I was told my brakes and tires needed replacing, and as I commute long distances I wanted to make sure my vehicle was well equipped to handle winter conditions on the LIE. After my inspection was finished, I was quoted $1,079 for the brake replacement, new tires and the inspection, but when I went to pick up my car, I was charged in two installments (as the repairs took place on separate days) and the total was nearly $1,400--almost $320 more than what I was told the total would come out to be. To make matters worse, they removed my front license plate covers and replaced them with their own advertising covers without asking for my permission. Not only was I upset by the unauthorized advertising on my vehicle, but they also put my front license plate on upside down. (See attached photo for proof.) The final straw was hearing my brakes grinding after they had supposedly replaced them. This was incredibly disappointing and left me feeling taken advantage of. I had hoped to find a trustworthy auto shop for future service needs close to work, but instead, I feel like this place took advantage of my situation as a young woman needing an inspection. I won't be returning, and I strongly recommend you get a second opinion before trusting this business with your vehicle.

Anyhow, was very specific about it. The person on the phone was kind enough to go check and confirm having 6 quarts. I hop in a vehicle and head from Southampton to Hampton Bays at 9AM on a monday knowning the trade parade will be there for the return yet fine with it since they had the oil. I get there and some clown who says "I spoke to you" goes in the back to get the oil. After 2 minutes the clown returns with 15W-50 and says this is all we have. Next the trade parade and a wasted hour. What morons.

So I returned to the store, with the correct bulb taken from my car. They were very nice and allowed me to exchange the opened incorrect bulbs for the correct bulbs, which were fortunately on sale.
