I'm not a bowler, but I came here for the food on the recommendation of a friend. Not sure quite what to expect, since it's a bowling alley. The bowling alley itself is rather noisy, but the restaurant has a door that blocks out most of the noise. The nice young lady behind the bar attended to me promptly, and I ordered a small 8" pizza (The Big Four) and just for giggles, a small order of mini-corndogs. Since I was on two wheels, I just had water. The corn dogs came out first, and they were better than I expected. Hot, fresh, corndoggy-ish goodness with mustard to dip them in. The pizza came out while I was chowing down on the corn-dogs, but it was still hot when I finished the dogs and moved on to the main dish. The crust was a mix of thin and hand-tossed, not overtaking the pizza but thick enough to hold the toppings. The sauce was good, the toppings were excellent, and between the two orders I spent less than $20. Our group has been going to sunset bowling since high school dispute us all living in post falls. we finally decided to go to river city one night and were more than disappointed. not only was the staff very "tired of it" the whole time but we couldn't even have our drinks near the ball return. the entire night we had "car salesmen" like ladies asking us if we wanted refills before we finished our drinks. the poor family next to us felt the need to completely compress their party due to the shared benches they have set up. id must rather have the "table per lane" that sunset bowling has without the constant pressure to get hammered from the bar tenders and "help". never had a group so uncomfortable in a social setting before. read more

We had a spur of the moment birthday get-together for my son in the restaurant/bar this evening. I coordinated with Natalie and although it was a league night, everything went smoothly. She helped us make it a fun gathering & made sure the pizzas that we ordered were cut to accommodate our large group. She handled the large volume of customers with ease. I'm impressed. The pizzas were delicious with hand tossed crusts. Everyone was able to enjoy the beverage of their choice and the prices were very reasonable. Great little bowling alley and tons of fun. Balls are beat to hell with massive gouges and scratches throughout, which I'm going to say is why I sucked so bad at bowling. The balls. Not my manly bowl rolling precision and power, that's for sure. They have a bar and food. Both looked highly adequate and up to the task of lubricating gullets and filling stomachs. Such a fun place to go! It was my third, maybe fourth time come here and my boyfriend's first time. We did the night deal (I don't remember it), but we basically paid $30 from 8:15p-11p. I had the taco salad at the bowling alley and loved it! There were plenty of jalapeños, the salad was fresh, lots of toppings! It was so good! We had our company Christmas party here and had a blast. We had 8 lanes with 20+ employees with their spouses and children. We had the buffet, pizza, wings, salad, brownies, they even made us some fries, sodas, drinks. I thought it was super expensive but they catered to us and it was worth the price. Ingredients are high quality and the restaurant/bar staff is not averse to chatting about whatever is on your mind. They keep it clean, though it does have the feel of any other bowling alley or billiards establishment. We ordered two cheese burgers and a pepperoni pizza. The burgers were overcooked and bland which I could have actually overlooked but the wilted lettuce and BROWN pickles were soo disgusting that it's hard to believe that anyone would actually try and serve such slop. The pizza was totally soggy and gross. I called the manager to complain and asked for a refund for the gross food we threw away and he told me that he would talk to the kitchen and that they "might issue me a credit" I told him I didn't want a credit becuase I won't ever eat there and asked for a refund and he told me that was out of the question. I'd avoid the food. I try support local businesses but when they sell you trash and act like it's no big deal then there's not much to support. read more

This is hands down the most repellent business I've gone to in the Pacific Northwest, possibly around the entire country. Before reading my whole review, please be aware that I ordered food for takeout and did not bowl. So my first and only experience here was when I came here during a football game football game to grab some pizza and wings to take home. This place has always been on DoorDash, so they offer takeout and delivery but I had cash on me and wanted to pay cash and that's how my experience went down hill. I called in and they acted like doing a takeout order was such a burden on them. Get put on hold, then on hold again, and finally got to order. I get it and that's where my experience went hill. Well, there's no clear marking on where to go for takeout orders. I saw food, so I went to the counter. I waited in line for several minutes, got to the front, and the very rude worker acted like I was dumb for not knowing I needed to go to the bar. Waited in line for a good 15 minutes with the slowest service ever before finally getting to the front of the line. By the time I did, my food was lukewarm due to too much waiting in line. It was completely ridiculous. I paid a lot of money for this food too, but I was willing to forgive the rudeness and their inability to properly do takeout business, if the food was good. The wings were absolutely disgusting. Completely inedible and I'm not even sure if they were chicken wings. The meat under the skin was dark. I don't know if it means it's rotten meat or the dark part of a chicken or the wings of some other bird. After taking a bite into and spitting it out, I carefully nibbled on the next then hand peeled a few other apart and they all looked the same. Now for the quality of the pizza. They proudly advertise themselves as a brick oven pizza place. In my experience, a brick oven generally means good. Back in the old days before I was born, pretty much all pizzas were cooked in these old style ovens before they switched over to the conveyor ovens to cook more pizzas at once. Well, brick oven doesn't always mean good and here it doesn't. Here it was code for "don't pay attention to the pizza, leave it in the oven, let it burn, and hope the customer doesn't notice it." The whole thing was just not good even without the burning. If you're going here to bowl, you might have a good time, but I'd recommend eating before or afterwards after my horrendous experience. read more

I got screwed here. I paid for two lanes. $45.00. When I arrived I asked to cancel one lane. I was told multiple times that I would be gift cards the other lane. Then I was told no. So I decided to run both lanes. As I was setting up the second lane to bowl; an employee said that I would be refunded as they had given the lane to someone else. At the end I went to the desk an was told no refund. So the alley collected two fees for the same lane and I got screwed. It sucks to prepay then not even be able to use the lane. Went here on a date and had so much fun. From the outside it doesn't look like a bowling alley but the inside is nice, clean and family friendly. There is 2 entrances, one in each side of the building, in addition to the lanes, a mes arcade, tables for dining and a very large bar and lounge. K so we don't eat here. I find bowling alleys are just for bowling type of thing. My own preference. So I can't speak of the food. However the bowling here is great. It's a bowling alley, they aren't paved in gold or ever super super nice and clean. We enjoy a night with the kids watching them figure out what to do. I also enjoy date nights and girls night out here too. Bowling is just fun. Don't think you can really mess it up. It's like going to good will or seven 11, you already know what to expect.
