I had the best experience I've ever had this week purchasing anything at all, car related or not. Which I find ironic because every time I needed to buy a car in the past, the experiences always ended up being the worst experiences I've ever had purchasing something. This is the only car dealership I have ever been to in my life whose employees don't do any fast talking, won't try to swindle you, and don't try to up-sell you. This is also the only place where they are genuinely happy to help you, from start to finish, and work cohesively as a team to ensure you are happy the entire time. There were no curve balls, no last minute hidden fees, and no reason to distrust this place, something I honestly never thought I'd be able to say about a dealership. To be honest, I wouldn't ever classify this place as a "dealership" because dealerships are such awful places with scam artist and sharks. I would call this place a Mitsubishi family that can't wait to spread the love with new fellow Mitsubishi owners. Not too happy when I come across a dealership that advertises a price on a used car, and then when you look at the so called "small print" , that price is in addition to a $1900 down payment and you must finance through them. Just another one of those "used car salesman", misleading dealerships. Please read all small print. I believe a price you see should be the price that the item is being offered at. 1. Had an appointment, salesman never showed up. 2. The front office manager 'Andreas' was hitting on my female friend multiple times. 3. The GM Jimmy was very disrespectful, totally unhelpful, very pushy and lacks basic manners. He slammed the door on me, didnt tell me anything about the car we were looking at, instead he just toked on his cigarette the entire time he was outside with us. He was also yelling at one of his employees in front of customers. He's a despicable person! He tried to sell us a bill of goods on the car we were looking at, meanwhile the car was filthy on the inside, smelled like cigarettes and there were dings and scratches all on the outside of the car. 4. They have the worst service manager took my vehicle there for oil change and twice they sent my maintenance to far ahead and I complained about it the first time when they set it 16000 miles to far took it back they had to put a computer on it to set it correctly then took it to them again they set it to high again and I was told by mechanic they had nothing to do with the maintenance light so I took it to Mitsubishi 112 and they set it back for what it was suppose to be I was told to never bring my car there again mind you that is where I purchased it from read more

Never witnessed such an unorganized, unprofessional car "dealership" in my life. I have never felt so uncomfortable to be in a establishment of any kind like I was tonight. Such a shame I lost a near perfect car for me due to ridiculous fees that seemed very shady for them to be charging. Especially did not appreciate the rude salesman that interrupted a private conversation to put his two cents in and question our knowledge. Save your time and go somewhere else literally anywhere else. ALSO I called prior to come down for a test drive on a specific vehicle and as soon as I get in to start the drive the gas light was on and they made me drive to the gas station to put gas in the car given the salesmen pumped the gas still i am completely appalled at the audacity of these people. They show up as the company making request to my bank. Their subsidiary: The absolute worst car buying experience I've ever had! NYC Motorcars of Lynbrook 875 Sunrise Hwy, Lynbrook, NY 11563 I saw their car advertised on TrueCar.com for $12,990.00 with a note of "Upfront Price Available" I checked the availability of the car and got a response from TrueCar.com that the car was available and that I secured a $300 discount meaning the car would then cost me $12,690. Ashley from the dealership contacted me confirming the price certification and wanted to schedule a time for me to visit. In my response to Ashley I made it clear that I had my own plates and didn't need their license and registration service. Leaving only the price of the car and tax to be paid. A gentleman by the name of Darius called me and finally confirmed the car was available on their lot and we scheduled a 9am visit on Monday. Before I got to the dealership I contacted my bank and gave them the particulars of the deal $12,690 base price plus tax, and worked out financing, the bank was good with the deal I had no issues but to confirm the condition of the car. I got to the dealership and repeated my desire to forgo their title and registration fees and I went ahead and inspected the vehicle and took it for a test drive. After the test drive I gave them my banking details with specific instructions that it be sent directly to my bank and waited for the administrative confirmation of the deal. After