Just bought a new car that took allllll day to get through the paperwork. Came in at 9AM left at 5PM. Last three hours they had to find the car the sold me. Change vin numbers and the sales person that promised me the world didn't come in to work the day I had to come in after they found a car and a ven number to re do the paper work again. But the car wasn't all put together so I'm here all day for them to come and tell me after getting here at 7:30 for a 8am appointment that they can't finish it and I'll have to come back. And they still have my car at 11:57.

This Honda dealership is a pretty good deal for routine maintenance. I've checked around at other places, like jiffy lube, and I don't think I want to go back there. I like coming here in part because when I sell the car, I will have a long history of timely service at the dealership. Hopefully that will increase the car's resale value.

My car was low on coolant and it was suggested to only use Honda Genuine Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2. I placed an inquiry online and they called me the following day to see if I still needed assistance. Fortunately, it was in stock, so I grabbed a gallon for $23 with tax. The price was roughly the same as other brands and made me happy with the purchase. Also, the service from the Parts department was great.

Huge thanks to Derek, Augie and James for helping me out with my car purchase. All 3 were very helpful, polite, courteous, and had very good customer service. I recommend them to anyone.

Scheduled to check out a used car I found online and scheduled an appointment with Grace Internet Sales. When we got there the car was not even prepped or ready for a test drive. Worst dealer I've ever been to I would never recommend buying from this dealer I went through Costco I was sent a email with price of $37000 and was told car would be here Tuesday when I called on Tuesday I was told car came in but has wrong interior but I should come down and start paper work and they would get one after a few minutes sales guy came over with a paper said this would be the new price $42000 lol what a joke talk about bait and switch I walked out as I'm driving away manager knocking on my window wanting to make a deal then he proceeds to go look again after waiting 15 min he comes back and said he can't find one for us what a bunch of clowns I went home made a few calls found car I wanted at norm reeves Honda in vista made deal over the phone drove down there 1 hour later driving home with a new car at a very fair price so do yourself a favor look elsewhere read more

Went there to look at their vehicles and waited for the helpful Honda associate to get the keys. While waiting for the keys, the helpful Honda associate was outside talking to another associate. We waited approximately 20 min as he stood there ignoring us. Once we started to leave, the helpful Honda associate started to walk to us with the keys. Just terrible customer service. I had a great experience with Javier who was awesome to work with as a salesperson. The deal ran into some hiccups as we finalized with the "big bosses" who agree to numbers, but I am understanding in that they're running a business and also had to look out for their best interests. The dealership was clean and everyone was friendly and polite. Recently I went to this dealership for a Honda paint recall. I took the day off of work and went to their shop around 2pm. The first attendant I spoke to was very helpful and she got my information and asked me to go inside and wait for assistance. I waited in the shop for maybe about 10 minuets until I was assisted by a technician. I told them I needed help with the paint recall and they told me that they can't service my vehicle. They told me that they don't have a body shop and can't work on my car. They said they had one perviously but they are not longer approved to work on cars. They told me to go to another Honda dealership for help. Later to find out via my main dealership and Honda Corporate that they should have never turned me away. They were just too lazy to do their job. read more

Called about my 2024 Honda accord battery died with 3 recalls. The car has 39000 miles and they said it passed the warranty. Dam Honda has gone low because they are getting batteries with no name brand and not lasting past 2 years. I guess is a way to get you in and charge you more. Service department wouldn't even validate nothing after a year old car with a dead battery. Taking it back and getting something else besides Honda. They don't bend the warranty at all to help out their clients. read more

