When he returned with the corrected bill, one of the duplicate charges had been removed, but the remaining $47 entrée--the one that contained the metal wire--was still on the bill. While we appreciated the gesture of the complimentary dessert, it seemed to fall well short of what would have been appropriate given the circumstances. A dessert does not compare to paying for a $47 entrée that contained a dangerous foreign object. This review isn't meant to criticize the quality of the food, it was outstanding. It's about the response to a significant food safety issue. I believe most guests would expect that a meal containing a metal wire bristle would be removed from the bill without question. Instead, we left feeling disappointed that the resolution did not reflect the seriousness of what had occurred.
