I was finally able to figure out his last name. (It wasn't given out willingly and he made me guess after dropping a single hint). Will be on my way to collect my free bottle of wine for the month of June. Grafted Cellars is such a lovely place. I've met new friends as well as reunited with old ones. When we asked if they could cut our birthday cake, our waiter condescendingly responded that it would be $6.50 per person, adding, "We are trying to run a business." To make matters worse, the staff uses deceptive upselling tactics when you order an entree that includes a salad, the waiter phrases the options in a way that tricks you into ordering a more expensive version. We don't mind paying for premium experiences, but we expect basic respect and transparency. With Uno Tre Otto just down the street delivering incredible food and service (their bolognese is amazing), I am shocked Aruffo's is still in business.
