I am very disappointed to say I did NOT have a good experience communicating with Ballard Event Planning and believe this company is a scam. I was hesitant to even post a review but felt the need to communicate with other brides because I wasted so much time and got so stressed out.
It seems Madison has little to no knowledge or true experience in the wedding industry. From the beginning, her pricing is extremely hard to follow, but plays it off as "customizable." If you ask clarifying questions, she gives you very vague and confusing answers. You will have better luck planning your wedding on The Knot or another free service than the basic checklists and help she'll provide you.
Next, she is very clearly doing a lot of false advertising. She states her and her team have "mastered crafting unforgettable weddings with their wide range of tailor-made coordination services" when she has zero education and zero experience besides her own wedding. She claims to have "a dedicated team" then informs me she tacks on extra assistance at an additional charge.
Madison provided me a list of references to contact. They were all very honest about her lack of communication, lacked following instructions, and had to go a cleanup little mistakes along the way. In most pictures, you can see her lack of attention to detail - most linens had horrible wrinkles, plus her rentals look very cheap.
Overall, avoid this company at all costs. I understand she is new but she shouldn't be testing the waters when such a big, expensive day is on the line. There are lots of other planners who can celebrate your day who are truly qualified and won't waste your time. read more
