For Saturday morning, when they opened, I received a call late Friday to confirm my appointment and a text Saturday morning to confirm. As soon as we sat down with a salesman, he said we might have sold the truck this morning. Even though I was there before they opened, he checked and said it's not sold, and we went on a test drive. After the test drive, the salesman said, "We just received a deposit on the truck?" I had my son call back after a week and was told it was still available. Terrible. Bought a brand new Jeep wagoneer 4e, just a few months ago for my son. He has been stuck on the side of the road for 2 days now in NJ, with a battery issue they call in Brick Mode. The local dealership in NJ said they won't even look at it for 4 days, no loaner cars available. The first tow truck that came said they didn't know how to get car in neutral, he needs to wait for someone that knows how to deal with an electric car. Went to Jeep Westbury where I bought the car to see if they help out ( as my son is still waiting for second tow truck), possibly expedite the process, anything?? They said there's absolutely nothing they can do. That if they called the NJ dealership would be insulted, probably make the wait time longer if they called on my behalf??? What?? That was after the woman at the front desk told me it may be a while to speak to someone because it is the"end of the month" Jeep WESTBURY should be embarrassed. I was also told I could hire a lawyer and put in a claim under the lemon law. This was the last thing in the world I was looking for ..All I wanted was a safe, reliable car for my son. Service is a nightmare. I drove my Ram there because the battery died on a Friday morning. Got there at 10am, met with the Service Advisor, Kelly Cooper. I was led to believe it would be looked at the same day but when I called in the afternoon it hadn't even been brought in the shop yet. I was told it would be looked at on Saturday. Ok, so I call Kelly on Saturday afternoon about 3pm only to find out they ran diagnostics and I need a battery! No shit! But they need my approval to replace it at a cost of over $800. Then they want to rerun diagnostics again to see what codes I have. When I ask when I'll get my truck back I'm told Tuesday! When I ask what happened to Monday? I was told by Kelly her team is off on Monday. This is all bullshit, never in my life have I had to deal with a service advisor like this. That day we decided not to move forward. My husband would consistently keep in touch with CJ asking question and checking for promotions etc. Today my husband finally made the decision and we finally decided to call CJ. We arrived at the dealership and upon his arrival he greeted us and started discussing our needs with us. I'm have to admit, I can be a pain when it comes to negotiating, but CJ was always smiling and willing to work with us. We felt respected and that our needs were both acknowledged and met. I think it was important to CJ to keep us as customer. This by the way would be our second purchase from this same dealership, this was before CJ but we also had a good experience. Due to coronamona you have to check in and wait for a salesperson to come help you. We ended up dealing with Phil who was really a pleasure to work with. He was patient, NOT pushy and very knowledgeable. We didn't feel like we were being "sold" as Phil was very meticulous and made the entire process seamless. He worked with us to figure out our trade in, test drive and all of our other questions. My only reason for taking 1 star off was the wait. We did have to wait at pretty much every turn but this wasn't Phil's fault at all. I guess it's just part of the game. I actually had contacted a former dealer where I bought a jeep 13 years ago and as much as I like my salesman, he was not able to offer me considerable deal to incentivize my coming in to purchase the vehicle. Then contacted the sales person at a dealership, not close to me, but he was extremely responsive and helpful, but did not have exact vehicle we wanted and Third dealer I contacted was actually the closest to me and they made it very difficult to schedule an appointment. I was also surprised that one sales person at a different dealership with whom I had spoken at length never got back to me with the information that he had promised and despite three more phone calls to him in the subsequent in two weeks, I still never received a call. When I reached out to Westbury Chrysler Jeep, I was immediately created well on the phone by the concierge who then said that the sales person will call me back. She did tell me that it might be a while since they're busy with clients in the dealership but within an hour I received a call back from Kystal who immediately proved how knowledgeable she was resourceful, thorough and organized. Within the same day, we agreed upon a vehicle and my dealings with her subsequently have been nothing but stellar. I then had business with Amy who equally a great reflection on this dealership. Both Krystal and Amy are always extremely polite and no matter how very busy they are. They always get back to me with answers in a very timely fashion. I have a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I leased through this dealership. The vehicle has a malfunctioning infotainment system and more recently, there are now clear coat and paint failures. Two weeks ago, I brought the vehicle in for service. I would have brought it in sooner but I had to wait over a month for a loaner. After having the vehicle for almost a week (with no update) I called the service department only to be told that there was nothing they could do about the infotainment issues. I was told to come pick up my car and return the loaner. They said that "maybe" in a few months there "might" be an update to resolve this issue. This week, I called again after I noticed the paint issues. The service department told me i could bring the car in, but I would have to wait again over a month for a loaner! The management of this dealership has not returned my calls regarding the paint issues. It's obvious that once you drive off with your new vehicle if something is wrong, you will be on your own. This is hands down the worst vehicle and dealer experience I have had in my 30+ years of automobile ownership. ***Update as of 7/31/24*** I have now spoke with Ellen from Customer Relations who understood my frustration and is trying to assist me with resolving these issues.
