing was bland and it certainly needed salt and pepper. We asked for both and didn't get either. Our pieces came out and they were nice and woodfired. I feel like they could've been done just a little bit longer maybe a minute or two. The sauce was a lovely fresh type crushed tomato sauce. The cheese was nice and gooey and did not feel or taste like a package of processed cheese.
