Cosmic bowling (12:30-2:30 on Saturday)...not sure what the normal times are for cosmic bowling

River City Lanes is a great bowling alley for families. You can reserve and pay for your lanes and shoes ahead of time online. There is a small arcade that's perfect for non-bowlers or pre/post bowling fun! There's a machine to buy/recharge playing cards for the arcade! The workers are friendly! And the food is pretty good too! We suggest the sampler with egg rolls, mozzarella sticks, wings, and mini corn dogs...our kids loved it! Bring the whole family!!!

I had the taco salad at the bowling alley and loved it! There were plenty of jalapeños, the salad was fresh, lots of toppings! It was so good! We also ordered a cheese pizza and even though the crust had a little char, it was delicious! I would recommend asking for extra salsa and sour cream because this salad is a tummy filler!

My partner had the turkey huckleberry sandwich, and he liked it quite well! We were a bit sad about the green beans. They looked excellent, but were very underdone. We did let the waitress know and she was gracious about it and said she would let the kitchen know. We took them home and reheated them in our steamer basket and they were good. The atmosphere is kind of cute and farmhouse chic, the very open floor plan does get loud though so foam boards to reduce echo would help a lot. The only other downside was just that the service was a bit slow, but they were pretty busy for a weekday night. Overall, we liked it and will probably be back - I look forward to seeing if their menu changes with the seasons.

Savannah was very patient & attentive! Friend had the pulled pork tacos. She gave me a taste of the pork with some of the bbq sauce...excellent! I had the Flamin PBJ burger. Really good with just a bit of a kick. Really didn't taste the peanut butter (except when it got in my hand), probably because of the jalapeno strawberry jam. But it was a perfect ratio of burger to bun to sauce. Definitely recommend both. We had the potato dippers with both and we also each had a cup of their homemade chili, which was very very good. The potato dippers are not your typical fries. Not sure what kind of machine (?) cuts them up, but, they are delicious and outstandingly tasty when you use the chili as a dip! We were also impressed with the selection of mocktails. The No-jito was really refreshing with the mint & lime and not sweet at all. Loved it! Friend had the Donkey and really liked it too. We look forward to returning with a bunch of our friends.

It is a historical site, I didn't read too much in depth about what it was, but if it's for hot chicken sandwiches, then I can see why. Walking into the place was like walking into someone's home. Literally. It was super warm and inviting, had kind of a rustic feel, and just Good vibes all the way around. I got seated at a table, and started looking over the menu. There was only one waitress there, and she was running around like a crazy woman trying to take care of tables. Tables. She did a great job though so my hats off to her for making sure that every table felt like they were taken care of. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich with fries, and a diet Coke. Because hey, I have to watch out for my girlish figure. The sandwich came out, as well as my drink right on time. And so I Dove right in. For starters, these were some of the best french fries I have ever had. I'm pretty sure they're using Lowry's seasoned salt on them, but I can't be sure. Whatever it was. They were super tasty and super crispy without having to be asked for them. Crispy The chicken sandwich itself was great, had a great buffalo sauce on it and had just the right amount of coleslaw and pickles. Every bite was a wonderful experience. I love finding cool new places that I can share with the world, and this is definitely one of them. If I am ever in the Post Falls area again, this will be one of my stops to get a bite to eat. Bottom line? If you are ever traveling through Idaho and find yourself in Post Falls, I would highly recommend you go to this place. Service was great, the chicken sandwich was awesome, and I would love to try some of the other things on the menu.

And when it's a Greek restaurant on top of that, that's basically a recipe for perfection. You can smell this place from blocks away. By the time you get to the parking lot, you're already salivating in anticipation. Vampires be warned: you're not getting within a half mile of this place! Sure, not everything was perfect about our meal: the Sarmisak (garlic dip with walnuts and parmesan) didn't do much for us, and my wife ended up preferring my Bahce over her grill plate (I can't remember the name of it), so we ended up swapping dishes. The Turkish Cigars were a huge hit with both of us, although we both wished they were a bit larger. I'm not sure I quite "get" the running aesthetic going on here at "The White House", as well as their sister establishments "The Oval Office", "The Pentagon", and "The Capitol". I mean, I get the theme, but...why? I don't get the Why of it all. Regardless, it's immaterial. The food is awesome, and worthy of a President. Well, not our current President...but one of the good ones, for sure! The staff are efficient, somehow buzzing about all over the place, managing the chaos (this place was PACKED on a Saturday night), but still managed to be friendly, attentive and focused. And despite ordering two cocktails, two appetizers, and two entreés, our bill was somehow still less than $100, I'd say that you definitely get your money's worth here! Hell, we even took enough leftover back to our hotel to keep us fed almost the entire next day! In short, I would vote whomever is running THIS White House in for a second term...and a third...and a fourth!

I would like to preface that I went in without expecting to be blown away by a 38 dollar steak. However it just wasn't good even for a 10 dollar steak. I ordered their peppercorn sauce on the side and I'm glad I did as it was absolutely heinous and would have rendered the steak completely inedible. As it was the steak was cooked properly to the way I ordered it however I believe they were relying on the sauce for seasoning as this lacked even a hint of salt, pepper or any other seasoning on the meat. To top it off the gas flavor from the grille was quite overpowering. The ribeye was quite tough and lacked any real intramuscular fat which is expected in the price point. But would have been completely fine had the meat been seasoned even the slightest. I would try the restaurant again if ever in town however I would be staying away from the steak for sure.
