When we showed up, the owner laid out the info; 1.5 hours of mimosas. The event started at 10am. As we got refills through the event; they progressively got smaller and smaller pours (at one point, less than 1/2 a glass). At 11:34, we were told that this round was our "last". None of the party was in anyway visibly intoxicated. When my mom went up for her last one, she was turned away as they were "done serving because they had to clean and prep for the 12pm group". Here is where I'm annoyed. In BOTH the menu and the ticket confirmation, it clearly outlines expectations on service. Both state that bar service ends at 12. The food was sub-par- we would have come back for the mimosas, but we won't be back again solely due to this arbitrary change in rules on the fly. Too bad.

The bowling alley could use some maintenance because even a 300 bowler isn't that great here but whatever, there's other cool things here. We enjoyed the indoor putt putt golf. The bowling alley is clean compared to most bowling alleys and they have lanes for super little kids. It's a fun way to spend the day, albeit very expensive. Cons: The arcade was a let down. I had the $7.50 arcade credit and most of the games I wanted to play were broken/not working. But able to take my money. The lady at the counter was helpful in refunding it but it was still annoying. We tried to play 2 player games but every time one of the games wasn't working so we had to do it separately which isn't as fun. Plus all the games are insanely expensive like $3-7 for maybe a 1-3 min game. We reloaded our wrist bands and it seemed all the games make it so you have to keep putting money on your wristband and can't quite play any game without doing that OR you just leave without using the full amount that you paid because there aren't any games that cost less than what's left on your wristband. Mini golf was alright All in all, it's a fun family place but some improvements could be made for sure!

Buyer Beware. There is an event coming in June called…read more"Discovery Fire". This was actually called From the Ashes. Be careful IF you buy tickets. Here is my experience: I purchased 2 VIP tickets for both Friday & Saturday events. This was to be a gift. A few days before I needed to give this gift, they cancelled the event. (But they did not really cancel. They changed the name "From the Ashes" to "Discovery Fire." I spoke with both people in charge of handling the event (the person who set everything up (From the Ashes) and the Settlers Inn person (Discovery Fire) who is now handling it. I was told that those who only bought the one day are fine but those who bought both days now had to buy again. They would NOT sell me tickets over the phone. They said I would need to go to the website again to purchase tickets. The website charges fees. The refund will not include fees. Not a big deal except I shouldn't have to pay additional fees that I have already paid. Their answer: So sorry. We cannot do anything about it. I am very angry. I have a very short time to try to find another gift for my son. Buyer beware: This event may or may not take place. IF you purchase tickets, they still may cancel the event. Customer service is very lacking. BEWARE: From the Ashes Idaho 2023 is now Discovery Fire, a live fire cooking event by Settlers Creek Events.

He's a good young dude, is all over the place taking care of things, and is genuinely proud of what he is bringing to the community.
