I've been to this dental office 5 times, every 6 months, today would have been my 6th and…read moreunfortunately the customer service has been consistently disappointing.
They have such a high turnover rate of hygienist, every 6 months, which makes the continuity of care difficult. Every appointment, I had a different hygienist, it felt like I was starting from scratch, again. Making each visit inconsistent in care and communication.
When I complained to the receptionist, Carly, her reply was, I need to request a specific hygienist. I did make the appointment with the specific hygienist I wanted. The hygienists and I look at her schedule to see what day works for me after my appointment, she then, walks me to receptionist desk we say, See ya next time! The receptionist looks up the appointment and writes it on the appointment card and gives it to me. You can't get any more specific than that!
So, her baloney "I had to request a specific hygienist" would still be pointless when every 6 months you have a new staff. They no longer work there!
It's like going to Burger King and getting a different cashier. Baye has a different hygienist every time for dental services.
I requested my dental record. She stated who is your new dentist. I said, I want it. She said she couldn't give it to me. I said, that is not true, I want it. She then said she would have to email it to me. I stated I wanted a copy, she said she could not make a clear copy and would have to email it to me and asked me for my email address. Reluctantly, I said, okay, you have it on file. As I started to state the email address, she said that is not what we have on file. If she knew my email address, why did she ask. Just to be difficult! I said forgot it and walked out. She snarkily said, Have a great day!
Note: HIPAA Privacy Rule requires them by law to provide YOU with a copy of your record.
I do appreciate the dental care I received from all 5 different hygienist, but the administrative side needs to be greatly improved. They should ask themselves why are the hygienists quitting or getting fired? Either way, it is still on the administrative side and to place responsibility with me is wrong. Own it.
Over decades, when I've relocated to a new state, and started with a new dental office, I have always had the same hygienists I started there with until I moved. Not here.
Regarding new hygienist every time, I only know what Baye's staff told me when I have asked why my previous hygienist was not providing my service at every single appointment for 3 years. All have said they no longer work there, even the last hygienist, Nixie. Nixie was lovely, but it had nothing to do with her, it had everything to do with a poorly run business.
Carly was rude and sarcastic, that is why I left. Even other reviews online state she, by her name and/or staff is rude.
