Leased a 2019 CX5 (which I LOVE). Amanda Hoffman was very helpful and easy to deal with. I did all of the negotiating through email. I THINK I got a good deal but it's always a little hard to know for sure. Numbers aside it was as painless as leasing a car can be. I think I was there for 20 minutes tops signing papers and then my car was all ready to go. Can't complain about that. BEWARE!!!!! Service department is one big scam. They fixed my 2019 Kia Optima back in January. Called to tell me I had to approve for an oil change before they could diagnose issue with car because they said it had no oil. Had to bring it back the other day, checked oil prior, they call me saying car has no oil, need approve oil change before they can diagnose issues. Had car towed from there to another Kia dealer and guess what? car had oil just like I said. These people cant be trusted!!! read more

I rarely write reviews, good or bad. I have been buying vehicles from Eagle for over 25 years. I have never had any kind of problem with sales, finance or service. No idea what is going on there but that has all changed. First of all, it appears that they have completely replaced the people who work there. Not only have they been replaced, they have not been replaced with people of the same professionalism. I was notified by mail of a recall. Pretty serious one that may involve fire in the engine. I made an appointment and brought my car in. Once I arrived, I was told by the people behind the service desk that they COULD NOT provide the recall inspection. I took a day off from work, drive over a half an hour and had a ride meet me there. When I inquired as to why I was not told that BEFORE I rearranged my day I was told "my bad". She then gave me a piece of paper to put my name and number on and said she would call as soon as the software came in. That was May 5th. Almost 3 months ago. In the meantime, I have taken my car to a different dealer, closer to me and they have taken care of it. Unfortunately, I will no longer be using or recommending Eagle. Such a shame for a place to go way downhill. read more

2015 Kia back up camera not working. Went to service for recall issue and also explained about camera. $200 diagnostic charge to determine what's wrong with it. I was told either the camera is bad which is a $700 fix or the radio where the camera transmits to which is a lot more. After they failed to diagnose the problem, they still wanted to charge me $200. My complaint was that I still don't know the problem. They reduced it to $100 and I paid that to get my car back. I went on Amazon and bought a replacement camera and after 20 minutes of labor, the back up camera works great. Save your money and don't go to this dealership read more

Up until today, I have had a great experience with Eagle Kia.  Steve S in sales was extraordinary, above and beyond excellent, and I appreciate all of his help, care, and patience.  Today, things changed, in regard to their service team.  I rarely write reviews, good or bad, but I feel so wronged, that I feel this should be shared to warn others. My new lease (got January 2023), started to have issues with the engine today, and the engine was shaking to the point it shook the entire car, and the check engine light came on.  I documented this with photos at 6:39 AM and 6:42 AM, when I was about to leave for work.  It was a cold morning, but I gave the car 20 to warm up, and I reluctantly drove.  The car was shaking and experiencing low RPM, and was shaking harder as we went into higher gears (parkway).  I called Kia,, and went in with the car a short time later.  By that time, the temperature outside went up at least 10 degrees, and the car went back to normal (other electrical issues and all). I understand that cold affects cars, but this is a new vehicle.  While I was there, I figured I could use my second free oil change, as I was due.  Well, come to be told that the computer (which records all recent check engine lights and it had only been 2 hours between the issue and bringing to dealership), did NOT pick up the check engine light.  I  told them that this is definitive proof that something is wrong with the car's computer, because in my hand, I showed them a picture of the check engine light on from this morning (pointing out today's date time), and they just kept shutting me down with the phrase "The car is running fine with no issues" over and over and OVER again at my face, when I had clear proof in my hand of an issue, now two, since the computer failed to catch it.  They denied my evidence. I attached it to let you all make your own decisions. Then they come to tell me that the second oil change - surprise! - was not covered, and charged me $108 for what I can only assume was liquid gold, and no one even asked me what type of oil I wanted, to boot. It's pretty standard fare to get 2 free oil changes with a new vehicle, so if nothing else, they should be embarrassed that they ae not even operating up to local field standards, while lying to my face.  My husband was with me and remembered quite well, not that they cared at all. They went off about how it's all in the computer, and I was not believed about ANY of this.  Literally, even with a photo of the issue in my literal hand, shown to the man in charge of service. I hate to wonder if I am not being believed because I am a woman in the service part of a dealership, and women are statistically not believed by doctors or other professionals. Go ahead folks, look that fact up for yourselves. I am beyond livid and will never buy from Kia again, will never refer to anyone again, and I hope to trade in this car before it explodes, which I'm sure will happen somehow not under the warranty.  This is substandard service, especially for someone who is providing proof of the issue.  Literally disgusted, and I go to bed at night thanking God I am not these people. read more

