I have used Event Rents for multiple events I have planned, my own wedding, birthday parties and they have always followed through. Delivery, consistency, and quality is truly the name of the game with these guys. I love that the staff have all been there for quite a long time. They all work well together and the selection of items that they have - is incredible. Anything that you need for an event they have it handled. The employee at t and r assured us that once we paid the $80 delivery fee that they would go through our rental venue to take care of deliver and pick up. When we arrived at our rental hall waiting for us were crates of plates we did not order. I had too much to do setting up a service for 200 to count each individual piece ordered. I was told all we would be responsible for was scraping the dishes and leaving them in the kitchen for pick up, which we did. TWO WEEKS LATER... I received a call from Pat at T and R rentals stating that 4 forks were missing. Ummmm..... Well, I told her here is the contact at the rental hall that your employee agreed to go through as per our agreement. Well, she says, that is not my job!! Well, I said, I paid you $80 for that job. How can I possibly protect myself from this $35.00 charge for four forks? How many people have my rented goods gone through in 2 weeks? She then suggested that I pay her more to call the rental facility... I ALREADY PAID YOU FOR THAT SERVICE!! During a heated exchange with this horrible woman she suggested that it couldn't possibly be a counting error on their part their delivery man is minister (remember the boxes of extra plates delivered) It seems very poor business practice to fail to do your job and then blame your customer 2 weeks later.

A week later I got charged $1000 extra because they said I kept it extra days. I went in to contest it and the guy said he would undo it. The incompetent bastard didn't reverse charges, but proceeded to double charge me and then said it was fixed. After a month of messing around calling people, contesting charges with my credit card and uhaul I finally got it taken care of with them kicking and screaming the entire time. DO NOT GO HERE. The incompetence is beyond the pale.

Fortunately it had a 110 plug you could run an extension cord to. But the plug only had one prong on the receptacle, unusable. We took a battery out of our truck, wired it in and completed our task. on the way back to drop off the POS we crossed a railroad track and the bump caused one of the stabilizers to fall off. When I returned it, the counter guy was rude and unapologetic. I told them the issues I had and got no response. As I was leaving the yard crew was hooking the lift up to another customers truck, un serviced and broken, beware of a to z rentals......

I was working on a difficult project--drilling through…read morea concrete foundation and brick--when the core drill bit caught and twisted the machine right out of my hand. Not only did I end up with a hurt wrist, but the drill was damaged in the fall. I was stressed about returning broken equipment, but the team here was unbelievably kind and understanding. They didn't charge me for the damage and were genuinely concerned about my injury. Their service was fast, and they even went above and beyond by offering to find another store with a drill in stock so I could finish my project. I've opted to wait until I heal up, but I will absolutely be coming back to Sun Rental for all my future needs. Truly a top-notch, customer-first local business.
