I recently moved to the area and this is now my local Kia dealership. The previous dealership did work on my brand new car because ive had nothing but issues with it and did not secure the door panel correctly when completing the job. I guess now with it getting warmer the plastic/rubber expanded and it was getting stuck and i was physically getting stuck in my car 8 months pregnant having to climb out another door. I brought here and they treated me incredibly. I was really nervous due to my previous experience but they really went as above and beyond as possible. Technically they didnt even have to fix the issue as it was done by the previous dealership but they did with no problems and no cost to me. I'm so impressed and so happy that I have a reliable team to work with when it comes to service. Vinny has no caliber to be a Manager, He was not aware that the machine was down. He never got up from his chair or invited me into his office to discuss the issue. He shout everything from his comfortable chair. Someone could've come to me as soon as I walked in that morning and said the machine was down and offer solutions. No one did. I found out the hard way after 1hr and 20 mins. I asked for my car key and took my business somewhere else. It's very unfortunate... such poor customer service.... Even the guy that checks in cars Miami came to make a scene and scream at me, been so disrespectful... and this is all in front of Vinny, the Customer Service Manager !!!! Not here, Riccie was fair and allowed me anytime because I was the first one so when he knew that I was interested he held the Vehicle for me. The vehicle is in Massapequa New York so I needed a little bit of time since I live in Bergen County, New Jersey, which is about an hour and a half away with traffic. It was about two hours. He was very communicative about the whole process and how to get everything set up beforehand in case I decided to take the vehicle so that way it will be a quick transaction and I was not obligated to take the vehicle if I decided against it. I had a wonderful experience. The car was detailed beautifully. He was 100% true to price. The price he had listed was the price I went home at and since I'm out of state I will go to the DMV myself which is fine. He helped me get my enterprise vehicle to enterprise and then sent a car to pick me up. Overall, I was really pleasantly surprised that I absolutely loved the car to drive down get in the car during the test I'd be allowed to have that time with the car to feel how I felt and I opened every window and everyone doors and everything used each car was awesome When my car was totaled, I was so afraid that I was not at the front a car that was as nice since I had just spent 15,000 on it last year and insurance never gives you the same amount but I found a car that I honestly think is nicer and although it had a little bit more miles like by 10,000 maybe this brand will last longer than the car I had and I couldn't be happier. From the time I saw the car to the time I left, I was there for 1.5 hours. The paperwork, registration, inspection, and transferring plates was about 45 mins - 1 hour altogether. In late February 2026 I had an oil change and they came back to me with recommendations that would have cost me nearly $2,400. Even though I had just purchased my Mercedes as part of their Certified Pre-Ownef program. It took nearly 2 hours for what was a simple oil change. Part of that cost was for 2 new front tires, which I agreed to. That was on 3/3/26. I have my front driver's side tire losing air consistently and texted 2 different people regarding any recourse that I may have, being that it has only been 5 weeks ago since the tires were installed. Not a peep from anyone at this dealership. I really have no use for businesses that are reactive rather than proactive when it comes to customer satisfaction. Before retiring last May, I worked in sales and customer service for approximately 30 years. I would never consider leaving a customer hanging. At the very least, I would acknowledge their concerns if I didn't have an immediate answer to their concerns. I purchased a new tire myself and will have my local mechanic install it when it arrives today. I will never return to Mercedes Benz of Massapequa.