Their oil change includes them check many other parts of your car and top off fluids for free. The staff are very friendly and they are great at explaining what each service is and when they need to get done. They also provide a free shuttle service if your appointment is a few hours. Roughly 30 months ago I purchased a $118 battery rated for 100 months from the parts dept. thinking the extra money was worth it, believing the product was of superior quality and there would be first-rate customer service standing behind it. Sadly I was wrong. I just discovered I should never have sourced a car battery from the Riverside Honda dealer...what a mess. I called the parts department to understand the procedure for replacement, and was told to simply come in to the service department with my receipt for a free replacement. Given the battery's failed condition, that I had no confidence it would hold charge while driving to the dealership, I removed it and transported it in a different vehicle. The Honda service writer seemed very detached from my problem from the start. He said they needed to test the battery while it's installed in my car. I politely challenged that...every auto parts dealer merely needs the battery to test the quality of the electrolyte and battery's chargeability...the car most certainly isn't required. Later, the service writer changed his story to say he needed the car for the VIN number, and also to verify I wasn't brining him a stolen battery...even though I had the receipt and a photo of the same battery installed under the hood of my car. Then after conferring with the parts department, the service writer told me to take the battery to them. Get this...he promptly went back into his glass fishbowl office and sat down, certainly aware that a customer was now struggling to get that same battery into their building! Understand my demeanor was very polite, civil, though firm in a businesslike way...I had not provoked him in any way. The parts department did me no better. I was told again I needed to return with the failed battery installed to my car, because of now a different story...Honda needs to validate that it's being used for the intended purpose of powering the automobile! What?! Again, every other seller of car auto batteries doesn't put their customers through such nonsense in order to make good on a warranty for what turned out to be an over-priced, under-performing product. I explained I wasn't going to reinstall and return with the battery in my car...on principle because I had already taken enough time off work to get there in the first place. They should have told me from the beginning what their oddball warranty requirements were; I didn't have more time to waste. So I left dejected with the battery, and purchased one from Pep Boys that carried a reasonable, 'no questions asked', 'no need to bring your car along in tow', no hassles warranty. Thank you. Lastly, I contacted Honda Motor's 'Customer Service' number, and reported my experience. Their customer service rep made no overtures that there'd be any follow-up action...I doubt anything will come of it. What Honda's dysfunctional approach to customer service of battery sales failed to consider is that over the past 14 yrs, our family has purchased 5 Honda/Acura products from area dealers. We had options to buy other brands, but didn't because we believed in Honda and their reputation. Honda Corporate needs to do some serious retraining of dealership staff if they don't want to continue bleeding customers. read more

My husband and I, went 3 weeks ago to help our future daughter in law purchase her first new vehicle. And it was not a good experience. BUT, I believe in endless chances (I honestly didn't before, but now I strongly believe that). My spouse, not so much.(which I get, I felt the same). This time around, was much! much! better. We did ask for different Internet person, and sales person, etc. I was asked the previous persons name, so they can let Management know. I am not about ruining someone in any way. But, I realized I did need to let them know. So that it could be brought to that person's attention, to better them for future customers. That is my reason why I did give the name, with much difficulty that is. :( There is some things I disagree with. Such as getting discounts, and the great interest rate combined. They don't give both, and I feel they should, IF! you have great credit. When you earn great credit scores, it should be deserved to get the lowest interest rate, with discounts combined. I understand, we all have different scores, for whatever reasons. BUT, when you do have excellent scores, and your not rewarded for your hard work on achieving your scores. That is wrong in my heart/eyes, to make the choice to not give the combined discounts when earned. Because they want to make their money regardless (AGAIN, I put myself in the shoes of the sales person and take consideration they need to make a living). With that, not everyone has excellent credit. So, they will not be giving combined discounts to everyone. (I keep using the words... COMBINED DISCOUNTS, because those were the words used with us many times. It's not written in ANY! FINE PRINT! It's a choice they make. That is why I say, it's wrong to make a choice like that when one has worked hard and earned the excellent credit. In the end, our sales persons helped us out AMAZINGLY. We would love to THANK Nana Benson and Juan Hernandez, for their Excellent customer service. We appreciate all their professional service and hospitality they gave us, and worked to help us achieve a happy price for of us to seal the deal. And they did that for us. Took longer than what we expected, since we are veterans