Bang for your buck. Its what you would want when you just want a good home cooked solid breakfast. The portion sizes are great you'll leave full and the price keeps your wallet full as well. Always friendly great service. Just a small town good breakfast place and a great price. Overall score Wife Score 7 Husband score 8 In conclusion you get a dang good breakfast at a price that allows you to take the whole family and not break the bank. read more

We had a great experience at Ma's Place - If I had to describe Ma's, i would say its homey and nostalgic. They have both a classic diner area and a bar area. I loved that they have old-school coin machines up front for little knick knacks - haven't seen those in forever! The food was great and super filling - We ordered a few breakfast combos and everything was cooked perfectly to order. Honestly, these were the best eggs I've ever eaten at out - just soft-scrambled and not overcooked at all. The hash browns were also nice and crispy without being overdone. Service was awesome, our waitress was super friendly and constantly checking in on us. Ma's Place was great and we'll definitely be back! read more

Been a while since we were at Ma's and we came for late breakfast. Looks the same inside but hours are now 7:30am to 2pm. My wife had the Eggs Benedict with potatoes, and I had the Hobo Hash. Also got 2 coffees and a Monte Crisco sandwich to go. Our waitress Kaylee was great and kept our coffees refilled. When our meals came they were huge. Both tasted great and we could only finish half of them each. Really enjoyed our breakfast and hope they open up for dinner again by expanding their hours. read more

Never heard of this place had a bad experience at another restaurant looked on yelp and found this place. Walked in was greeted by Dawn and made to feel like we were home. I'm serious when I tell you that. We also like the fact that both the wife and I could get out of there with coffee and breakfast for under 35 bucks that's unheard of these days. Would definitely recommend going especially us older crowd. #DawnIsAnAllStar #EvenIfSheThoughtIWasOlderThanIAm. read more

Super cute little breakfast place. They have a little bar and seem to have a lot of regulars. Their menu prices are the best in town, I haven't seen something this cheap in a long time. Great service and overall a great place to go for breakfast. We will be back! read more

Wack energy. From start to finish. Apparently my husband, who has a TBI, was sliding his slippers off and putting his foot on top of the shoe and the cook came out and LOUDLY declared he is not to do that. in the middle of our meal. My husband didn't even realize he was doing it and mortified us both. We will never be back together or refer this place to anyone. read more

Home style cooling. Simple, inexpensive food. Seat yourself, kind wait staff and again very reasonably priced. Nothing fancy, just a diner serving decent food, at decent prices something for everyone. My family enjoyed the pancakes as well as the chicken fried steak. read more

Ha! We stood around outside on a sat with the locals chatting away. It was fun. I had dropped off my doggies at Banfield for dental work today so we decided to try it! We looked over the reviews and menu carefully. I decided to try the chicken fried steak. And.... I'm gonna have a Bloody Mary today!! Hubby is having steak n eggs. My BMary is good and no frills but very good! Love the olive. read more

seated immediately despite a busy weekend crowd with coffee on my table and my order taken in less than a minute. Second time back not as good. My husband came back for the chicken fried steak and it was 1/2 the size from the first time. The sign was missing so we weren't sure if it was the same place. Our service was good. Atmosphere was ok. We probably won't come back. read more

Simple diner with good food. Breakfast specials are a great deal. Very friendly and attentive service!

Sunday Mornings are busy, and parking is limited, so plan accordingly. With that being said, the staff was nice and the food was good. The price is also very reasonable for what they serve you. My only disappointment was the take out charge for each itm. read more

Super laidback cafe/ diner like atmosphere with tasty breakfast options. I was a bit disappointed that the cinnamon rolls are frozen and not fresh but everything that we ordered tasted right and was cooked well. Good place to grab a super reasonable breakfast and relax a bit in the morning. Family friendly. Kind wait staff. Clean. read more

Found this place while out shopping & decided to give it a try. Average patron age inside was about 72. The Good: Prices. Can't beat 12$ for a plate. 4$ coffee and 4$ bacon and I made it out for 20$+tip. Everything was cheap, and their menu was short and sweet. You don't have to flip through a tri-fold map of 100 choices to find what you want. The Bad: Unfortunately, the food was sub-par. I got the Benedict, because that's how I rate breakfast places. Came with hash browns. I got a side of bacon as well. The hollandaise was straight from the warmer and clumpy, ham was okay, and English muffin didn't seem toasted, which makes it very hard to cut apart. The eggs were on par. A small portion of hash browns. The bacon was spot on, not too crispy and not too rubbery. The coffee was watery with no kick. The Ugly: Cleanliness. My Moms place wouldn't have looked like this. At one point I was contemplating canceling my food and leaving. I sat at the bar which has a partial view of the cooks and kitchen. Beside the waitress (not mine) who was obviously sick and hacking every 5 minutes, I saw a guy sitting with his butt in the cooler for about 3 minutes to cool off I can only assume. The grime and dust bunnies on the wall and floor and hood vent and food station were all very visible. Just screams laziness by staff of ownership to let it fall so far behind. The Skinny: I won't go back. Even with the cheap prices. Too sketchy for me. read more

