Cost is good for the service you receive. I like that they have a drive through but also have quality food.

Oh the turkey bacon melt on sourdough was wicked good. Also had a half garden salad with ranch and the tomato and olive portions were my favorite. If I lived here, this would be myyyyy spot!

    Latte or just hot milk??

We drove through for a 16oz latte. Service was friendly but can't say I like the coffee if literally looks like hot milk and tastes as such too. I am a bit of a coffee snob so this doesn't cut it for me

The Cuban on a toasted hoagie, so yummy!!

I've been wanting to try this place for ages! I ordered online and picked it up. It was a smooth process and the gal working the window was sweet and repeated the order with my special requests. I ordered the Cuban (adding onions) and a Roast Beef deli type sandwich. It's too bad they don't come with anything ordering a whole sandwich (which run about $10-15). I thought they would have a variety of typical salads (pasta, slaw, mac etc) to offer but only saw potato salad on online menu. Ok about the sandwiches! They were both delicious! Happy to see they didn't skimp on the meat due to cost. The pulled pork on the Cuban had a mild smoked flavor which I thought was perfect, tender and all the components were flavorful. Hubby really enjoyed his roast beef/provolone saying it reminded him of a deli he loved in his teen years. He said next time he'd request cheddar to stand out more but overall pleased with it. We'd both order them again. I'm a soup lover, I noticed they offer one soup of the day so I'll ask about that next time. I also love sausage biscuits/gravy which they offer, she said breakfast is awesome so can't wait to try that too soon. Nice that they offer some outdoor seating. We will be back!

This is a busy place and after visiting I know why. The staff are helpful and patient with every new guest. Recommend items and overall just a great customer experience. The food is very good the sandwiches are amazing and we now know where we will go for a good salad. Right here for sure. You can dine in or outside and it is perfectly situated in a large parking lot so access is not an issue. Highly recommended stopping by for coffee, a beer, breakfast, lunch, actually anything you get will be great.

Love LOVE LOVE!! Just found this place today on the way to church. This is definitely our new tradition spot! We will stop here on Sundays before church with our kids. Amazing prices, perfect portions, great food and AMAZING customer service. I love family owned businesses like these. It's great place to bring your family, meet up with friends, etc. They also have a drive thru as well if you want to make a quick stop! Check it out!! We added Rivers Edge to our list of favorite cafes.

All the portion sizes are absolutely large and you can definitely take leftovers with. Our server was absolutely amazing. He took care of all of our needs very quickly and very informative about the menu and gave suggestions about what he thought was the flagship dish. Definitely could not eat all the food. It was very good cornbread was absolutely amazing and I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was a huge portion could barely eat half of it I highly recommend going to this place. Portions are absolutely massive, and most dishes are served with a cornbread topped with a cream/icing. When the server was placing them on other tables, I thought they were cinnamon rolls from the size! I ordered the "Th-th-th-that's all folks," which consisted of crispy breaded pork chops with grits, gravy, two eggs, potatoes, and cornbread. The serving size was massive and could easily be 2 meals (I had lots of leftovers). The porkchop had a great texture and wasn't too dry. Grits were creamy, and the cornbread itself was very delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, as we had servers coming by multiple times to top off coffee. This is a great breakfast spot in Sumner!

Just came by today for my birthday while family was in town. We all loved the overall charm of the…read moregrounds (there's a garden, playground, greenhouse, cafe, and venue here too). There's ample parking that's paved or across the street on gravel. The food looked amazing in photos, but I wouldn't say it was as good as it looked or sounded in descriptions. It was generally very tasty, but everything felt like it was missing just one ingredient that would make it better. It could be that I'm just more used to ethnic flavors and these were just not quite hitting the mark. For example the stratciatella was good, but if the whipped ricotta was a little more fluffy and there was some extra black pepper or lemon added it would have been perfect. The pork belly was a little dry and not worth the price for just three pieces. The thick cut truffle fries were very good however. We also tried the bucatini and it was nice but still I wanted a little more kick. It has spice but just needs a little something to punch it up. The steak sandwich two of the three of us sharing a meal loved and I'd say was the best thing we ate. The service staff was kind, considerate and gave us time and made sure our drinks were filled. There are still a lot of dishes I'd like to try and since I loved the area, it would be worth coming back again.

