Everyone at the office is friendly and upbeat, they know their patients, and they really are looking out for your best interest. When I first went to Dr. Clint I was 18 years old and had virtually no dental care my entire childhood. I went to see him because of a toothache but I had no insurance at the time. He fixed my tooth and allowed me to make payments on the bill. He also told me all the other issues that were going on in my mouth but he knew I had no insurance and no way to pay for all the work that needed to be done. He told me "You get a job that has insurance and you come back and see me and we'll get your teeth fixed. Who knows, one day you may even get braces." At that time I thought he was out of his mind because it was so far out of my reach. But I did get insurance and I did go back to him and I did eventually get braces and today my teeth are beautiful! I highly recommend Smiles By Design to anyone looking for a good, quality dentist. You simply won't find a better dentist with a better staff!

I moved to a different practice. It was a lie. Someone from my office with the same insurance company and coverage told me they love our insurance because it pays for all services; the exact opposite they told me. I understand that people have the right to refuse a service, but to lie about it feels UTTERLY unprofessional and very disappointing. We didn't do anything to deserve this treatment. I feel like they discriminated against my origin and skin color. We're living strange times for sure. Also for those who are wondering, no, we weren't admonished or called out for any reason or misbehavior. I wish they would have been honest and said they didn't want our business. If i could give zero stars i would!! First, I've only been going there for 1.5 months (4 visits)…read morewhen i went their first time, i was given a form for referrals and if referral came there you'd get a 50$ gift card.. nothing else as told to me as far as rules of gift cards. My first visit was very uncomfortable, the assistant didn't know how to take a blood pressure, so it hurt when she did it over and over again and when i simply asked her if she knew how to take them she got very offended and said yes we were trained.. i told her i could do it if she wanted.. from there on out every time i went in she had a horrible attitude towards me even tried to tell me once how i should take my antibiotics etc.. like seriously that's none of her business and it was a preventative. She is very very unprofessional, rude, and just not a good fit for working with ppl. After the first visit, i got a call that my gift card would be in the mail.. 2 weeks, no gift card. I called and then was told my husband/referral, needed to pay his bill first then I'd get it but after explaining, 1. I wasn't told anything about that, only that i would get the gift card for the referral 2. Our insurance covered everything so there was no bill 3. Then i was told they would have it for me my next visit. Next visit, the assistant was rude, and no gift card. Was told they were out and would get more on that Friday. Then i had an emergency tooth pain that i was dealing with for awhile and it got worse.. i went in to get it pulled, the assistant was overly nice so clearly she was talked to but her niceness was dramatic almost insulting. As Dr was trying to drill a hole in my tooth it caused a severe pain that radiated through my body and caused me to go into an anxiety attack (never happened before) which i jerked and Dr got irrated with me even tho it was a natural human response with such great pain. I ended up having to go to a oral surgeon that day to get it taken care of... and again NO gift card even though the office manager, Rachel promised me twice i would have it... i once again called and left a message about how disappointed i was and if they were going to make things right to please call me.. No call!! This is how they run their office.. UNPROFESSIONAL NO INTEGRITY NO ACCOUNTABILITY... i was looking forward to going here for a very long time and now i wish i never did!! The only ppl who were nice and professional was Stephanie and Julie. I would not recommend them after all the issues with them during my very short time going there.

I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone who needs a dentist!!…read more Dr. Nelson & Dr. Dorsch are the owners of this clinic now that Dr. Hein retired and they are both FABULOUS! I don't know where to start, so I'll begin with how Dr. Dorsch basically saved the life of someone in my family after their pcp missed a growth that required emergency surgery. Then there's Dr. Nelson, who I'll call the "King of Painless Injections". He's some sort of magician, because if he hadn't told me he was putting the numbing shot in, I wouldn't have even known. I'm extremely needle phobic so this is huge! He does a great job of explaining things & is thorough. He's also extremely patient. I can be a neurotic mess when I'm at the dentist. He never makes me feel ridiculous, and he never shames me for not coming in regularly like I'm going to start doing. Just a very nice, gentle person. If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm one of those people who are terrified of the dentist, usually going only when necessary. Now that Dr. Dorsch is part of the practice, she can prescribe meds to help. This was huge for me! They weren't able to do this the last time I inquired, but she's got the special skills/license. That being said, it's not a guarantee that she'll feel comfortable prescribing something. For example, she was concerned about an interaction with meds I'm already on so after her and my pcp discussed it, my primary care ended up doing the prescribing. So it's case by case. The clinic itself is beautiful. The hygienists are so nice, calming, friendly and helpful. They really make you feel at ease. Overall, just a great practice. So glad Dr. Dorsch joined & now co-owns the clinic as she's brought a ton to the table. I'm working with her in 10 days so I may update this. Highly recommenda!
