This beautifully restored Victorian Mansion was our best B&B experience yet. The room are tastefully decorated in Victorian antiques. Everything from the claw-footed tub in the bathroom to the ornate chandelier in the dining room made us feel like we had stepped back in time. We would love to come back for one of their Victorian high teas. Every course of the full service breakfast was delicious, especially the dutch babies. The staff was great. We scheduled an event here, paying with 3 separate checks. We were told the deposit was refundable…read more Then, after paying were were told there was a tax on the deposit. We had asked about it several times before, and the amount were were told hadn't changed, nor had it included tax. Their website didn't (and still doesn't) include the tax. When we called the event off, one of the parties received $800 (50% of the total, but $200 more than their deposit) and the other two parties received nothing. Denise (in charge of the mansion events) told us only half of the deposit was refundable. It has now been months, and I still don't have my share back, and the other party only got $200 back from the extra $200 they were sent. Don't trust these people under any circumstances. They deceive, lie, and won't even refund people that write them checks.
