Such a cute cookie spot. We came here the day before Valentine's Day and got six cookies. We tried the snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, some sugar cookies and some fruity pebble cookies. They were pretty good! We'll definitely be back in the near future

Tried Riverside Cookie shoppe for the first time recently and i can say it definitely lives up to the hype. They currently have a deal where if you buy one cookie you get a second for free (if you follow them on instagram) i got the campfire cookie and my bf got the earthquake cookie. Both were delicious but the campfire cookie was my favorite. The cookies were nice and soft. Although the shop is really small they have a variety of cookies to offer with lots of unique flavors as well as the classics. Service was friendly and helpful. I will be going back for sure.

I've tried the Campfire cookie (which tastes like a gooey s'mores dream), the classic chocolate chip (perfectly crisp on the edges and soft in the center), the chocolate chip with nuts (adds the perfect crunch and depth), and the Salted Caramel Nutella (absolutely next level! sweet, salty, rich, and indulgent). My co-workers tried the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip (a cozy, hearty flavor with just the right chew), the Lemon cookie (bright, zesty, and refreshingly different), and the Peanut Butter Crunch (a peanut lover's dream. nutty, crispy, and just the right amount of sweetness). Each cookie has its own unique flavor profile, but what they all have in common is that they're baked to perfection. Favorite cookie place in the area hands down. There's no cookie we haven't liked. Our favorite is the campfire (s'mores), mms, chocolate chip, Nutella salted caramel, and peanut butter. By far the best cookie I have ever tasted. I ordered a dozen got two types just cookie and Nutella salted Carmel. The just cookie is the perfect chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate. I remember one day I was craving cookies badly in riverside and thought there wouldn't be much around to help me out. I typed in "cookies" on yelp and this place popped up. I thought, why not give it a try? We went and the shop is so cute. The cookies have a shorter diameter but they look puffy and fluffy. We got a dozen cookies: chocolate chip, m and m, and snickerdoodle because we're basic. These cookies are SO GOOD. Without a doubt the best I've ever had. The outside is slightly crunchy/crispy and the inside is soft and fluffy with the chocolate chips melting into your mouth. Seriously whenever I'm in riverside I HAVE to get these. I love supporting small businesses, especially ones like this where you can tell the people are genuine and put so much effort and love into their work. read more

They have vegan cookies! VEGAN! I added a second one for good measure for any of you like me who search that specific word. I've tried the chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and chocolate cookie (all of which were vegan) and I loved them all. I was pressed for time and called around Riverside bakeries to see if they offered delivery services for mothers day gift and the Riverside Cookie Shoppe did a fantastic job at offering that service for a a dozen specialty cookies in a nicely wrapped box along with some flowers and 2 extra decorated cookies. Prior to delivering the box of cookies they sent me a picture of what they were delivering via text message and I felt extremely pleased and so did the recipients who at the cookies. The ladies in this shop are awesome, sweet, and fun, always say hi to my little one. There are usually free samples (cut up cookie pieces), but they are usually gone by the afternoon. Let's get onto the cookies! Everything is fresh, and the size is 1 large bite or 2-3 small bites. If you're used to a Panera, or Mrs Fields size cookie then this will be noticeably smaller in size- but that doesn't take away from the great taste. I normally buy a dozen, and they don't last more than a day in our house. Dozen for $6.95, or $0.65 each. Chocolate Chip Smores (new, seasonal?) Snickerdoodle Nutella sea salt caramel M&M Peanut Butter Blossom Not-a-cookie (plain cookie, no choc chips) Sugar cookie I'm sure I left several of the other flavors. read more

I found this place (it's right across from where I get my dog's food) and wow! The store front and the interior don't scream high quality but their cookies speak volumes of chewy bliss. For ~$7 you can have one dozen cookies that range in size and flavor. I would definitely recommend the Riverside cookie (covered in chocolate with a hint of orange) and the chocolate chip cookie. These things are super fresh, not crumbly, a little chewy and oh so moist. SUPER YUM!!!!!! OH! If you can't make it to the shop they are also at the Downtown Riverside Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. read more

Let me start by saying that I rarely give five star reviews. When you give stars you're basically saying that there's no room for improvement and that it's the BEST there is. I really think there is room for improvement... With that said... We got a dozen cookies so that I could get a taste (literally) of their cookie expertise (or lack there of). Overall, they were good. Honestly, I was expecting to be let down big time, but I wasn't. The standouts where the Greek powdered sugar cookie and the chocolate chip cookie without the chocolate chips. The rest were just good/average. The owner is very friendly and the cookie shop is very cozy and cute. If you like cookies, then you'll want to hit up this spot and give support to our small businesses. read more

Established in 2013.

I purchased the space, formerly known as Pine Bakery, in February of 2013. Our customers have gravitated to our delicious wide assortment of traditional and gourmet cookies. Therefore, in January of 2015 I changed the name to focus on our main attraction -- we became Riverside Cookie Shoppe. We are excited about our new direction focusing on delicious cookies made from scratch and baked throughout the day. Hope to see you soon!

We drove an hour and a half out to try these cupcakes and I was truly saddened and disappointed with the outcome. The cupcakes are so beautiful, however quality didn't reflect the same thing and I'm so sad to say that. The cupcakes were dry, especially the tres leches cupcakes. We were expecting it to be more moist but it wasn't. All the cupcakes have the same whipped buttercream like frosting, which is unfortunate because that kind of frosting doesn't go with all flavor cakes. The frosting is definitely heavy handed and some had to be tossed because it was just too much. Give them a try for yourself, everyone has different taste. Unfortunately this was not for us.
