Kayla and Nate were amazing! We felt so secure and comfortable in our harness and with our guides. It became cloudy and rainy once we got to the top and we were freezing but they still made it a really fun time! They showed us tips to kick off the tree to zip faster down the line and offered multiple suggestions for how to hold on to feel more secure. I've zip linen several times before and wish I had been with timberline for my first time because of how detailed, thorough, and safe they are! There was a kiddo in our group and Kayla tandem zipped with her because she was scared to go alone. Loved the energy and the vibe. I highly recommend going on a zip lining tour via Timberline Adventures. What a fantastic experience with Bridger and Malcom as our tour guides. Both were highly competent, encouraging and fun. The views from the mountains overlooking the water and the mountains were incredible! The city of Couer D'Alene is beautiful. It is a good zipline adventure but pricey. The van you have to drive in was filthy and seemed to be on its last leg. We were dirty even before we got to the ziplines. The guides were pleasant and tried to be funny. The last of the 7 ziplines is 450 feet above the ground and goes between 2 mountains. That was the best part. read more

We had the best time and best tour guides on our ziplining adventure! We left on time to get to the course. The course consisted of 7 zipline platforms. Kayla, Zach, and Vivian were the best guides! They were super friendly and remembered all our names in the group. They seemed like a great guide group with fun hobbies and we enjoyed conversing with them and getting to know them. Vivian has a to of energy, and that's the type of energy you need in places like this! The zip lines ranges from short to long, and some faster than others. I've ziplined a few times before, and I think this is the best and safest zip line I've been on. The only downside in my opinion was that I couldn't stay facing forward on any of the zip lines, but maybe that's just user error? Lol... Overall this experience was amazing and I enjoyed the views the entire time! Bonus: we saw a moose from the third zipline platform today! read more

We had so much fun on our zip line tour! It was my first time zip lining so we did the started package. The adventure starts with a car ride, followed by a four wheel dirt ride to the zip line start. Once we got to the first zip line i was so nervous i was shaking but the tour guides did an amazing job at reassuring you and making sure everything ran smoothly. A MUST DO if you're in Coeur d'Alene. I've been ziplining in several different countries and this experience ranks up towards the top. They are taking all safety precautions during the Covid-19 event and are sanitizing equipment regularly. Easy online booking (with informative confirmation email), smooth check-in at the shop in town & quick drive up the mountain. Once we got our equipment on, we all hopped on the ATV and road 5 minutes to the first zip line. The guides were fantastic!! Shout out to Hannah, Rusty & Sean -- you guys rock!! Not only were the guides friendly and personable but they really made you feel safe on the course. They really know what they're doing and take their time with everyone. 7 zip lines, 2 suspension bridges and 2 "auto belays" where you jump off the platform (don't worry, it's super fun!). The views are incredible, the platforms and sturdy and well-built, equipment is in great condition. At previous zip line sites, I've had to hike 1/2 mile to the first line .... not here! You have about a 1 minute walk to the first line and then it's all down hill from there ... in an awesome way!! TIPS: - Show up to the shop 30 mins early to sign all the waivers, use the restroom, put your stuff in the locker. - Age 7 & up. Weigh between 80-260 lbs (they weigh you at check-in so you can't fib!). - Wear comfortable clothing that you can bend in and close-toed shoes. - Buy one of their lanyards w/ clear case (sold at shop) OR wear clothing with a good zipper to put your phone in it. - They have helmet attachments for Go-Pros but you need to ask for it at the beginning when you check-in. So much fun! 7 lines was well worth it. You have to do all 7! We had the most amazing guides, and just an all around pleasant time. Out of 4 zip lining experiences this was by far the best. First time ziplining; wasn't sure what to expect. Annika and Brandon(?) were excellent and professional, yet loads of fun while we drove up, harnessed up, and were hooked up to the zipline. Beautiful views and I never felt unsafe as we were safely 'tied-in' at all times. Not a fan of heights, but had no fear being up on platforms, rope bridges or the zipline itself because I was always tied-in. Timberline offeres a number of tour options - we did the treehouse lunch and zip. Lunch options were catered to each person's dietary requests or restrictions (btw delicious). The longest zipline strings across a valley topping out at 440ft high and you'll reach speeds up to 35-40mph! What a RUSH! The lunch and zip tour took us about 4-hours from start to finish. It started before we even left when they offered my daughter and I some brand new gloves and beanies, simply because they could see it was going to be cold and we weren't prepared for it. Matt and Kristen were great guides who made our experience fun and put us at ease through the whole experience. They wisely start you off on what they call the bunny lines. Then they work you up to the high ones. I love how you zip from treetop to treetop. That last zip is soooo amazing! It was foggy and cloudy when we went but the view was still amazing.