I was told that we get a refund if I changed my mind on a car purchase. It is impossible to get the refund. They will ghost you if you choose not to purchase your car. I would recommend going to a different dealership as there are many in Long Island. If you actually read this review, go elsewhere. What a shameful business. Today my 90-year-old mother went to get her recall done on her Kia and the service department informed her that she needed a new inspection that was about to expire. With that said they inspected her car and told her that she needed a wheel hub, brake pads, rotors, and a side marker light and it would cost somewhere in the ballpark of $800. She refused to service came home to me upset and explain to me what happened. As a mechanic myself I verified the information and it was total BS. I wouldn't buy a bicycle from these guys. I ended up purchasing the vehicle in the end but that was after 2 weeks of haggling over the price. I've never paid window sticker prices before, never will, and didn't but "their window stickers reflect the already marked down price". Very unprofessional and inexperienced sales team. The finance manager called in sick when I was supposed to be picking the vehicle up. I asked twice if it had been serviced, to which they replied yes both times. When I got home I checked the oil and it wasn't clean. The oil life gauge read 25%. Stay away. ****This reflects Eagle Kia used sales not the GM sales team that are in the same building. read more

Bad vibes from this place. Was interested in a vehicle they had on their lot. Went in to test drive and claimed they don't do test drives on Sundays. Woman at the front was rude. We ended up being able to drive it in the parking lot, which isn't a true test drive. After the "test drive", the salesman asked what we thought about it. So where should I start ? So I wanted to change my car. We went to test drive a Mazda. Long story short. I walked in. Not one person greeted me Completely ignored us. After 15mins of waiting to see if somebody would come to us, I decided to ask for assistance. The person at the front desk grabbed a sales person. She didn't ask any questions. So we got to the point and asked to test drive a Mazda. After the test drive I was certain that I wanted the car. Came back from the drive, sales person did not ask not one question whatsoever. Went to Eagle today to test drive a Mazda C5. I was honest with the salesman and said I was a few weeks away from purchase. As a result of my honesty, they refused me a test drive, telling me that is the last step in a purchase. How can I purchase if I haven't driven one? Needless to say I left and went to 112 Mazda. Not only was the salesman friendly, he was more than willing to let me test drive. And you know what? Not only did I love it, they had the EXACT one I wanted and I bought it today rather than miss out on what I wanted. One of the worst experiences at a car dealership today. The day before I spoke with a sales rep named Matt. Very nice and over the phone i inquiring about the kia Telluride. I filled out the auto loan application and got approved! U think it would be all good after this. So I walk in this a.m. and some guy named Joe which I assumed was some kind of manager who was clipping his nails at the front desk no good morning no nothing. So a very nice sales girl walked over i told her why I was here she showed me around inside and outside and had explained everything I needed to know about the trucks and cars. All in all I figured it was a little too big and a bit overpriced... still this joe guy is sitting not asking if everything was ok and if I needed more assistance with anything. As I'm looking over the smaller Kia's he finally walks over and instead of saying if anything doesnt seem to work for you let's see what we can do he just says "you were approved for the loan and if you like it you can take it monday". That wasnt the problem. The problem was i wanted a better deal and he wasn't even trying to get it lower or even offering to make it a better. I spent 5 min talking with him which was pointless and he wasn't helpful and I just found him to be really abrupt and not concerned about what the customers wants and needs. A sales person should want you to feel comfortable and confident about making a good deal on a good car. No not him it was just pretty cut and dry. This is the price and no there's nothing else i can do for you? Very disappointing and I will never nor will I reccomend anyone to come there to buy a vehicle. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE AND READ EVERYTHING YOU SIGN CAREFULLY!!!! When purchasing the car, they had agreed to lower the price so that the payment would not exceed a certain amount per month. We verbally agreed that they could match the 2.9% interest rate for 72 months to match what my bank was offering. The initial purchase agreement also had 72 months written on it. When we go to pick up the car, the financing paperwork says 5.9% interest for 84 MONTHS! I guess they figured that as long as the monthly payment didn't change, that we wouldn't notice the change in terms. Since they lowered the price, I assume they were hoping to make up for the loss in interest. We immediately had the car refinanced at our own bank. I would NEVER, EVER GET ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM AND WILL TELL ANYONE I CAN TO STAY AWAY!!! read more

