I wish I lived in Spokane I would be at Zola's as much as possible. Cool atmosphere comfortable and clean. The service is fantastic Sheldon was our bartender he was friendly and welcoming. We order a smash burger which was AMAZING simple and delicious. Also, a Jimi Hendrix elevated gin, infused basil lime juice, cucumber, sour, sour and simple syrup. One of the best gin drinks I have ever had.

We love coming to Zola for happy hour -- definitely the best in town from 4-7 PM! The menu is great, the live music is always fun, and the atmosphere is perfect. Taijah takes the best care of us as always -- so welcoming, polite, and attentive. Amazing food, drinks, and customer service every time!

After reading Yelp reviews, I decided to give this place a try while in town for work. I came in during happy hour after some long flights over, and I am so glad I did. I was worried about the hipster vibe a bit because I like really authentic places, but this place is truly a great place to visit. The bartender Sheldon was great with recommendations for food and brews. The Happy Hour here is no joke, and I get why it is so highly rated. You get live music while enjoying select delicious bites and draft beer for a great price. I originally ordered the Fried Olives, but it was suggested to do the Hummus Plate with the Fried Olives as an add on - incredible suggestion and a huge platter of good food! The beers here are a good selection between IPAs and Ambers, but there is no flight to try the selection. The bartenders can and do make pretty much any other cocktail suggested, and many others did the happy hour of a beer and shot for $8 option. The live music during Happy Hour was truly great! Many original songs and good talent with Eric Kegly. I also made conversation with some locals and the bartenders - all of whom were welcoming and kind with great local suggestions. The decor is fun and eclectic with great indoor and outdoor seating options. If I come back to Spokane, this location is definitely on the list.

I stopped by on a Thursday night just after happy hour around 630p as it was conveniently right next to my hotel. It was pretty quiet, with only a few patrons. I ordered take out from the bar, which took a bit longer than usual as they were in the middle of changing cooks, but not painful. I got some groceries next door while I waited and the bartender was super nice and kept me updated and hydrated. Ordered a Mediterranean salad and the grilled cheese/tomato bisque combo. All of the food tasted delicious. Salad ingredients were fresh and the balsamic dressing was top notch. The grilled cheese was cooked well, and the bisque was both tasty and creamy, perfect for dipping or sipping. The price tag was pretty average these days, but worth it for a filling and satisfying meal. Chill ambiance inside, would definitely pop in if ever in the area again.

Zola is a fun place to go. Certainly don't go for the food or the cocktails. Go to have a fun time. At happy hour prices, the drinks and food are an ok deal, but really I would recommend going elsewhere for a dinner, and then going to Zolas for the music, dancing, and party Service was good, and so no need to go to the bar. Just sit down at a table, and a friendly server will be by.

Swanky, hip, cool, hipster-doofus vibes with more charm than a bucket of moonstones. Cocktails are really expensive and not worth the price point IMHO. Live music is a great addition but the space and sound mixing were... less than ideal. To me it was incredibly loud with echoey but opinions vary and my GFF was a-ok. Super neat-o booths upstairs converted from old Tilt-a-Whirl rides. Not at all comfortable and a bit jammed in, even with two people, but kitschy AF and that's worth a wee bit of discomfort. Service was serviceable.