to purchasing vehicles. I really hope they work on that a little bit, to make a sales transaction a little smoother, but they came out in the end and made us very, very happy. I would also like to mention, that other Honda employees made us feel welcome and special as well. Even though they weren't our sales person, if we walked out the door and came back in, they would open the door for us. It was more than one occasion, that happened. I really took notice, and appreciate the simple, but yet very big gesture. Thank you, Riverside of Honda. You really came through this time! Juan, Muchas! Muchas! My husband and I went to Riverside honda Almost 2 weeks ago. We went to just check out the inventory. The first Sale Rep that greeted us was Omar. He was very polite and down to earth. My husband and I went directly to two cars that caught our eye. Neither had a price on them. We asked about the cars and he went to find out all the info we had asked for. We asked him to give us time to look around and see what else is there. He came and checked on us only once and by then we have already decided we wanted to test drive a few cars. Omar got the keys and went for our test drives. Omar didn't mind that we stopped to switch seats so i could drive or that my husband was testing everything in the car. Omar was very quick to help and answer any questions that either if us had. By the end of the day it was down to 2 cars and we both wanted to drive them on the freeway (since we do a lot of freeway drives) Omar was very quick to get the keys again and the second test drive we took. Omar has great customer service skills. By the end of the day we had set our mind on a car and started the process to make it ours, We had been then for hours already and Omar and the finance team were working as fast as they could on there end. THe finance people were just as great as Omar was. We hit a roadblock with the bank and we ended up leaving with out the car we wanted. Monday morning Omar called us that Donald (the Finance man) were still working to get our deal where we wanted it. By the end of day it was worked out and we were gonna get our new car! The problem with it all is that we live 3hours away from the dealer. We wouldn't be able to pick it up till tuesday. Omar told us that he wait for us to make sure we left the dealership happy customers. WE ended up getting to the dealer at 9pm right when they close. Neither Omar or Donald seemed to care how late it was. The made us feel like it was noon and they had all day. By the time all the papers where signed and we had everything we needed it was nearly 11pm.. My husband and I are very big on customer service and the way people talk. Omar showed us that there are still sale people out there that still respect the customer no matter what the out come is going to be. I was very impressed with way he spoke to me as a female asking questions about the car instead of him only talking to my husband about the car. Because the customer service and the experience all together with getting our new car we will be returning to Riverside Honda for our next car ad we would not hesitate to recommend any of our friends and family. read more

I recently purchase a Black Accord 2013 ELX Coupe here. I see a lot of reviews and would like to say if you don't qualify for a vehicle don't blame the dealership. Get your credit up and come back. Okay back to my review. I had purchase a car from another dealer and wanted to get it inspected here at this Honda dealership. As we came up to this Honda Dealership, Ron a salesman had helped us. We found that the vehicle we had purchase was a bad call. Ron and his team stuck by us for 4 days to return our lemon back to the dealership we had got it from. He had ran a full vehicle history and founded that our purchase was in a major rear end accident. The previous dealership had lied to me to sell me a death trap. After Ron and his team gave me critical advise on how to return the car, I thou it was fair to come back to Ron (salesman) to get one of the certified Hondas off the lot. Ron and his team made it easy for me to trade in an old 1999 Accord to get a used certified 2013 EXL Accord. I was never pressure to do anything. Ron was so kind to even drive me home when I had came in with my trade in. They also gave me a rental with a full tank since my car was getting detailed. The finance team gave me advice how to pay the car off early. They had told me the correct way to pay it off so my bank doesn't charge me interest on my early payments. Every time I pulled up to this dealership I was greeted and the salesman walked me to open the door, where the receptionist called for my Salesman. People here are very friendly and they give you information that is needed. Ron was so kind to get all new parts that needed to be replaced for my Accord. He even stuck a hour in when I picked up my Accord, to show me how to uses my Pandora, Bluetooth, Eco-Drive, Paddle Shifters, Keyless Fob, and other things I wouldn't know about the car until he had showed them to me. Ron also picked up all my calls every time and kept each and every promised he had made to me. Ron even called me every morning to tell me how my car was doing and updates. I'm going to go back to Ron to purchase my next Truck. I pay a bit more at this dealership compared to a small no named one. But I have a peace of mind that I made a great investment that I never need to worry about. If you get a chance to get a car here, I would recommend going to Ron. Highly polite, Honest, Professional, Friendly!!! Bravoooooo! My hat off to you Ron and Riverside Honda. Thank you, and Thank you again!!! read more

