To say that I am one of those "anxious " patients would be an understatement, so when my long time dentist retired I desperately sought out a local practice that would provide a calm and clean environment to help assuage my anxiety. At first their staff seemed robotic but then when you get to meet them one on one, it all changes. The young lady tech I had, named "Jacey", demonstrated a sense of humor, impeccable professionalism and empathy. She knows her stuff and in short order, her patient. The doctor assigned to me, Dr. Cracium (Dr."C") provided sound advice and recommendations after learning of my background health issues. Within ten minutes, I was provided an estimate of the charges along with an explanation of what and why he planned. Best of all, the practice will do everything it can to handle your emergency- most of the time, then. no extended and interminably painful waiting. They'll also send you timely reminders so that you don't miss an appointment. These originate I guess from the gorgeous staff at the front desk ; an incredibly helpful and courteous group, incidentally.

The ages of my children are High School and middle. All three had sales pitches on buying one of their toothbrushes. Not appropriate and annoying as they are children. My kids stated it felt super awkward listening to sales pitches and buying a toothbrush from them. I have extra dental insurance, and it is still 25% more than the same services we received at our other dentist. Last week son went in.... he sat in the chair for 20 minutes. Dentist said he would be back in 5 minutes. Today was the final straw. 14-year-old crying during cavity...they ask if she can feel it... she responds yes, and their response is we are almost done. All three kids dislike this dentist, and my experience wasn't over the top. Dentist does not listen at all, and it is a money pit. DO NOT GO here...this is Appleton, Wisconsin. There are too many dentists in the area.

I believe they do this to bilk the insurance and pry more money from me on deductible. Not a good way to do business. Notified insurance and notifying BBB. If I receive any billing will refer to the state insurance commission.

Today, I experienced something at your clinic I had never experienced before…read more While doing the initial intake interview, Hannah (dental hygienist) implied that if I exercise my right as a patient to refuse the recommended treatments such as cleaning cadence and dental procedures, I would not be a good fit for the clinic. I was trying to be as honest with her about the fact that I don't get more than one cleaning per year and that at times I may assume the risk of avoiding certain procedures that I can't afford. She continued to interrupt me and talk over me. She walked out to consult with the dentist and said that he would come at some point to discuss after the initial exam. She continued to imply that patients who don't follow your recommendations would not fit your clinic. At this point I decided to leave to avoid being charged for the exam and the doctor's conversation to follow if in the end I would still be "fired" as a new patient. It is unfortunate that in order to have a patient-provider relationship with your clinic, I have to sacrifice my right to choose whether I follow your recommendations or not.

Then when I called them They had no record of me and my info being faxed or calling my emergency contact but both my EC and myself were stuck with people that could barely speak English let alone understand what they were saying. Find out they have "departments" that don't share information or cooperate so it depends on who answers the phone. What a joke. Had to call them and the VA and get them on a 3 way phone call to figure the mess Appleton dental care or Bright dental which when they called my EC they said that name but gave the same phone number. Took over an hour. Same thing happened last week when they tried to send my info to Dental Associates, they had absolutely no internal organization or management of any kind. dentistry is already a racket, then they started blowing up my phone with texts that I never was asked permission for or told about, It is an abuse of information yet when I tried to tell them that they "K" was rude and talking over me to justify there policy nonsense telling me she's sorry for the way I fell when it's fact for everyone. Corporate Capture and any part of it will not be tolerated. It was an abuse of information. Do the American People have to initiate a Civil Revolution of Reforms and Clean Sweeps to stop these types of corporate nonsense and policies that take our rights?