Pro: has dance floor and live music. Pro: has a variety of seating Pro : has some games billiards, life-size Jenga , hunting Safari game , and I think a few others. Pro : more than one place to order a drink Pro and Con if you go on a Friday or Saturday it's usually packed. Con : parking can be an issue especially in the winter the long walk in the cold if you get there late. Con: even though this place has a nice atmosphere the sound level is more like that of a bump and grind club. It's so loud we were literally yelling at each other to communicate. Very bad for somebody with sensory issues highly recommend earplugs, usually that will drown out the background noise but you could hear each other talk still with ear plugs. I think it would really benefit the business for them to adjust this to put the majority of the sound at the front of the stage so if people want louder music they can move towards it. Was very difficult to have a conversation with anyone ,and if you're dancing with someone and teaching them it's very difficult for them to hear you and makes the dancing less fun and more of a fumble. Con: The dance floor is kind of awkward, they have support beams in the middle of the dance floor. And then they have picnic style tables on both sides of the dance floor it doesn't really make sense to me. Maybe they arranged that way because of Covid and just left it. But when you're dancing if you go too far to either side you're suddenly running into somebody's table and usually that's because you're trying to move out of the way because there's so many people on the dance floor. Again I think it would make more sense if they would remove the tables from both sides open up that dance floor so more people will want to come and dance. It's hard to get someone who is shy about dancing to go on a dance floor when they're worried about getting ran over or bumped into constantly. And when there's a bunch of people that are under the influence this can quickly lead to an issue . Con: The air quality could be better with the amount of people that are usually crammed in there it can feel a bit warm and stuffy at times. Con: There is a cover charge ,but I have never been there on night where they were cutting off the amount of people inside.Instead of that there would be no seating and you'd have to stand whole time . Con: I don't think they have anybody managing the bathrooms it gets messy in there quick. Con: I wish they had some appetizing food and an atmosphere that would allow some conversation while eating. Food would help balance out alcohol intake and probably make it little safer for those who can't handle their alcohol.Would also be good for people with blood sugar issues so they don't have to leave the fun just to eat. Con: People take your table if you get up to dance or go to the bar , we've had our drinks knocked over and broken and we were only up from our table about few minutes to go close our tab at the bar. Again I think this is due to the imbalance of people over seating and the alcohol intake it versus the food in a persons stomach ,after a few hours some of these people are just gone lol . Overall this is still the best live music bar with a dance floor I have ever been to and very much appreciate the country vibes. But I think they would greatly benefit from re-strategizing their seating towards the entrance of the building and opening up the Dance floor more and adding volume control. I don't think anybody that works a full day wants to go fight for a seat or a space on the dance floor and then have to scream at their friends just to communicate lol or at least me and my girls don't . We will be back but definitely hope they make some improvements in the meantime.

My friend decided to have her bachelorette party there on June 6th and there was an adult diaper behind the toilet in the handicap stall. The toilet was nasty looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was someone there that is a regular and they said they would go tell the manager and they would have the diaper taken care of. One of my friends that was with us at the party on the 6th was out there this past weekend and the diaper was still in the same spot and the toilet still hadn't been cleaned. I'm 100% sure the Porta potty out in the back area is cleaner than these bathrooms. I will not be going back to this nasty establishment. One of the employees said there was mold in the coolers and they wouldn't drink anything that comes out of the tap guns either. What does that say if the employees won't drink what there serving paying customers? The entire place just seems to be a total shit show since I was there the first couple times. Would not recommend going there. They can't get any good bands in there to save there lives. It's always this guy Luke Jaxon who has sang the same songs every time I've been there. They use to have some great concerts posted but they haven't had any in more than a year. Regulars said in the past the gm n staff kept the place clean n very Safe smooth going operation. Everyone use to love going there. Security seems to be a total joke now. It was very put together and very on top of things when i was here before.....apparently a lot of the old staff left when the gm quit. The new staff seem very new and confused. The place definitely isn't the same and many are not going there anymore.

A Nightcap Under 5,000 Pieces of Glass…read more Late Friday night, end of a work trip, and we just wanted one good last pour before bed. The Peacock Room was still open right by our hotel, so in we went. Best accidental decision of the trip. You walk in and the room hits you. Dark, moody, eclectic wallpaper, the kind of place that feels like it has stories. Then you look up. A stained glass peacock ceiling, thousands of pieces of it, glowing over the whole room. I just stood there for a second. Wow. The space is big and built for good company. Plenty of room for four couples or a bigger group to settle in. They stay open till 1am, which makes them a rare find for us late-nighters. The bourbon list earned my respect. I went Michter's, Old Forester 1910, and Weller Antique 107, and the 1.5 oz pours were priced fair and honest. No tourist markup. My wife worked through a Huckleberry Heaven, a dirty martini, and an espresso martini. The Huckleberry leaned on real local huckleberry instead of faking it. The dirty martini came cold and briny with a clean bite, just the way it should be. The espresso martini was rich and smooth with a proper foam cap, the kind that wakes you up and relaxes you at the same time. We got hungry. She had the chicken Caesar, crisp and fresh with warm chicken on top. I went prime rib French dip with fries. Crunchy baguette, savory meat, rich au jus. Exactly what you want at midnight. Then we split the chocolate cabernet cake to close it out, rich and creamy and worth the calories. Tyson and David ran the bar like pros. We're not from around here, so Tyson walking us through the local options meant something. Real conversation, no rushing us, just good people who know their craft. If you're in downtown Spokane, do yourself a favor. Walk in, look up, and order something good.
