Kim, who was our McGinnity room coordinator, is one of the most wedding-knowledgeable people I have ever met. It was very clear from the start that she knows what she is doing and she loves her job. I seriously can't explain how awesome it was to have her be there for us. We still (2 years later) have friends and family mention how awesome Kim was and how fun/ beautiful our wedding was. Another bonus point: I called Kim to see if she could get us one of their pies for my Wife and I's first year anniversary as a surprise- not only did she get us a pie but she handmade a cobbler too! She then decorated the venue with lights and a single table and chairs for my Wife and I to sit and enjoy some champagne and pie. We pulled our carts to the front ourselves and asked the checkout shack staff for help. The clueless blonde said she didn't know what was going on either and did not offer help. We sat there in the sun until Brooke sauntered back, we got a couple more things and checked out for $2,600+. We got a $0.20 rebate through their Rewards program. Yes, a twenty cents for $2,600+ purchase. They wouldn't even give us free delivery, so that was an extra $200. Fast forward to $200 delivery, which amounted to wind-shorn plants in the back of a pickup truck. The trunks of two $300 trees were bouncing off the tailgate where they had fallen over. One tree was near death, with the entire top covered in crunchy dead leaves, browned branches and leaves severly eaten by insects. We refused the one tree and returned to Barn and Blossom to pick out a different tree, until we were told we had to pay another $200 delivery fee. NO, WE WON'T PAY FOR THE DELIVERY TO REPLACE THE NEARLY DEAD TREE YOU TRIED TO DUMP ON US. After, $2,800+, I would have expected a basic level of courtesy the first time we were there, at least the second time, but no. There is zero service and if I could give negative stars, I would. We have alot more yard to landscape and it won't be through Barn and Blossom. The response from Barn and Blossom's owner was, "We are glad you won't be coming back as you are not welcome." The main area has a bar, small stage area, a fireplace with nice lounge chairs, an open space for seating, and a convenient area to hang your coats. It also has the loft upstairs with a second bar and more tables. It really is such a neat space. We did the buffet style meals and had "south of the boarder". So, chips, salsa, tacos. Everyone really enjoys the food! The dessert was also delicious! The event center also does drink tickets, which was perfect for what we were doing! We purchased each attendee two drink tickets that can be used for alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. They allowed us to bring decorations and set up the space to meet our needs, but if you aren't looking to decorate yourselves that's fine because it's already beautifully decorated. All the staff from fantastic, from booking the event to the night it all happened, they were great! This beautifully restored Victorian Mansion was our best B&B experience yet. The room are tastefully decorated in Victorian antiques. Everything from the claw-footed tub in the bathroom to the ornate chandelier in the dining room made us feel like we had stepped back in time. We would love to come back for one of their Victorian high teas. Every course of the full service breakfast was delicious, especially the dutch babies. The staff was great. Heather, the daughter of the owner, is an excellent cook. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. Looking forward to staying here again.

We had asked about it several times before, and the amount were were told hadn't changed, nor had it included tax. Their website didn't (and still doesn't) include the tax. When we called the event off, one of the parties received $800 (50% of the total, but $200 more than their deposit) and the other two parties received nothing. Denise (in charge of the mansion events) told us only half of the deposit was refundable. It has now been months, and I still don't have my share back, and the other party only got $200 back from the extra $200 they were sent. Don't trust these people under any circumstances. They deceive, lie, and won't even refund people that write them checks.

For 20 dollars, you can get a really thorough tasting of the wines they have to offer. I loved the 100% Merlot and the Cab Sauv. The server was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. You can sit inside or outside so it's really nifty. I also enjoyed the inside because they'll showcase local artists. Loved this Macau painting, but was sad they didn't have a print of it. Come give this place a try!