waiting what seemed to be a bit long I walked outside and called my bank to find out what the issue was, only to hear that the amount they requested was VASTLY different from what they advertised. This dealership requested Base price: $16,400 Dealership fee: $75 Tax title & license: $1782 Down Payment: $1000 Total: $17,257 Note: I only got this information from my bank after I left the dealership I confronted them about the discrepancy and asked for a breakdown of what they sent the bank and got this made up document instead. Base price: $12,690 Tax: $1480.35 Fees$/Lender: $332.00 AMO$/Opt: $3990.00 Down payment: $1000 Total: $17,492.35 After confronting them, I did my best to damn near beg them to correct this issue and sell the car for the price they advertised. The finance manager (Darius) was not interested and proceeded to provide me with a litany of excuses for why he needed to do what he's doing and even tried to convince me that he was finding me the best deal possible. I waited in the parking lot for hours, while I contacted my bank, truecar.com and finally my lawyer to find out how I could cajole them to do the right thing. I failed, however it must be noted that truecar.com and my bank both escalated the issue and promised that they would reach out to the dealership's owner/manager to get to the bottom of this. I'm an essential worker, I work daily, and because of their indifference and greed I lost a day of work and will lose my appointment at the DMV for the following day (this took weeks to confirm). They also sent my info to another bank, even though I wrote in all caps on the form instructions that it be sent ONLY to my bank with a reference number for them to use. The car they're selling is manual transmission, Darius himself admitted that it has been on their lot for a while. I'm still quite confused as to why I currently don't own the car. The best of best dealership !! I mean even the owner Pete comes and talks to you like a real customer, no car dealer feeling . I had the worst and painful experience at Mitsubishi 112 after all my years a loyal customer of Mitsubishi Autos . I was done and going to give up on Mitsubishi after all my years of buying and leasing their cars . But , found this Gem Dealership in Riverhead!! Nobody pushed me or played any back and forth dealer games . Sean my dealer was just a regular guy and talk cars to Sports . Ron the sales Manager was sweet , honest , patient and cool guy . JC another dealer there was awesome, he just talked about everyday stuff and he was so helpful. JC was not even my dealer he just helped cause he was sweet man . Then comes to Finance Manager Ryan the man . Straight up funny, honest , outgoing gentlemen and treated my wife like a lady . Not like dirty pig Mario at 112 Mitsubishi. I never had a wonderful experience with a awesome staff !! I'm sure I forgot some folks , that because everyone stop to say hello and made sure every single little thing was perfect. I did not even feel like I was in a Car Dealership, more of someone house just hanging out . Pete you are a awesome owner and I hope 112 Mitsubishi shuts down, cause there owner lied and said he was someone else !! Great all around Team , my family and I are so happy. I really didn't want to write this review but really who would want to be took advantage of and be faced with the fact of not wanting someone else to go through what I have,so my husband got a car from here a couple years ago that is $27,000 and now the dealership has new management,,and so we thought since I was in need of a vehicle we would go back here,well big mistake,we was told by Jimmy we only need to put 2,000 down and not to do more but then was told by the other guy we needed to put 4,000 down.a 6,000 dollar car ended up being 14,000 and our loan shows 10,000 so how does that make sense,IT DONT.That is why mr JImmy got us lunch while we was there because of the money they just robbed from us.Then not a week later the check engine light comes on i took it in and it was the Cadillac converter so a day off work to fix that good thing we paid for the extended warranty but just today had to take in with another check engine light on and of course the warranty will not pay for the other Cadillac converter so I'm out $1000.I haven't even had this car 3 months.the service guy in the back is very nice but listen if you don't want to be took advantage of go somewhere else,you are not getting what you pay for,this place will act like they want what's best for you but trust me that is so far from what they really want.they can't keep employees.You will notice just how friendly Jimmy is when his boss is there and how rude he will talk to you when the boss is not.ITS A SHAME HOW THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE AND SELLING YOU WHAT YOU ARE BEING TOLD IS A GREAT CAR BUT IS NOT.please go somewhere else save your money you deserve not to be took advantage of.... read more