Hey everyone let me explain my problem that I had in purchasing a new vehicle with my trade in. I decided to go three dealerships that was my gold just three and if it didn't work then I will just wait when the time is right to see who would really help me with my problem in order to trade in my 2015 Honda Accord Sport. and get the new 2018 Honda Accord Sport Platinum pearl white. First I went to Spreen Honda really bad experience they really didn't help me that much on payment wise. It was too high and they wanted a downpayment really too high. I tried to fight them for a lower payment APR and down payment but they denied me. so I got up shook hands and left in a peaceful way like a human being. Second I went to Rock Honda really really bad experience there I was there at least about maybe 20 to 40 minutes tops Asia it takes more than that you know we make a good deal and try to get the best deal ever but for me or so fast in and out thing so they believe in help me so I left. So my last stop was Riverside Honda I had applied online and that's when Karissa had mailed me for an appointment on 12/ 8 /17 in the afternoon. So when I went there I test drove the car first thing they did that was really cool the other two dealers didn't even bother of me of testing there cars. Got back to the lot and went inside and got introduced to Rosendo Villagómez and Ivan Martinez. They were really nice to me polite they offer me to coffee etc. I had it I had asked for a lower price payment so they went to talk to the banks and the banks were closed it was late some banks where closed already so I went home they did whatever they can to get me a best low payment. they told me that they there going to call me the next day to see what deal they had me and they had a good news. Rosendo and Ivan call me and said that they had dropped the payment. They said that they were going to deliver the car to house so they did I think that was really awesome of them. they washed the car they fill up the tank Rosendo came over we fill out the paperwork and made the deal thanks for giving me that happiness in me and my family for this Christmas they made it happen Riverside Honda I recommend this to my family friends and everyone happy holidays and thanks again...... sincerely,.............. Like most, the thought of going to a car dealer to replace a vehicle is not a very pleasant one; but one we all inevitably have to face. When that time comes, and if you are anywhere within driving distance of Riverside, CA (or even further), I would like to recommend The Riverside Honda dealership on Auto Drive. First, the product they have (Honda) is excellent as is well known. Secondly, while they are not giving them away; if there is any way to get you into one of their cars, they will; and they will do it with no hassles and no pressure. They were honest and straight forward and while I didn't squeeze them for every cent I could, they didn't try to get every cent from me either. We eventually settled on a fair price that was within both of our comfort zones which is what negotiation and settlement is all about. I never felt I was being taken advantage of or gouged. I felt that I was dealing with professionals at every level. If there, I would strongly recommend that you ask for Christian Uribe who is a Sales Consultant. While he has been there for only about 6 months, his product and industry knowledge is excellent. He can compare many other manufacturer's products to the Honda line and will be honest about what he knows. He came over from the sister Nissan dealership next door where he had been for several years so he is not new to the company or the business. If not available, ask for Julio Reyes who is the Floor Manager and Christian's supervisor. He has been with this Honda dealer for over 13 years which speaks well for both him and the dealership. He was the one who actually "crunched the numbers" and was the one who got us the deal. He was diligent, calm and understanding. When we reached a temporary impasse he would propose a way to get around it or listen to my suggestions about what I would be comfortable doing. There were several of these points, but he never lost focus of what he was trying to do and who he was dealing with. I was very confident and comfortable working with both Christian, Julio and Honda, and they will be the first I go when it's time to replace this car. So i'm looking for a car, and so my first choice was a Honda. So I went over to the dealership, went inside, and was greeted by a guy named Chris Pearce. Turns out he was a Sales Consultant, and quickly after introductions we went and looked at a couple cars. He was actually a pretty cool