Turns out, the car was stolen from the lot and the manager (I don't have a name) refused to look at the security tapes, accusing my mom of never dropping off the car there in the first place. They knew to expect our vehicle as we call to make sure each time. We only found out after calling in the afternoon since we hadn't heard back in the usual time that our car was looked at, ready, etc. Once report was filed, police got to look at the footage. No apology for not believing my mom dropped off the car or just general acknowledgement that their customer's vehicle was stolen. Again, this was not our first time dropping off the car before opening so we knew we didn't leave the keys in the wrong place.
