CARELESS AND INCOMPETENT I called the VSO last year for enrollment into the service they advertised on their webpage. They have repeatedly been incompetent, unresponsive and derelict in their duties. Their team members trip over each other, unable to perform basic functions. They say they will gather information and get back to me. They neglected to do that so I called them again to follow-up, now they werent aware of the situation and couldnt figure out what other members in their team were doing. They're confused and mismanaged. The VSO is all for show, telling people that they're helpinh veterans but they dont care to do so and cant even figure out what their employees they work with in the office are doing. They make very little actual effort and do not care to be of service. The minimal effort made fails in principle after multiple calls and visits it became clear they care more about givine the appearance of being helpful and telling other people that they help veterans rather than actually making effort. They need an overhaul of the management team. Their website says their director is Adam French, but its clear that he does not supervise his derelict team. read more

If you're looking for the absolute worst service imaginable, congratulations, you've found it. The Riverside County Veteran Service office redefines incompetence in ways I didn't think were possible. First, the staff. They're about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine. Asking them for assistance is like talking to a brick wall, only less productive. Their attitude suggests they were forced into customer service. The service to veterans by veterans and a nepotism hire or two is an utter train wreck. It's astonishing how they manage to consistently screw up the simplest tasks. Waiting for them to get anything done is like waiting for a miracle, except miracles actually happen occasionally. At least miracles happen more often than these public servants call you back after they repeatedly tell you they will do so. You could nail jelly to a wall faster than these people will complete any task that would actually benefit you in any way. Calling the Riverside County Veteran Service office subpar would be an insult to things that are merely subpar. It's so bad that I'm genuinely impressed by the level of ineptitude on display. It's as if their mission statement is to provide the worst experience possible. The Riverside County Veteran Service office staff is a masterclass on how to treat veterans poorly as a way of thanking them for their service. Don't fret the nepotistic home run hitting employees at the office don't disparage veterans very often as the dirty work is left to other veterans employed there who forgot what mission accomplishment, an occasional a salad, or exercise (PT) was. In summary, if you're a glutton for punishment and have time to waste, by all means, give them a try. Otherwise, stay far, far away from this disaster of veteran service these somehow employed taxpayer leeches provide. read more

I salute Riverside County veterans services office on Orange Street for their attentiveness and professionalism with genuine concern for the people. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Ms Amy who was fantastic. She assisted me promptly and directed me to Mr. Jacob Who was superb. this office staff goes beyond the call of duty and they do it with Style Plus Heart The Office area is very nice as well as pleasant. I was taken care of by both staff members never feeling rushed, Mr Jacob thoroughly checked over all of my documents to make sure all spelling was correct (such as my name), and the accuracy of my information. This happened to the point to where I'd given up on trying. In a last ditch attempt to actually get some help, I luckily got in contact with Monica Zavala who responded to my emails promptly and professionally. Over the last few weeks/month my husband has been working with Tony Santos at the Riverside Office and it's been amazing! I went into this office about two months ago to file a BDD claim. However, the "VSO" Liliam, did not file the proper claim for me. She was new to the position, unsupervised, and not accredited. In my opinion, this should have never happened. Only to make matters worse, this office is telling me there is nothing they can do to correct her error. I would not recommend this location. This has only added to the stress and anxiety I was already feeling. Now I have to worry about the timeliness of my claim being processed. read more

Went into the VA to meet with Rossi L. for a "veteran" status on my license. Upon meeting him, he was very kind and easily approachable. Rossi informed me of my rights as a Veteran and was very helpful about all the VA benefits from past injuries I never thought I qualified for. I really appreciate how he communicated with me throughout the entire process. He truly cares about veterans and knows how to take care of us. I had such a positive experience working with him. If you're really thinking of using a VA Rep to help you with any benefits or simply looking to learn more about what you're entitled to, Rossi is very knowledgeable and can help you get through all your concerns. I "met" VSR II, Rossi L., by happenstance when I called with a most basic question (about commissary privilege). During this conversation he went WAY above and beyond in asking pertinent and pointed questions, and ultimately offered his assistance in seeking a rating for issues I've had for a very very long time. I had never sought the assistance of a VSR, but I felt like he was genuine and truly wanted to help me as a fellow veteran ~ as well as help me to navigate the system. With his encouragement, knowledge, and assistance I have recently received a rating I never expected....and in all honesty it will be life changing. Just another review about the services at this location and specifically the VSR Rossi L. I've been working with Rossi for a few years. His professionalism and dedication to each veteran never goes unnoticed during my visits. I've gotten a few claim denials from the VA and Rossi has even made me feel at ease about my appeals process as we filled out the necessary paperwork in his office. Please understand....