guy, very low key, not at all an annoying, obnoxious sales man, but he was quick to answer questions and he knew what he was talking about. We test drove a Civic and an Accord, and during the drive, information about the car was given, stories were swapped and jokes were cracked instead of a constant barrage of questions asking if I was going to buy the car today. Upon returning to the dealership we went inside, and while he drafted up some paper work, I found the soda machine and well... let's just say I had my fill of soda. We talked, negotiated, ran numbers, and it was not until we were finished with the preliminary stuff did he ask the tough question; Do I want to drive home a new car today, and if so, what is it going to take to make a deal. His timing was perfect, and the question worded so eloquently I did not feel like I was being pushed into a cage, but more like I was invited to a party. Once we figured out what I wanted, and what he could do, we ended up somewhere in the middle, where I got a lot more from my trade in than I was expecting. After that it was a cinch, we filled out a lot of paper work, and he went and got me my car. Which was all the way in the back of the lot, so he had to move like ten cars and play a little Tetris to actually get it out. He then went one step further and actually drove me to my house to get a co signature, so that my family member didn't have to get off the couch, and come to the dealership. When we returned my Brand New 2014 Accord was shiny and ready to go. He showed me a little bit more about the personalization of the car, and then I drove home a very happy camper. So if you're not sure about a new car, or maybe you're even a little anxious about dealing with the Sales Person, just head over to Honda and ask for Chris. He will make your day easy, and your experience a really good one. read more

Horrible.. They lie and don't do what is promised .. Went to see about trading in Honda crv 2006. I've always maintained it at Santa Ana or corona., I was introduced to Adrian who showed me around and reassured me that even though great bad due to health reasons and husbands death., once I found a car I liked he ran credit.. He than asked if a family member could consign .. I said maybe dad but he doesn't drive.. He ran his credit and suggested he be the only one on loan.. Again I said he's in Convalesent home doesn't drive.. He was persistent and said it has been approved on dad's credit .. He said Kevin would go 40 milesto have dad sign.. I said I didn't want yo take the car til all paperwork down.. He was persistant reassured me it was fine.. Manager also said its fine take care home tonight..I was to, did have a payment in 3 months Kevin went to have my dad sign and saw he didn't walk... Asked for his id.. I told him I don't know if I can get it., I thought it was ok than hot call from Nicole in financing 2 months later.. She told me she got a better loan and if I could bring my dad's I'd.. I explained situation again...here I was thinking loan was approved and done deal.. Apparently they lied.. 2 days later Nicole called again demanding I bring car back and get mine.. I spoke to the big manager Richard who's in charge of all 3 shops there.. I tried to explain that I never promised license and that his sales people new my dad can't drive. He just started yelling at me demanding the car back and I get my honda back and if I didn't comply I will end up with no car.. I brought the car back and got my honda back.. It was cleaned up as if they were getting ready to sell it. On the way home I noticed my air not working and loud noise coming from rear... When I left it at honda the car was fine.. I have not been back because I do not want to be yelled at again.. I'm a cancer patient and don't need the stress,, I will take it in to corona honda for service at this point and contact corp.. read more

I would always hear Honda on the radio while I would be driving and I would always think to myself it would be so nice to be helped out by the Honda Family. It all came true! I had a 2017 Nissan Versa (base model) from Larry H. Millar (Nissan Corona) which I was not happy with at all after finding out what was going on with my contract and being lied to by some "Trustful" employees. I was stuck with a car I did not like and paying way too much! One day I decided to go to Riverside Honda which I've heard MANY good things from, to see if I would receive one of their random acts of helpfulness! And let me tell you! Our helpful Honda guy was Rick! He greeted us right away we did not have to wait or look for someone ourselves. We felt really welcomed and even had all of my family smiling. He introduced me to the car that I LOVED! The 2017 Honda Accord in the beautiful Basque Red! We took the car on a test drive and I feel in love with the car, I felt soo much safer and more comfortable. He showed me all of the vehicle's functions and didn't even miss a thing. We went inside the nice and clean Honda building to speak numbers and explain the tuff situation I was in. I was in a really hard situation and Rick did everything possible to help us! The manager was involved and guys let me tell