A very nice winery but beautiful wedding venue!

Came here for a friends wedding. This place is really nice and their wines are very good. Our host, the new couple, offered a variety of beers, sparkling wine and several wines. My wife is a Cabernet Sauvignon drinker and I tried hers and it was really flavorful but I tasted the Petite Sirah was so good, I stayed with that most of the night. The sparkling wine was very good too. BTW, lots of medals on their wines. We were there for a wedding and it all went off very beautifully. The main building is divided into three sections. The middle section was were the wedding occurred and after the ceremony we had some hors d'oeuvres, a cheese board and some great drinks [see above]. In just a few minutes they took down the chairs in the middle section, pulled back the drapes that divided the three sections and Walla, large wedding party ready to go. The service was very good and the food was fair. This is certainly a nice place for any kind of event: wedding, corporate or adult party.

We attended an evening wedding at Barrister on 11/11. The ambiance of the building was rustic, yet elegant, and the wine was phenomenal! We loved the Rough Justice and the Cabernet Franc. The hors d'oeuvres were amazing- the stuffed mushrooms were to die for! We really enjoyed the venue and wine, and will visit again soon for some wine tasting!

Fantastic little gem. Be advised Apple Maps sent me close but not quite to the address. Not the winery's fault, but if you can't find it at first hunt around. Worth it. The hostess told me that the proximity to the railroad gently agitates the wine as it ages producing a smooth texture, and it really does feel that way. Great staff and great wine, and a beautiful rustic tasting room

What a cute spot! It's a venue. So there is amazing room to check out. They make everything in house. We purchased the only white and a red. (I regret it now)

Talk about a Bride's rustic winery wedding dream! Right downtown, this place is in a very large old warehouse looking building right by the railroad tracks. The exposed bricks, the large rustic looking wood floors, it's too bad I didn't know about the place when I got married. Don't worry, there are plenty of pictures of weddings that have been done at the place. They have a large patio outside and inside is very large with what looks like a lower level barrel room that looks amazing in candlelight. I was a fan of their white wine, though they do mostly red wines. I enjoyed walking around the place and looking at local artwork that was hanging on the walls. In fact, they were starting to set up for a wedding that would be taking place that night. Very lovely place! We will be back!

Hidden gem is what I will call this Winery, its located in the alley so when I was looking for it I thought that I was lost, but I was not, I actually love the location and how it's set up. The lady's that welcome us upon entering Barrister were very nice. The ambiance was very relaxing, on top of the wine; we tried 10 different wines 2 white and the rest were red, my favorite were the white wines. There was a lot of Art on the walls and they great to look at. There were also a few flys and nets that wanted our wine just as much as we wanted it ; but outside of that I will go back for sure when I'm in town.

Elegant environment. The wine tasting was delicious! They had a great variety of types of wine and a good, reasonably prices selection of bottles. We loved viewing the paintings they had for sale.

Weddings can be held outside with lights overhead and wine barrels for the backdrop

This venue is so amazing for weddings! I was a guest at a wedding this fall and it was pretty clear to me why this has become a classic Spokane wedding venue. First of all, the ceremony: It was outside in the alley next to Barrister. Sounds crazy, but it was so intimate and nice for a wedding. We could hear everything just fine and I loved the lights and wine barrels. I guess sometimes they have trains pass by and just pause the ceremony, but no trains came by during this one. There were big planter pots filled with lush flowers and I enjoyed that floral flourish. Secondly, the cocktail hour/dinner: All the guests easily filtered inside post-ceremony and there were appetizers on a table set up (as well as waiter passed appetizers) and you could easily get wine and beer from the large bar area. There were taller tables to set your items at etc. and people really mingled and chatted during this time. Once we all transitioned to dinner there was plenty of space for all the tables. Note: the lighting and exposed brick in the space is very nice. Finally, the dancing: There is a great dance floor available here, and during this time it was so nice to filter outside and get ice cream from The Scoop truck (that easily parked in the alley during the wedding). I really felt like the venue was convenient and accessible for all during the wedding and there wasn't a bunch of travel between spaces for the evening.

Excellent service, and what we Europeans prefer, you can take your time. No rush with the bill, like in so many places. Our waitress Amber, was so attentive. Would recommend this to anyone who visten Spokane.

My brother has been a member for years! He went in, having called ahead of time asking about availability and was told they would have no problem being sat. The moment they walked in they were brushed off and made to wait from the start as parties their size or smaller/LARGER walked in and were sat. Their entire time there, they had slow and rude service and were not treated like customers, but rather burdens. It wasn't a busy tasting room, maybe 10 or so tables but my brother's table took 30-45+ minutes to just get waters. Another example, tables around them who had been sat after they were, were ordering food and being served while they were told they could only order a charcuterie board. When it came time to check out (while also having been a member for years and getting wine allocations annually) they gave him a hard time on splitting the bill. When he told the waiter that he was a premium member at the winery, their entire mood and way of treating him immediately changed, which is one of the many things that gave him the indicator of being profiled. I 100% would not recommend coming here. If you believe in being treated properly and with respect, never come here. It's 2026, no one regardless of their race should ever be treated less then. Absolutely not ok. Also to be honest, my brother is much nicer when it comes to these types of things but he came home crying from this experience. Personally I never give a review because I have worked in the service industry, and understand when people have a bad day. But due to his reaction and everyone's story I truly believe that this establishment truly treated him awfully. He came home telling me how embarrassed he was just simply being there.