Bunch of cheats that try to sneak extra fees right before signing. When I asked about why he didn't tell me about the fees before asking me to sign the contract he said, "Well I'm telling you now!" The commentary was totally justified. The circumstance remains the same whether I was involved in the deal or my family members. The members of my family who were interested in purchasing a vehicle were told that the price of the vehicle would be $2000 higher if they wanted to finance through their own bank at 1.5%, because Eagle would not be making a profit off of the financing. Their rate was 4.5%. Eagle Auto Mall then called my family member after the deal was renegotiated to cancel the contract because a negative review was written. I can share more details of other untruths during the entire negotiations but the result is the same. The salesman and the SM both told untruths to my family members. The BBB, FTC and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will determine if misleading business practices took place. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over auto dealers, and can now issue rules to curb unfair and deceptive acts committed by auto dealers. Having been in the auto business myself, I am well informed about what is and is not above board when selling or leasing vehicles. Much of what was said and done during all of the negotiations were not above board. Perhaps if employees and management at Eagle Auto Mall do not want negative reviews written, they should not be deceitful. read more

If you are only reading the positive reviews, maybe those people lucked into a good day at Eagle Auto Mall, but our experience was much more along the lines of the poor reviews, and we know others personally who had bad experiences. We tried several other cars and dealers in Riverhead, and it is night and day. The others put everything in writing, negotiated in good faith, were responsive, and explained everything clearly. Eagle's staff (the "Client Specialist" Don Johnson) were disinterested or opaque about fees and costs, would only put things in writing if you asked (more than once), had us sign a deposit form that said they would not reimburse the deposit (so cross that section out before signing), had much higher loan rates than anyone else, tried to talk us into a high rate, turned away other financing even when we had told them we were doing so, and in the end refused to sell us the car while lying that they had agreed to sell it to us. The last straw was the manager (Joe Gandhi) screaming at us. Something is wrong with this dealership, its management, and its staff. Go somewhere else for a quite pleasant experience! read more

Buyer beware: learned the hard way. The sales manager talked so much bullshit that completely ruined my night. Got there at 5pm I didn't leave until 8:30pm. Somehow I bought a car for 16,500, I put 6,500 down and got stuck with a crazy bill showing that I financed $20grand + instead of the $10grand I agreed. NOT a fan of this dealership. I would much rather buy from another dealer than this place. I'm looking to buy a '14 optima and i was interested in using truecar.com. I called this dealer because they used that website and the website deal with Truecar just seemed too go to be true.. so I called and asked flat out, "what is the catch?" Lol well the salesman told me there was no catch, its just a special website deal and I could absolutely use the website and they would honor the deal 100%. Well now I find out that Truecar.com has prices you have to "qualify" for.. meaning u have to have really great credit or be a military veteran or etc. So basically not many ppl would prob qualify, especially me haha so basically there is absolutely a catch and the salesman clearly lied about that when asked. Then i go to look at the car and i ask another salesman if they had any on the lot, he said oh yeah we have tons, so I said okay can i see one? And he said well when are you going to be buying it? And i said probably not until a few more weeks. And he says "well why don't you come back when your ready and we can look at them" haha i literally was like ........okay.... I mean is he serious? I guess he didn't want to "waste his time" with me since I wasnt buying the car that specific day haha Moral of the story: the salesman seem rude and uninterested unless your ready to buy the car in the next few hours. Went to Eagle Auto Mall a few weeks ago to look at a used Madza2. I came with a loan I had already gotten from my credit union. The salesman jacked the price up for not financing with Eagle Auto Mall immoderately and haggled me about financing with them. I have my reasons for not wanting to many credit checks when I already have a loan thank you very much. I took a test drive around the parking lot by choice. I found it very odd they did not take my drivers information because I was outside with the key when asked. I was already very uncomfortable with the salesman so I didn't feel like taking a stroll around Riverhead. I mentioned having a possible trade in. He insulted me for suggesting it. I left him my number for him to follow up with his manger. I was filling knowing I wasn't going to be purchasing a vehicle from this place because it was pretty clear the salesman did not want my business. He called that Monday and I didn't return the call. A week goes by, I bought a car I am very happy with somewhere else. The salesman from Eagle calls, I tell him this. He then tells me "good luck those cars have a lot of recalls." Talk about a sore loser from someone who made it pretty clear I wasn't worthy of purchasing a vehicle from him and that comment alone is why I am writing this review. I never write reviews but the personalized service I received from ALL the staff at Eagle Auto Mile prompted me to break my rule. I've been hunting for a 2008 Corvette for some time. I wanted low mileage, pristine and in original condition. After a long hunt with multiple dealers, there was always something wrong with the vehicle. Not so with Eagle Auto. It appears to me that they only sell premium cars at an excellent price. Each person I dealt with, from the moment I walked in the door and was offered coffee or water, until I was was ready to drive out but was stopped because there was a smudge of dirt on the tire rim (really!) that a service person wanted to wipe off. This level of service only comes from the top down. The General Sales Manager, Mr. Joe Gandhi was involved in my sale from beginning to end. There was no pressure at all, just helpful information to my multitude of questions. The salesman, Matt Marano even offered me lunch while my car was being detailed. Where do you find this level of service? While I live a good 3+ hours from the dealership, it will now be the only place I shop or recommend. Great job everyone! read more

