    This was $14+

It's okay. It's in a very convenient place and the outside eating place is well set up, despite being right by traffic and being super loud. My mom and I could not have a conversation that didn't involve yelling, since they blast music in the enclosed space. Service was good, nice people working there, but my main gripe is their prices. I'm not sure why half a sandwich is $10+ and it does not come with chips or even a damn pickle. I want to support local but not when they have delusional prices. For a 24 oz iced coffee, a half sandwich and a full sandwich (which is literally 2 regular sized loaves of bread, mind you) we paid $64 plus tip.

The cafe is conveniently located on Cannary Way in Sumner. We placed a breakfast order online and it was quick and easy. We ordered a Hot Mess, Country Hobo and a Breakfast Burrito. Rivers Edge Cafe is cute and homey.

Cost is good for the service you receive. I like that they have a drive through but also have quality food.

Oh the turkey bacon melt on sourdough was wicked good. Also had a half garden salad with ranch and the tomato and olive portions were my favorite. If I lived here, this would be myyyyy spot!

    Latte or just hot milk??

We drove through for a 16oz latte. Service was friendly but can't say I like the coffee if literally looks like hot milk and tastes as such too. I am a bit of a coffee snob so this doesn't cut it for me

The Cuban on a toasted hoagie, so yummy!!

I've been wanting to try this place for ages! I ordered online and picked it up. It was a smooth process and the gal working the window was sweet and repeated the order with my special requests. I ordered the Cuban (adding onions) and a Roast Beef deli type sandwich. It's too bad they don't come with anything ordering a whole sandwich (which run about $10-15). I thought they would have a variety of typical salads (pasta, slaw, mac etc) to offer but only saw potato salad on online menu. Ok about the sandwiches! They were both delicious! Happy to see they didn't skimp on the meat due to cost. The pulled pork on the Cuban had a mild smoked flavor which I thought was perfect, tender and all the components were flavorful. Hubby really enjoyed his roast beef/provolone saying it reminded him of a deli he loved in his teen years. He said next time he'd request cheddar to stand out more but overall pleased with it. We'd both order them again. I'm a soup lover, I noticed they offer one soup of the day so I'll ask about that next time. I also love sausage biscuits/gravy which they offer, she said breakfast is awesome so can't wait to try that too soon. Nice that they offer some outdoor seating. We will be back!

This is a busy place and after visiting I know why. The staff are helpful and patient with every new guest. Recommend items and overall just a great customer experience. The food is very good the sandwiches are amazing and we now know where we will go for a good salad. Right here for sure. You can dine in or outside and it is perfectly situated in a large parking lot so access is not an issue. Highly recommended stopping by for coffee, a beer, breakfast, lunch, actually anything you get will be great.

When the server was placing them on other tables, I thought they were cinnamon rolls from the size! I ordered the "Th-th-th-that's all folks," which consisted of crispy breaded pork chops with grits, gravy, two eggs, potatoes, and cornbread. The serving size was massive and could easily be 2 meals (I had lots of leftovers). The porkchop had a great texture and wasn't too dry. Grits were creamy, and the cornbread itself was very delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, as we had servers coming by multiple times to top off coffee. The John Daly and Pink Guava Mojito were both deliciously refreshing, which felt a little inconsiderate because now I have to think about them again. The homemade corned beef hash was fantastic, the Crab Bennies were out of this world, and the country potatoes were exactly what breakfast potatoes should be: crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not just there for emotional support. And each dish came with a yummy mini scone. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and the whole place had that relaxed, welcoming energy that makes you want to sit there longer than you planned. The truffle fries were excellent. It was crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy. They had a nice truffle flavor without being overpowering. Unfortunately, the French dip was disappointing. The bread was toasted to the point that it was hard, making the sandwich difficult to enjoy. More importantly, the beef was very sparse for a $28 sandwich. It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.

The Greenhouse Bloody Mary was lighter and fresher than a typical Bloody, made with an in-house clarified celery juice base that gave it a really bright flavor. We also tried the Rhubarb Sunrise with rhubarb purée and vodka, simple, refreshing, and super easy to drink. We started with the crab cocktail: chilled crab leg meat over ice with lemon and cocktail sauce. Really fresh and simple in the best way. The salad ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. Fresh greens, snap peas, pistachios, feta, mint, dill, and a grilled lemon vinaigrette. Super refreshing and kind of addictive. The server did a great job with the timing of the food which is always appreciated, so you don't feel rushed. We split the pork belly benedict and it was excellent, rich smoky pork belly, perfectly poached eggs, and a really solid hollandaise. The potatoes were crispy and nicely seasoned too. The French toast was ridiculously good. Thick-cut with a crunchy caramelized outside and soft custardy center, topped with strawberry-rhubarb and fresh whipped cream. Sweet but not too heavy because the rhubarb balanced everything out. By the time 11:00 rolled around the restaurant started to fill up, if you want to come when they open at 10 you could probably get in without a reservation or sit at the bar. The outdoor patio was also open and looked nice. Finished with a michelada made with pilsner, vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and a shrimp garnish. Awesome food and cocktails like always from Oxbow.
