I went in here today...around 8 something there was a lady in there who served us she was actually nice, so we got our food and we were eating, my cousin went and asked for water...by that time the owner had came back who was a complete douche bag saying exactly this "guys I really need u to leave I only made 70 dollars today and I don't know why that lady left the open light turned on and servered you guys but I have to get outta here and u guys need to leave" then he continued disrespecting us by switching off the lights on us!!!!!! We went here for the first time today, and this is the best pizza we've had since moving to Upland 2 years ago. My husband and decided to try it, based on the recommendation of some folks at church. This place doesn't look like much, from the outside, (or from the inside) but that was the most awesome pizza EVER - and the prices are reasonable. We got two medium pizzas - one with 4 toppings and one with 2 toppings, for under $20. You think medium pizzas aren't enough? Well, they are the way these people make them! They were LOADED with toppings and cheese. 2 slices and we were full. 3 slices and we were uncomfortably stuffed... I'm not the type to leave bad reviews but I had an awful experience going here for the first time. I wanted to try a new pizza place and while the pizza was good, it was not at all worth the poor customer service. I came in to pick up my togo order and waited for a minute before I decided to say "hello" and see if there was anyone to assist me from the back. Idk if this was the owner but he shouted "what do you want" at me and when I replied i had a medium pizza i called in he rolled his eyes and gave me a loud "ugh". He left to the back and returned with my pizza and when i asked if i could also have some ranch he screamed (again) at me that i he didnt have ranch and so forth and started cussing that if i want some i'll have to wait. At this point i felt tense and unsure why he was so angry at me, my brother walked in behind me around this time and the guy's whole demeanor changed as if he knew he couldn't talk to a man that way but it was okay to talk to a young woman that way just moments before. He continued to cuss and complain about his pizza shop and how he "shouldn't have even opened the store today" as my brother looked at me confused about why he was ranting about all this to him. I will never go back and i dont recommend this place at all. If any other man approached me in the way this pizza employee did it would have been a larger issue than what it was, but I suppose he felt safe disrespecting me since he was behind a counter and my brother didn't know what had happened at the time. I hope no other young women has to deal with his threatening behavior, definitely recommend going to another pizza place! read more

Delicious pies. My wife and I can never agree on pizza places. She likes cheap and I like expensive. Rizza pizza is a phenomenal middle ground. The pizzas are affordable and amazing tasting. Don't even get me started on the chubby knobs . Our first experience came with a folded slice -- I didn't see it nor would i have cared BUT the owner saw it and he cared. Fixed it right up without even asking if I needed it fixed. Customer service at its finest. Did I mention their pizza retains the heat well so it's piping hot when you get it home? I started ordering from Rizza Pizza back when I was in 6th grade! I think it's safe to say that the frequency in which we ordered pizza from Mario over there kept him in business! All funny aside, this is a great establishment ran by a great family. The crust is amazing and the sauce is just right. The special "Rizza Pizza" is a great, lots of toppings and veggies (like a supreme pizza). They will also do any kind of special crust order or topping you like (I usually ordered a Cheese pizza, extra cheese, thin crust + burnt. Great!). As another reviewer said, their chubby sticks are amazing. For a while they also did pepperoni bread that he let us sample a few times and man, the bread was 10x better than the sticks which are already awesome! Too bad he doesn't make them anymore. All-in-all I order from here once a month at least and if I've been a customer for 11 years I don't think I'm going to stop anytime soon. Location location location! They really need to move to a better location. The property manager for this plaza has really let it go. (not Rizza's fault) I don't blame him/her though, the apartment complex behind them is really sketchy if you get my drift. There are few pizzas that are actually worthy to be warmed up the next day and this is one of them!! My diet as of late has been extremely strict. I did a quick yelp search on the place, I admit, I was a bit intrigued with something on the menu called "chubbies" after I read several people raving about them!! I began to order and was offered a special of a medium pizza with some chubbies (jackpot)!! The pizza was hot and fresh out of the oven. The crust was flavorful and crispy. The chubbies, my goodness were they delicious!! Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area. Also the owner, (I assume he was the owner ) had told me he hadn't put together their high-chairs as of yet...within 10 minutes he came out with a newly-put-together high chair! Decided to try this place by the YELP reviews. Worst Pizza experience period! I'm surprised the Health Department has not closed this place down. Upon walking in the place was dingy, outdated, and cold! It was really cold because the back patio doors and the front door was propped wide open. When we finally got someone to take our order (had to ring a bell). Everyone is behind this make shift partition wall so it's really hard to get anyone's attention. Upon ordering the kid who took our order didn't seem like he knew anything about the menu. We finally ordered the $11.99 large 3 topping special 2 drinks (only cans or 2 liter bottles) pitchers are avail but cost more than the 2ltrs. We sit at a table which was disgusting and dirty with ancient food crumbs in the crevices of the table. I realize we didn't get our drinks. This guy whom I assume is the owner named Mario is up front scratching his head and rubbing his nose constantly (disgusting) seems like I'm bothering him by asking for our drinks. We move tables from the crusty canyon table to a bit cleaner one. My spouse is freezing so I ring the bell to ask if I can close the front door because it's cold outside and Mr Mario seemed irritated and and said "Go ahead!" After a while he comes out and tries to upsell to their 16.99 special because we wouldn't like the 11.99 special we agree. This was the worst dining experience ever. We got 2 measly napkins for a large greasy pizza. We needed more and again felt like we were bugging Mr Mario. Got up again to buy a ranch dressing Mr Mario seemed upset. This place was empty the entire time on a Friday during peak hours with a few customer's picking up. Pizza was blah, service terrible, and even more terrible was what I seen on the floor where we paid two large cockroaches dead. This place is disgusting grimy and dirty. I don't understand the bad reviews. This place is pretty good. I've tried the meat lovers and supreme pizza. Their pizza is full of flavor and has a lot of toppings. You can tell this place has been here for awhile for they know how to make pizza. The sauce is on point too. The chubby stick is good too. For those of you complaining about toppings, order a cheese pizza. I do a lot of cardio so I usually stock up on their pizza before a long run the next day. Not recommended. We paid $20 for a medium two-topping pizza and a non-carbonated soda with black flakes floating in it. The pizza had a hair in it. The taste of the sauce and toppings was average, the regular crust is really thick. It's a take out place, not recommended to eat in. Really looks dirty inside. Bathroom was gross.