We joined the online waitlist at 1:00 PM on a Sunday. While we were seated fairly quickly, we still had to wait in a long line just to speak with the host to check in. The restaurant was completely packed well past 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once we sat down. It took forever just to place our order. Our chowder arrived about 10 minutes later, but it tasted like it came straight out of a can, and the accompanying dinner roll was completely flavorless and factory-made. Since we were hungry, we ate it quickly anyway. It took 45 minutes for our entrees--a Country Fried Steak and a California Benedict--to arrive. By 3:00 PM, we were famished, which made it all the more disappointing to discover our food was cold, soggy, and hard. The cubed fries, scrambled eggs, and English muffin tasted like they had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being brought to our table. For a restaurant advertising a "farm-to-table" concept, the eggs, salad, croutons, and muffin felt entirely mass-produced. The service was equally disappointing; our server never returned to refill our water. While the atmosphere is nice and the space is large enough to fit over 100 people, they seemed severely understaffed. The host stand was backed up, it took too long to order, and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. For $23 a plate, I expect significantly better quality in both the food and the service.

First time trying the brunch after many dinner visits…read more Started with cocktails and both were really good. The Greenhouse Bloody Mary was lighter and fresher than a typical Bloody, made with an in-house clarified celery juice base that gave it a really bright flavor. We also tried the Rhubarb Sunrise with rhubarb purée and vodka, simple, refreshing, and super easy to drink. We started with the crab cocktail: chilled crab leg meat over ice with lemon and cocktail sauce. Really fresh and simple in the best way. The salad ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. Fresh greens, snap peas, pistachios, feta, mint, dill, and a grilled lemon vinaigrette. Super refreshing and kind of addictive. The server did a great job with the timing of the food which is always appreciated, so you don't feel rushed. We split the pork belly benedict and it was excellent, rich smoky pork belly, perfectly poached eggs, and a really solid hollandaise. The potatoes were crispy and nicely seasoned too. The French toast was ridiculously good. Thick-cut with a crunchy caramelized outside and soft custardy center, topped with strawberry-rhubarb and fresh whipped cream. Sweet but not too heavy because the rhubarb balanced everything out. By the time 11:00 rolled around the restaurant started to fill up, if you want to come when they open at 10 you could probably get in without a reservation or sit at the bar. The outdoor patio was also open and looked nice. Finished with a michelada made with pilsner, vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and a shrimp garnish. Awesome food and cocktails like always from Oxbow. Definitely coming back for brunch with family and friends.

A quick search found Fika, very promising ratings and I'm partial to Swedish baked goods since I spend time in Sweden every year. Fika is located inside Farm12, a huge complex that even contains a school so, why not a coffee shop? When I arrived, the line was a good 30 feet out the door. Even more promising. After 20 minutes, I made it inside and got to look at the extensive selection of pastries and more. All of them looked pretty good though the only nod to Swedish baking was a cardamom bun (and one tart that also contained cardamom). The rest were standard baked goods and a few specialties for the month. Counter staff (Finn) was very helpful. I ordered a Farm12 mocha, almond croissant, and the aforementioned cardamom bun. The mocha was well made, perfect temp, and tasty. The cardamom bun dough was underproofed, dense, and gummy. Good flavor and looks. Almond croissant was buttery and flaky like you'd expect. I personally prefer my almond filling added after baking as it doesn't moisten the inside as much. Overall, this is a good addition to the area, nice people, seems well run, and handy if at the nearby park and trail. Just don't go in thinking Swedish in any way.
