    The GM is so rude and obnoxious. Do not do business here. Plenty of other dealerships that you can do business with. Stay away from here!

In 2021 I was looking for a 2018 Honda HRV and there weren't any available near me. 2018 is an awesome year for reliability and it was during the pandemic. So everyone was holding onto them. I remember coming to the dealership here in Riverhead, and I didn't feel any personal connection. Fast forward to 2025 and now my mom is looking for an excellent used car. The 2018 Honda HRV STILL tops reliability lists for the HRV and used cars in general. So when I saw Apple Honda list one with low mileage, mom and I were there first thing Monday morning right when it opened. Little did we know the staff were going to be just as wonderful as the car we bought!! YOU MUST SEE RICARDO RODRIGUEZ for a wonderful sales experience. He greeted us at the door. He respected everything about our visit: That I knew what car I was looking for. That my mom and I had time constraints and only had an hour to spend there before we could return the next day. He was such a sweetheart, so pleasant, and did I mention he is an opera singer? The day we signed he sang for us (we are a musical family) and you hold your breath he's that amazing. He also handled my 78-year-old mother's test driving very well! So informative and patient with her. Once we came back the second day to take care of all details, we got to work with Peter and Rich(Richard). These gentleman are such a pleasure to do business with. The whole time we knew this was the right car for my mom, this was the right dealership for my mom!! The staff is happy and so wonderful to do business with. It felt like being helped by family, from Ricardo, to Peter, to Richard. Just amazing. These are REAL people treating you like you are real people. My mom has no regrets and we hope to stay in touch with all these wonderful people! No yucky schmooze here! No impersonal walls. Ricardo was honest and transparent throughout our entire conversations about the car, as well as Richard about the warranty and financing.     I had the best experience I've ever had this week purchasing anything at all, car related or not…read more Which I find ironic because every time I needed to buy a car in the past, the experiences always ended up being the worst experiences I've ever had purchasing something. This is the only car dealership I have ever been to in my life whose employees don't do any fast talking, won't try to swindle you, and don't try to up-sell you. This is also the only place where they are genuinely happy to help you, from start to finish, and work cohesively as a team to ensure you are happy the entire time. There were no curve balls, no last minute hidden fees, and no reason to distrust this place, something I honestly never thought I'd be able to say about a dealership. To be honest, I wouldn't ever classify this place as a "dealership" because dealerships are such awful places with scam artist and sharks. I would call this place a Mitsubishi family that can't wait to spread the love with new fellow Mitsubishi owners. I am so proud and excited to say that I am officially a Mitsubishi driver myself, and a lifetime loyal one at that.

Just another one of those "used car salesman", misleading dealerships. Please read all small print. I believe a price you see should be the price that the item is being offered at. Hey, I can sell you a brand new truck for $1. With a 50k down payment, get it? 2 stars because I did not go to the dealership, they lost me on the advertisement.

You want to make sure the person you're working with actually listens to you and has your best interest at heart. Ethan was that person for us. Ethan listened to my concerns, was patient, professional and likeable.. he went above and beyond. I never felt like Ethan was trying to sell to me; instead I felt like he was a consultant there to advise me and help me make the best choice for me. I originally visited the dealership over a year ago, but wasn't ready to make a decision on a car (If you remember, a year ago cars were really difficult to get). Ethan remembered, and was STILL super patient and responsive. He helped me drive away with a car that I love! Plus Volkswagens are great cars. I usually take it to different VW location though, but this time it was more convenient for me to take it to Riverhead Bay VW. So, I changed oil and filter as they recommended. A few weeks later I have oil leak . Took it back , waited six hours, they said they forgot to close dipstick properly last time . Ok . They told me they fix it . Next morning my car is covered in oil again. I took it back , in 20 minutes they telling me i need to replace PCV, which apparently was damaged due to oil leak. after all they CHARGED me $1350! The worst service ever !!!! All parts were not too expensive, but they charged $700 for labor to fix their own mistake. What a scam.

It had been in an accident that they did not disclose..... months later the paint started peeling off my grill I took it down there and they will do nothing about it... Salesperson wasn't very friendly, but seemed straightforward which I appreciated instead of not getting straight answers. Was told they work with my chosen bank I wanted and they would handle the loan- called me with the rate after I left the deposit and it was 2% higher than the credit union posted on their site. Was given excuses and told there was no way I would get their listed rate- went to credit union that day, got approved for and finalized the loan at the rate that was posted (so did not go through dealership for this)- that was lie 1 but okay, whatever worked out for me. Schedule everything, confirm all numbers via text with salesperson, get there and am told very casually all the sudden that I have to write a personal check for a "discrepancy" in price difference. I was so fed up by the principle of it I told them to give me the keys to my trade in back I was done, so they panicked backtracked and wrote it off to close the deal. Fast forward- it's now November 2025, 4k miles and my husband noticed a tear on the sidewall of the tire. We knew we had to replace it, so I called riverhead GMC and told them, asked if there was any warranty. The service rep I spoke with was so friendly and accommodating, agreed needed to be replaced immediately, assured me it was covered under warranty. I texted her a photo of it and she said was so accommodating she got me an appointment same day and again confirmed it would be covered under warranty, and that they would do full servicing at the appointment as well. We live 45 minutes away but my husband left work early, took our two kids and two cars out there, drop the truck off. A half hour later I get a call saying there was "concrete dust" on the tire which meant I hit a curb? And it would not be covered. Obviously we're very annoyed at this point since we ran around to go out there due to them telling us it was covered- we get back there and my husband goes to look at the tire with the mechanic, who tells her he has no idea why anyone would tell her anything about concrete dust. After my husband explains that we drove all the way out there because it was confirmed it was covered, they agree to cover it. We leave again, come back to pick up the truck and the paperwork shows that tire rotation occurs but my husband sees it did not. Paperwork also showed that the tire pressures were checked, we checked them when we got home and they were all off, so that obviously also didn't occur. There was glue residue covering my tire rims that the mechanics left, so my husband went to clean it off and now noticed I was given a different spec tire replacement. We are currently in the market for a GMC sierra 2500 and cannot stress enough how much we will avoid this dealership, which is unfortunate when I've spent 80k with them and all I expected was to not feel lied to and taken advantage of throughout every experience with them.