This place! So I was going to make homemade biscuits and gravy (yes, from scratch) this morning only to find that I was missing ingredients. UGH! So we Yelped and found this place. Parking lot was full, so that's a good sign. We walked through the front door and immediately were transported back to Grandma's house by the smells and the feel...in an awesome way. The hostess and our server, and the other ladies who checked on us during our meal were all awesome. The food was delicious and big portions. My husband's gravy didn't taste like it came out of a package. In fact, all the food I tasted seemed to be from scratch. It was delicious and we all left happy. Thank you Ma's Place. We will be back. read more

Classic 60s aka reto homestyle restaurant with old timers talking and drinking coffee, senior citizens, families and blue collar workers all in a very easy going, comfortable dining experience. Ma's dining room provides booths and old English like wrap around chairs and curtains fitting for the warm atmosphere and good cooking you will have. The biscuits are fluffy and the gravy is tasty and smooth. If you like coffee and want an endless refills then you have found your meca. Friendly servers and food comes timely and hot. Turn back time for a meal and see what it was like before cell phones and fast food. read more

Not welcoming to a big group. Since one was already there we had to share one menu between 6 of us because we were being ignored until the waiter finally came & asked if we were ready to order. The server was not happy to be serving us whether it be because we were not all American or a big group but everything asked felt like a chore. It became obvious when she never came back & someone else finished our service. read more

Nice little dinner with big portions. Good pricing. A little high but so is everywhere. The bathroom could be cleaner.

This restaurant has friendly waiters who make you feel right at home because they remember your order and you! Reasonable priced food as well. However, as the observant person I am, I find it uncomfortable that the cook sits outback to smoke a cigarette but Doesn't wash his hands when he comes back inside. I find it disgusting that some servers walk around with a mouthful of food, as they come from the back with MY plate of food. Or that they too do not wash their hands after clearing dishes from a table that had left & immediately grab my food that is ready, & deliver it to me. Health & sanitation 101 people! read more

Food is good, service is great, ambiance the '70's.. The need to get new chairs in Bar and decent floor:).

Been enjoying the breakfast here for years, it's all good and reasonably priced. They have recently painted and have new flooring, it's nice. I only have one bad note, the bathrooms are absolutely filthy!! I've seen cleaner gas station bathrooms! I almost felt sick walking in the ladies bathroom, seriously the very worst in everyway! read more

Really good food and not too pricey. Would definitely come back for breakfast. Only reason I gave it a four star was because the wait was long and the place could use a good cleaning. It's like those hole in the wall places that you see in the movies that just needs a little more light and a few dusters. But food is good. read more

This place and the food and waiters were amazing! I got the hobo hash and the potatoes were cooked perfectly!!! You know how you go somewhere and the potatoes aren't browned right? Or not fully cooked? This place was on point. Their presentation of food is 5 stars. Will be coming here most sundays. read more

What a nice and cozy place this was. Little dark, but I could see why this place gets really busy sometimes, especially on the weekends. It was hard to choose between the hobo hash, country fried steak, and a few other dishes. But I went for the uniquely named one, and man it was good. It was a mix of everything scrambled, and it hit the spot. The server who welcomed us in was outstanding from the beginning. Didn't realize until the end that she was Korean. Her name was Jane Lee I believe, and she was just so great serving my two aunts and I. Ask for her if she's there, and tip her well if she does serve. Will definitely be back. Excited to try the eggs Benedict that one of the aunts had, or the fried steak! read more

My family and I thoroughly enjoy Ma's place. Anytime we go we are given exceptional service. This last time we ordered was during covid-19 so it was we little bit hectic , but we were served with a smile on the gals face as she handed us our food. I ordered the fish & chips which is my FAVORITE. He ordered steak and he said it was pretty dang tasty and cooked to perfection! We went there on a Sunday at 1:45, front door locked so went around to the bar. Walked in, sign says wait to be seated. So we waited.. and waited and waited. Wait staff walked by looking at us several times. Finally asked what's going on, she said closed at 2. I asked why no sign saying so and she rudely said would be nice if ya owned the place. Went into the bar and all I can say is it's so dirty and stinks so bad. Can't imagine how nasty the food would be... didn't get that far. This place is old and needs to be shut down. read more
