“I especially liked that they had a drummer to go along with the piano's, and he had quite a wit about him in between playing.”

My sister and I have gone to the Bing for the Bing Holiday film festival for many years now. We…read morelove it! Being at the Bing, watching White Christmas! It doesn't get better! It's a great little venue with excellent sound. They have popcorn and other snacks and they also have a bar upstairs. It isn't always open, but sometimes it is and it's pretty good. The margaritas are premade, but they still do the job! The staff is nice, the shows are great, and the venue needs our business to stay around. I spent over an hour trying to transfer them to my sister through their ticketing app. Nothing worked. When I called the main number for the theater for help, the manager picked up. She was immediately condescending and rude. She said, "Dear, I'm in the MIDDLE of OPENING and I'M the MANAGER and you can just go to the box office people and WORK IT OUT WITH THEM," and hung up on me. I never asked for a manager. I just needed help. They clearly don't have a real support system. No one was available to handle a simple ticketing issue. After everything I spent to attend, including hotel and airfare, being dismissed like that was unacceptable.

Have you ever witnessed an authentic cowboy supper show? You might think the admission fee is…read morespendy for an evening but its nothing in contrast to the value of what entertainment can be had in the middle of nowhere. The admission fee hasnt changed in years---despite HUGE rising costs of meat for the BBQ the price remains stable. The price is a modest investment into some really awesome music & cowboy stunt show. You get dinner & a live stage show with a few silly cowboy stunts and live music after dinner has been served--you get an MC, it used to be the main actor but it seems like ole' Dusty Bicuspid (imagine Barney Fife) has taken over the MC role. This event is sort of obscure, since it happens like haley's comet every so often and since its clear out at the stateline no one really remembers to return except the loyal fans of bluegrass & live fiddle music. You get a kick ass stage show before the dinner program starts, it has great antics to get kids involved. After the 15 minute show and sweet *special effects* you are then ushered into your seats which are farm style picnic tables inside the barn and you are lucky to score some amazing live acts (lots and lots of mandolin, banjo, fiddle, acoustic guitar). Once the chow is ready they walk you through the buffet line process and the owners have really worked on efficiency as this place is sometimes jammed with A LOT of folks and they always manage to deliver a awesome product in a very reasonable amount of time. The cowboy dinner comes with BBQ roast beef (kids get hot dogs) baked potatoes and pinto beans along with apple sauce, salad and all the lemonade & cowboy coffee you can drink. I love the stage show and the western theme of the juke joint. The family that owns this place has a heart of gold and they really enjoy creating a awesome evening of new and old music and a stage show thats pretty damn entertaining! The waiters, bussers and BBQ tenders all belong to the band usually... They will end up on stage and sharing musical talents with the listeners. I'll be back next week to see the 2019 edition of the cowboy supper show which makes a four year run for me. Heads up for any non-believers, agnostics, atheists and non-golfers: The Brownlee Family creates & owns this show and they practice Christianity and they are proud of it. Prayer is called for before the food comes out... SO, resolve your issues with the church/faith/filth & religion before coming out as this would serve as an awful distraction for an otherwise amazing secular western dinner show.

It's clear that someone put a lot of work into all of the details, from the sets to the bathrooms. The shows were a lot of fun and the kids had the best time. They even gave a little safety first lecture after the shoot-out. We really enjoyed the food. The beans and ribs were stellar - well seasoned and not greasy. We are very happy we checked this place out. It is a cool little throw back to a different time and it is well worth the cost of admission.