you, they're a blessing! We reached the financial lady (Percilla)who explained everything to us step by step, paper by paper. Nothing and I mean nothing was hidden from us. What I'm trying to say that I am so thankful and I appreciate everything And everyone at Riverside Honda that helped us that day! If you guys are looking for you first car or just looking Trustful dealership, Riverside Honda is the place to go! They will meet and exceed your requirements! Thank you Honda! TERRIBLE SALES AND FINANCE SERVICE!!!!!!!!! The guys in the show room were not quite as straight forward as I expected. Picking out a car was easy and a pleasure, but when it came time to put ink to paper it became a nightmarish joke. First there was a discussion about what the price was going to be, even though Nancy already told him it was through truc car and the price was set. He wanted to add on special packages, I said no thanks. Then I was told the finance charge will be 3.99%, even though Honda has a 0.9%. Then some other guy came out to tell me there was no 0.9%, but a 5 yr 3.99%, I had to tell them to look on the Honda website to find out that there actually was a 0.9%. Then it was do you want a 5 yr at 1.9% ( they forgot they just said it was 3.99%) or a 0.9% 3 yr deal. I mean come on I just told them I wanted a 0.9% rate from Honda. Then the bald guy comes back and shows me the 5 yr and 3 yr monthly payments and again asks me which one I want. It now make me think either they are not listening, or maybe I am not speaking clearly. I tell him again I will go with the 3 yr 0.9%. The bald guy then says by the way this also includes a extended warrenty price. Now Henri I was thinking how great the deal was going to be. I walk in, pick a car, the price is set, the financing is going to be through Honda. No sweat, in and out in an hour, maybe two. I should have gone to a dentist and had a tooth pulled if I wanted to be frustrated. I would hope that this is not the normal attitude of your finance person. Maybe it was just he did not want to sell the car at that price and he wanted to blow me off. After I told the sales person I was done and will go somewhere else, the sales person began to ask a question but the bald guy waves his hand as if to shoe me away or maybe he was shoeing away the salesman. I just bought a 2013 Honda Pilot. I'm a person who Yelp and Google's everything. I did months of research to find the best deal, best dealership, and best customer service. After watching Kobe and the Lakers destroy Dallas, I was pumped up and ready to buy a new car. I live in Rancho Cucamonga so I past two other Honda dealers to get to Riverside Honda. Besides my research I put on my poker face thinking I was going into a high pressure dealership like many that are. Boy I was wrong. Walking up to the door I was greeted by a car salesman name AJ. Its was almost meant to be. With AJ's professionalism I was impressed. Being in the medical field doing patient care I value a strong work ethic with a personal touch. AJ is just that and more, his name should be A+. He lead us to the right car without asking he priced the car to the exact dollar amount that we wanted. It sounded to good to be true. I was waiting to sit down and everything would change. I was wrong again. This is where Anthony stepped in. My wife is 7 months pregnant so money is tight due to our new baby room ect... We told Anthony our situation and our budget. Anthony worked the numbers found us a loan and a great payment. Guess what we are home with our brand new Pilot. On our way down my wife and I said we are going to be here all day. So we brought a sack lunch jk. No lie less then two hours we found the right car, test drive the car all around Riverside and got financed, and had all the paperwork done. We sit in movie theaters longer then that. What a great place I always wanted a Honda and now thanks to A+ AJ and Anthony we are driving around like happy campers. What a nice car. This review is specifically for Jorge Marquez in the sales department. My previous vehicle was determined a total loss after an accident. I only had a few days to find a new vehicle before I had to return a rental vehicle. I was looking around at several Honda dealerships for a certified used Honda Civic hatchback. I wasn't happy with what some of the other dealerships were offering me for features in the vehicle as well as the price, interest rate, and their honesty. I spoke with Jorge several times over the phone before I decided to make the drive to the Riverside Honda Dealership. Each time I spoke with Jorge, he was courteous and respectful. He was filled with an enormous amount of knowledge regarding vehicles and sales. He made sure to answer every question I had and if he didn't have the answer, he went out of his way and found out for me. I was overall satisfied with how professional Jorge was throughout my experience at the Riverside Honda Dealership. I highly recommend dealing with Jorge Marquez if you're considering purchasing a vehicle from the Riverside Honda Dealership. The only thing I would recommend is for the Riverside Honda dealership to improve on is adding more photos of the vehicles on sites they have them listed on. Also, listing all of the discrepancies on the vehicles would be helpful as well (so you're aware of what is wrong prior to seeing the vehicle in person). The previous owner was a smoker and I was not aware of this until I got to the dealership. I immediately turned the vehicle down however, I ended up liking the vehicle and bought it regardless of the cig smoke. read more

