I have photographed a handful of weddings at The McGinnity Room and have enjoyed my experience each and every time. The staff...we're talking the owners to the cleaning crew...are exceptional beyond belief. Everyone is more than willing to help make the couple's day go without a hitch. Each staff member has a smile on their face and wears their heart on their sleeves. The facility is immaculate inside and holds numerous textures for fantastic photos. There isn't anything like it in Spokane. You have to stop by just to see the bridal suite alone...it's a photographer's dream! read more

Choosing The McGinnity Room was one of the easiest decisions my wife and I made when planning our wedding. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful and it is paired perfectly with incredible staff. (Bonus points: They have Guinness on tap!). Kim, who was our McGinnity room coordinator, is one of the most wedding-knowledgeable people I have ever met. It was very clear from the start that she knows what she is doing and she loves her job. I seriously can't explain how awesome it was to have her be there for us. We still (2 years later) have friends and family mention how awesome Kim was and how fun/ beautiful our wedding was. Another bonus point: I called Kim to see if she could get us one of their pies for my Wife and I's first year anniversary as a surprise- not only did she get us a pie but she handmade a cobbler too! She then decorated the venue with lights and a single table and chairs for my Wife and I to sit and enjoy some champagne and pie. She seriously went above and beyond. 10/10 have definitely recommended this venue to friends already. read more

Kim and Melissa were fantastic during the lead up and during the whole weekend of my daughters wedding. The entire staff was outstanding, easy to work with and everyone had the same goal, to make the event the best it could be. My daughter and her new husband had a wonderful time. The room was clean, organized , beautiful decor, everything the bride wanted. The bridal room was awesome and really made the day perfect. There was a minor family issue and Kim and Melissa handled it with me and the bride and groom had no idea . Very professional. We booked the venue last year for our wedding. It was the first and only venue we looked at. We immediately fell in love with it. We just had our wedding on the 6th of October. It couldn't have been any better! Kim was amazing and the staff and bartenders were absolutely amazing. It was hands down the best day of my life!! If you are looking for an indoor venue look no further! The bridal suite is pretty amazing as well. They have a full bar inside. You have to stop by and check it out for yourself. I can literally talk about it til I am blue in the face but my words cannot do this place and it's staff any justice. I cannot praise the staff and operators enough. We will always remember you guys!!! Thanks for making our wedding day amazing and Kim, thank you for going above and beyond for my beautiful bride! Long story short my wife forgot a blow dryer and Kim said I got it taken care of and she went and retrieved one for her so that she didn't have to worry about finding one. What a beautiful space. Seriously. The brick wall, the cafe lights, the lighted curtain. So so beautiful. They have an amazing mimosa bar by the way and the pizza they made was to die for. I love this little gem and cannot wait to see all the magic that it does for the community. read more

This was the perfect venue for my wedding! Many of our family members had recommended The McGinnity Room, as we began our wedding planning process. From the first time my husband and I stepped through the double doors, we knew we had found our wedding space. The McGinnity Room staff were spectacular, the owners -Kim and Melissa caught my vision and created a day that was beyond my wildest dreams. On the day of the wedding, they quickly converted the room from our ceremony set up, to the cocktail reception. The change over was seamless and professional. I could not have asked for more! As our 150 + guests said, it was not just memorable but unforgettable. Phenomenal atmosphere, exposed brick, bold beams, and lights that set the perfect mood. There was convenient parking, great bartenders, amazing attention to detail, and superb food. All the staff went out of their way to make the wedding perfect. As the bride, it was wonderful not having to worry about anything. I would absolutely recommend The McGinnity Room. They run an event center that really went above and beyond! Our nephew just had his wedding here last Friday and we are left with one word to describe Kim and her staff, "WOW!". The venue itself is amazing - from the beautiful bar, the lighting, the awesome bridal waiting room, to the restored brick and wood surrounding the room...so enchanting! This venue is so beautiful but, even better than that, the people that work here are amazing. They hosted a small party for my husband and I, and I couldn't have hoped for anything better. They worked with our outside caterer, they took care of everything including dessert, the house wine and beers were amazing and the full bar was an added bonus, and all the staff members were so sweet. I would recommend this venue for anyone and any type of event! The bridal room was also stunning. I was picturing a small room to put coats, but it was a beautifully decorated space with a private bathroom. Absolutely perfect! read more

Holy smokes, I cannot recommend The McGinnity Room enough to anyone looking to have their wedding, or any sort of gathering/party/event. They blew it out of the park with our wedding. THE STAFF is amazing. They are so organized and professional. Kim, our day of planner is so much more than that. She made everything run so smooth and flawlessly, it is no wonder she has been doing this for many years. Melissa is behind the scenes and really helped the coordination of everything. Kimber was behind the bar (their bar is BEAUTIFUL) and she ran that ship perfectly all night. Those are just a few of the staff, out of so many that made this night one of the best of our lives. Many thanks to everyone who works for The McGinnity Room. THE VENUE: hands down one of the top venues in the Spokane area. The architecture is beautiful - our guests could not stop talking about it. They have the BEST bridal suite out of any venue I have looked at between Spokane and Seattle. Just stunning - make sure you get ready at bridal suite. They offer in house catering (if you are scared of that - don't be!) Their food was incredible. A week after our event I still have guests commenting on how good the food was. The entire team at The McGinnity Room are world class. First, the back story behind this venue is really special and I'll let their team give you the scoop when you reach out to them. Second, the wedding coordinator is the sole reason our wedding went off without a hitch and was 100% stress free. She guided us through the entire planning process and made herself available when we had questions and wanted advice. Then, when it came to the day of the event, she executed our vision without any help from us. I've seen so many weddings where the bride and groom are feeling the pressure of everything going perfect and that wasn't the case for us. Kim had our back and is the biggest sweetheart. Plus, the entire team behind the scenes is world-class. From the bartender Kimber hustling, the staff serving drinks and checking in on our guests, and the kitchen that created some really tasty treats.