There's a shortage of new cars on Long Island so I was pleased to see that Eagle Kia in Riverhead had a car in stock we might be interested in buying. We drove out there in yesterday's storm but were told that it would be necessary to fill out papers and leave a deposit BEFORE taking a test drive. After some deliberation we decided to at least see what they wanted us to sign. At that point we were informed to pay no attention to the sticker price of about $28,000, because they were charging a $4,000 "PREMIUM' on top of it thereby making the $32,000. That stopped me cold. When we lived in south Florida after Hurricane Andrew people came in selling water, generators and supplies for huge profits. It was called "Price Gouging" and people were prosecuted. Is it something different when it's car dealers raising the prices of cars that are in short supply due to a pandemic? read more

After Kate, my sales person said I could leave a deposit on a JEEP and receive an unconditional return if I changed my mind, I am now being told (after changing my mind) by the salesman John that I must return to the dealership and fill out some paperwork in order to get a refund. Unfortunately that would require half a days travel for me. Tom, the sales manager, who was extremely friendly when I was looking to buy, has not returned my call to process my refund over the phone. This is the kind of nonsense that makes me never want to enter a car dealership again. Update: Tom, the sales manager called me back and stated he will get back to me middle of next week. I would have preferred a refund during his initial call, but we'll have to wait and see... Update #3: OK, a few days go by and I got a hold of Tom again and he took my info and said he would send me a check. One week later- no check. So I texted my original salesperson Kate and she said they had a check for me "upstairs and ready to go out the next day. One week later- no check. At that juncture, he informed me that the price was actually $4,000 more than the official offer from the dealership via the TrueCar app; claiming the price I was given was an error. We were interested in test driving 2 vehicles at this dealership. When asked by Robert what we needed help with, we told him this and his response was absurd. He wanted us to narrow it down to just test driving 1 vehicle because they were busy and understaffed. When we finally convinced him to let us test drive a vehicle, he then refused to help us because our licenses are from out of state. He then suggested that we were not buying a car today so we just "shouldn't waste his time". My family has been buying cars in this area (Riverhead) for decades, and will absolutely not consider stepping into this dealership again. read more

The Worst! The reputation is well earned. I attempted to test drive an MX-5 Miata and was given the 3rd degree by Amanda. She initially seemed very nice but the minute we approached a Miata she said that Miata's are very collectible and buyers don't want to purchase cars with any miles on them?? (Note: Mazda has sold over a million Miata's in 25 years so where she came up with this 'collectible' argument is beyond me) I told her that I had a Porsche 911 and I was interested in maybe getting a different kind of car like a Miata and whenever I went to the Porsche dealer they would let me test drive pretty much whatever I wanted. Amanda was perplexed by this but remained unfazed. She was not going to let me drive this car. Then she stonewalled me and said that she would only let me test drive a car if I knew exactly what trim level I wanted???? I drove away and went to another Mazda dealer 20 miles away and I was test driving a Miata within 10 minutes of getting there. If you think she was qualifying my ability to purchase the car, I am 46 years old and drove in with a 2016 Porsche Cayenne. This place will never have my business and is a primary reason why I bought a Cayenne and not a new Volvo SUV. Eagle is the only Volvo dealer in the area and I cannot fathom relying on them for dealer level service. read more

Decided it was time to upgrade my car to something new. I had a Mazda that I got from another location and came here to upgrade to a larger Mazda. The process was so fast and much easier than the first time at the other location. My mind was blown. I went in with specifics of exactly what I wanted in the car, price, etc and Steven the sales rep and Jeff the financial rep who helped me provided it all. I went in on a Sunday just to look and get an idea and by Wednesday I left with a brand new car. Not only was the process great but Steven took the time to actually show me every inch of the new car and made sure I knew how everything worked, something the last dealership did not do for me. It's been about a week and today Steven called to follow up on how I was doing with the new car and if I had any questions about anything.