Just purchased a CRV with some nice extra items...sun roof, fog lamps, etc. I did several months of research online and visited 3 different Honda dealerships. One was clearly-head and shoulders-above the rest...Riverside Honda. I read that they've won the "Governors Award" four years in a row. They are the only Honda dealership in So Cal that has accomplished that and today I found out why... They answered every question in a professional manner. That answer was followed up by another piece of information that was directly related to the same topic (re-sale value, interest rates, safety rating, options, etc.). The entire time I was going through this process my salesperson AJ was courteous and confident. I never felt forced or rushed in the entire process today (7/5/13). As my wife and I were sitting down with AJ and Juan (our finance rep) we were discussing how much to put down on our choice (and yes, they have a huge selection of cars). When I mentioned to my wife that we might be able to get a better interest rate (every dollar helps) Juan informed us that he could lower the initial low rate they offered! He offered us a rate that beat our credit union (Altura)! I was surprised and happy that they were will to go the extra mile for our business. It pays to shop and compare. On paper and online they had the best offers advertised. What really caught me off guard was the service, selection, price and professionalism at Riverside Honda. I know this post seems like a bunch of bull, but it's not. The next time I buy a car Riverside Honda will be the first place that I come to. read more

Having gone through Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and my husband just starting his credit, we had been turned down many times when we tried buying a car which was very discouraging and upsetting. We drove a beat up Daewoo who left us stranded many times. One lucky day in 2012 we went in to the Riverside Metro Group and they advised us on the financing terms for buying a car on our credit. We agreed to purchase a used car even with a high interest rate (26%) as it was the only opportunity we had been given. A year later (2013) we went to the Riverside Honda to trade in our used car and to get a "new" car this time the financing rate was incredibly much lower (9%) and we were content. Again, after another year we went back and decided to trade up again and we did before only this time and by our good relationship with the bank (making all payments on time) we got less than 1% financing. Just recently (a few days ago) we went back to get my husband a "new" car. Rosendo and Juan helped us again by getting us a low interest rate, two month's payments, and no money down. Now my husband has the car he's always wanted, a Honda Civic Si. We are just very thankful and happy that these guys worked so hard for us to get us financed even with our credit history. We always tell our family and friends about our experience. It has been the most rewarding car buying experience we've had. TERRIBLY UNETHICAL!! Salesman John S. communicated a car was there with our exact wishes the day before as well as the morning of. We were ready to sign today. The car was not there. Salesman John, who texted at 9:57 am saying the keys were in his pocket, was waiting for our arrival. After driving a great distance, we arrived at 11:40 and he seemed flustered saying he was with another customer and that he'd get one of his associates to come show us Odysseys cause, "there are probably lots of cars around here like it". Wait!? What? We wanted the car he had ready for us not "lots of cars around here like it." Immediately after this comment, he had his associate drive us around the lot looking for an Odyssey like it. After returning empty handed, the second associate asked John about the van. John told him it sold an hour ago. Why didn't John say that when we first arrived? The new associate asked us if we would like a different color or a higher trim level. No thank you, we wanted the car and color we were told was waiting for us. Why wasn't the car still there if it had been sold just an hour prior? Paper work takes longer than 9:57am-10:40am. Logically, the vehicle would have still been sitting there waiting and waiting for its new owners to finish signing paperwork that takes hours. There are too many red flags here! If we can't trust that they even HAD the car or sold the car, how could we trust them on warrantees, price, markups, or transit deliveries for that matter? We shared our concern with the manager. I recently went to Riverside Honda with a friend looking to purchase a new vehicle. We were greated immediately by two gentlemen Vince and Michael. Michael Gonzalez escorted us in, seated us and found out what we were looking