Meet a group of friends this weekend and was told it would be a half an hour wait. Two and half hours later we received our lane. Ordered fries, which were extremely greasy and tasted lousy. Other persons in our party were also unhappy with their meal purchases. When I went into the bar to order a drink, the bartender was eating behind the bar, touching money, and drink glasses without gloves. Decided what I saw was too unsanitary for me so I ordered a bottled beer. read more

This was my first time here and my son and I decided to go bowling for the holidays. At first I wasn't too impressed with the place. It was a bit older, about 25 lanes or so, it didn't smell that great and I felt their food was REALLY overpriced ... we had to wait about 45 mins for a lane since it was "glow in the dark " Saturday and then we got our lane and it seemed the mood and all the things that weren't the best did matter much and here's why .... The lights went out, the black lights came on and fun took over. I really like how the guys at the front desk were super friendly and interacted with the bowlers. On Saturday the lanes have neon pins and throughout the night if they called hour lane they added to the competitive nature offering $1.00 or $2.00 for a strike or hitting the various neon pins. Some people really upped their game and energy adding to the nights fun. On one of my turns I picked up a pretty hard spare and over the mic they gave me Lots of kudos which I admit made me feel pretty good for a totally amateur lol. We did decide to order food and the wings honestly were really Yummy ! It was like I made them at home. Nice and big super meaty and crispy batter. Wasn't that crazy about the fries but my son liked them and the staff again was really friendly and accommodating. Wings Fries and 1 drink was about $29.00 so yeah a little on the high side but it was good. The games were $15.00 and we played 2 rounds plus of your a first timer there sign up on email and get a &10.00 coupon so not a bad deal. They also have a small arcade and honestly we really had a nice time and even with a few short comings I would suggest this place to anyone in town or visiting. A few suggestions I would make would be it would be great if there was a little more wait staff to come by the lanes for food orders vs. having to leave your game to go wait for an order. Perhaps invest in a air filter system or something to freshen up the smell a bit, I realize once you are there it could be easy to get use to and not really notice. I do like the fact you can reserve your lane in advance on busy nights maybe adding an app application where you can do this online would be a nice addition. Great job guys, it's not often I don't like things in a place and still leave a 4 star review but when you feel Welcome in a new place it goes a long way read more

Left my jacket here and when I came back to get it ( 5 mins after I left) the bartender "Red" found and it And returned it but with out my wallet and when I came back to get it it wasn't there and they wanted to argue w me like Im an idiot and didnt remember where I put my wallet long story short they returned my jacket but with out my wallet so fuck these guys and make sure you don't leave anything here or it will be stolen read more

Our group would bowl and it would constantly show the wrong number of pins were hit. I bowled a gutter and it gave me 4, my boyfriend bowled a 7 and it gave him a 5. We went to the desk and asked them to fix it over 10 times. Each time they just adjusted the score... But it kept happening every frame. We moved lanes and it still happened and they did nothing to fix it other than Fox each individual score each time. We couldn't even finish a full game. We asked for a refund because we were tired of the BS. They said they could offer us a gift card. That wasn't acceptable because we were from out of town. After more complaining they offered us $20 cash when we as a group payed over $60. What a rip off. One good thing was the mozzarella stocks were tasty. read more

This was my first visit to this establishment. I really enjoyed coming here with friends. At 9:30 pm on Sundays they have happy hour and lanes are discounted! Just make reservation. It ends up being seven bucks a person. The gentleman at the shoe rental was very sweet too. Will come back again! read more

We were at North Bowl this last Sunday. EVERYONE that works there is very kind with every encounter. Our issue was the food. We had seen on Food Finder on Facebook some people had posted about the food there and North Bowl themselves post pics of their food all the time. We were very excited about the nachos. They did not live up to the picture visually, and the flavor wasn't the best. There is also not much on them for the $20 they charge. Also got the chili cheese fries and the chili tasted burnt. The burgers and sandwiches my children had they said were pretty good, but I didn't personally try them. We will definitely keep going in to bowl and support the company. Again like I said everyone we came into contact with was very nice and helpful. read more

What a wonderful bowling experience! North Bowl has the '70's-retro vibe of a vintage bowling alley, but still packs all the desired modern day conveniences. The black and white photos hanging around the room showcase North Bowl's amazing history and gives a nod to their decades-long foothold in the Spokane community. The new owners are working hard to upgrade the old building. It will be interesting to see all the progress they've made on my next visit. The staff members are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic; we ate garlic fries and nachos, I would highly recommended either (or both!). All in all, a great way to spend a Thursday night with friends and family! read more

Great family friendly place. I have bowled here multiple times, with groups of friends over 21 and for kids birthday parties. The front desk guys are always helpful and just want to make a great experience for us. The only reason this is not 5 stars, sometimes the bartender seems to be annoyed that I want to order a drink. read more

It's the most expensive bowling I've gone to around here and the worst kept place. The lane we were on didn't even return our balls so we couldn't have a consistent ball. The equipment was out of date of a bad way. $15 per person per hour. There are places that charge less with no person count per hour. Staff was ok, but for the cost it wasn't in any way worth going. Great place to bring the family for a night of bowling. Place is clean, well lit and wasn't too crowded when we were there. They have lots of special "deals" for late night bowling and packages that include a couple of games, food and beverage, etc. read more

Don't bowl in lanes 5 or 6, because the balls get stuck and there are weird kinks in the count system.

We planned an event at north bowl for the kids and the staff was amazingly accommodating and helpful throughout the process! When we said we wanted pizza they helped us order it and passed it out to our different lanes for us. The cosmic bowling was great and the music playing was even better! read more

Tried going here several times only to be greatly disappointed. Every time we call they say that they don't have room for us, but one time we called and asked it we could make a reservation and they told us that they don't take reservations but that if we came at a certain time we could probably get a lane that night, so we show up at the time they told us to and they said 'we are full, do you have a reservation?' What?!?!?! We will not try to go here again and when we plan to bowl with friends we pick other places even if we drive twice as far. read more

We had our daughter's 12th Birthday party here recently and it was a great experience! They had a party room all done up - we had a specific attendant who checked often to be sure we were doing well. Everyone was great. We've done parties at other locations and this was, by far, the best experience! I highly recommend it to others! read more

The bowling is awesome and the guys at the shoe/payment desk are super friendly and kind. The only reason this place isn't a 5 star is the women who works in the food area. She is always rude and constantly has a bad attitude. She always complains that she has had a bad day and is very unprofessional. I go there at least 3 times a month for work, during slow hours, and she's the same way everyday. Please replace her! read more

The place would have been excellent and I would have given a good rating except that the older man running the front desk was incredibly rude and would not talk to me, all I wished was to bowl and I am unsure weather it was because of my gender or my orientation based off my looks but he only sat and made noises at me rudely and only gave me a sarcastic remark " you're either bowling or you're not" when I wanted to pay and was trying to give him my money when I wanted to only bowl a single game, and if it was pay for time instead of per game, I will never know due to him not even looking at me or answering me. Their workers are paid to do their "jobs", and if they aren't doing them they shouldn't be getting paid to sit and be rude to customers. And as I have been told by several others of my group, I am not the only one who has had this happen to them, I just left after that. read more