for, price range, vehicle type, makes and/or models we may have had a particular interest in...basically or likes and dislikes. Then based upon the information provided, income, credit, down payment etc. he let us know exactly what he would be able to do (no you might be's, just a firm THIS is what I can do, these are your options). I picked out a few vehicles took a couple of test drives and with the help of the finance team...they made it happen. Now I am not the best candidate for purchasing a vehicle, my credit isn't the greatest and the down payment amount was suspect to say the least. However, I was given options I could work with and drove away with a car. And not just any old thing to get me around, but something that looks good, has some bells and whistles and warranties in place that I actually enjoy driving. Yes, they are there to make money...I get that, but while making money he listened. Didn't try and push me into anything and considered my needs and explained in detail what I was getting and answered my many, many, many questions. At any rate I was so happy with my service I took another friend of mine a few weeks later and she purchased a car as well. I love the customer service I get here from everyone but most of all the sit down with sales mgr Juan and my new sales guy Michael G. Sunday afternoon just before the thunderstorm hit took my son in to look at cars and Michael G. right away opened the door to my car and asked if he could help me and we walked into showroom. He was very courteous,attentive and very well mannered. I told him my sons birthday is tomorrow and we are here to look at the 2015 civics-loaded of course. Right away he brought a car and took us to look at their cars available. Then we went on a test drive. Came back and asked him to tell sales mgr. Juan that I was there and wished to speak to him. I JUST BOUGHT A 2015 CROSSTOUR 5MOS. AGO. Juan came and I told him" I told you I was coming back for another car. And YES! my son got his 2015 civic ex during the storm! ;) I LOVE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE and at the same time it sadden me to hear my service guy AL GARCIA was gone,no longer there. You see I am a creature of habit where I only like one person attend to the service of my cars and AL GARCIA has been my service guy for 7 years and he was the best and where ever he went my cars follow! So I feel sort of lost for my future service needs without him there :(. Since I will be returning in a few months for my youngest sons car and maybe another civic! I'm so thankful that a friend recommended going to Riverside Honda over other Honda dealers in my area. From the moment I parked my potential trade in at the Honda dealer, I was greeted with many smiles. That set the tone for what took place next. I cannot tell you enough how thankful I am that I was assigned a salesman named Max. Max is beyond amazing at what he does. I'm a pretty good judge of character, and I could tell Max really wanted me to make the right decision about purchasing a vehicle that suited my needs. Not only was he very kind, he was also very patient which is kind of unheard of nowadays in car sales. Max let me walk around take and take my time and select different vehicles to test drive. He is extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles as well. When I had made my selection, he made the negotiation process painless. I have never had a car buying experience go so smoothly and I know that Max was the key to that. Even after I left with my vehicle (purchased in March 2018), Max was still willing to help me. I have had some questions since purchasing the vehicle and Max has got back to me promptly with answers. Max and the staff at Riverside Honda are a great group of people that know how to treat their customers. I just recently moved from California to Massachusetts and I really miss having them close by. My car was totaled in an accident, so I needed to get a car within a week... I came in on a Tuesday afternoon just to "browse around" for quotes. I was greeted right away by Jon (nice man), who showed me a few different cars I was interested in. I test drove 2 cars, and then met Edgar, who gave me more detailed info about the cars I was looking at. Edgar was very knowledgeable, professional, and very easy going and comfortable to talk to. After learning about the car and test driving it a 2nd time, I became more interested in leasing the car, but I couldn't really afford the price, so Edgar suggested that I go inside to see what they could do for me. I was introduced to Devin (Floor Manager) who worked reallyyy extremely hard to accommodate my budget. He made sure to offer me the best reasonable price. After a few hours of negotiating, I was finally comfortable with the price offer, and decided to sign my lease. Honestly, my experience went better than I thought!! and these guys were extremely helpful and knowledgeable in their field. They seemed really sincere and down to earth people. EVERYONE had great customer service!! Honestly, I was hesitant to go through the negotiating process, but if you tell them your budget then they will do their best to work with you.
